Advice? Wanting to sell Skylanders

Hey guys. I'm looking to sell my Spyro Skylanders set that I got in the Walmart exclusive console bundle. I guess I need help on where to sell it, how much, and if there's anyone who actually wants it. Its never been opened or used. Comes with the game, 3 figures, and portal. I'm trying to get a new copy of GTA V. Or at least close to enough money to get one. Thanks.
 
If you're talking about the one with the exclusive green Gill Grunt: I bought the exact item you're wanting to sell (game+portal+3 figures) from eBay for about $18 shipped a month ago.

Unfortunately, it's not worth anywhere close to a new game.  Try Craigslist, I guess.

Well this sucks balls. I'd at least wanna get $30 for the whole thing. Already posted it on Craigslist. I live in SC and people don't game down here.
 
Is it new or used? If it's used, Skylanders starters are unfortunately all but worthless in my selling experience. One thing you might consider is breaking up the set into components and selling them individually on Amazon. For some reason, if you sell figures and the game and the portal separately, you can actually make more than selling it as a complete set (shipping will be cheaper for you too). The Green Gil Grunt goes for around $12 used and you can make a little additional profit on the higher shipping fees.

Eventually someone will buy all your starter figures, I sold a Tree Rex by itself for $5 and shipping and that's an incredibly common figure everyone should have. The other option is sell everything but the Green Gil Grunt and hang onto it until the price rises. There are only 20 or so listed on Amazon currently ... wait 6 months and you can use scarcity to your advantage (things always sell for more on Amazon than eBay ... people always pay more).

Its new. Like I said, I'm trying to get gta. Honestly just need monies lol.
