How many times can I download my games or software?

You can download an unlimited number of times for personal use. To re-download, go to Your Games and Software Library through the "Your Digital Items" link at the top of the screen and click the download button.
Can I download and install to multiple computers?

For video games: Each game manufacturer has a different policy on how many installations are allowed with each product key. If you run out of installations for the product key you originally purchased from Amazon, please contact Customer Service and we will happily provide you with another key at no additional charge. You can install an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately.

So, do you have any idea what the DRM is?

Hey there! Yeah, Sunday's kick off for Deal of the Week will be an oldie but a goodie at a price point that I think you'll all get excited about :).

GameStop PC App is selling Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga for $10 for download.

So hopefully, Amazon matches the price and people who missed out on this underrated gem get this game. ;)
The game is REALLY good.

I already own this Divinity 2: DKS Edition from Amazon DL, but I thought I'd point this out...and really want to point the next stuff out...
Larian released yesterday a DRM-Free EXE file to remove the game's Securom DRM.
Make sure you FIRST update the game first to Version 1.4.9.70; then rename the old EXE Divinity 2.exe to something else like Divinity2_withDRM.exe (as a back-up, just in case); download the new DRM-FREE EXE; and then you throw that new DRM-FREE EXE in the DKS Edition\bin folder.
DRM-FREE EXE works fine here for DKS Edition that I bought from Amazon.

Support LARIAN and DRM-removal patches!
 
I appreciated the $10 Shogun 2 deal... and then I got a $5 credit from it? Planning on buying Christmas gifts from Amazon (someone's getting a Kindle), so fan-freakin-tastic. Amazing game for what will equate to be $5. Mmmhmmm.

Too bad today's deals are tepid at best. :(
 
Amazon direct downloads just depress me. They seem to be the only retailer treating US and Canadian customers differently in terms of what we can buy. I mean, I can't actually purchase ANY DD content from Amazon and .ca is pretty useless unless I want a book.

I'm sure there's a reason for it that I don't get, but it's frustrating to be treated as a North American region on Steam, D2D, GamersGate, and everywhere else but be locked out of Amazon deals.

I hope RPG gamers who missed out on Div 2: DKS Edition get this from you guys.
I thought it was EASILY worth the $16 for download, back months ago when you topped Steam's $20 deal for it.

At $10 and w/ NO DRM Patch released, there's now NO REASON for RPG gamers to miss out on Div 2: DKS Edition.

Even though I already bought it from Amazon download on Cyber Monday, I wonder how many missed that $10 deal then....and I wonder if Amazon DL will match this current deal. ;)

Bought that a while back from Amazon DL service.
And since people will ask, Borderlands: GOTY Version from Amazon will activate on Steam - speaking from experience here. ;)
 
There's no demo for Borderlands is there? It's something I'm sure I'd love, but not so sure the laptop is going to run it reasonably.

Awesome, so glad I didn't grab Risen for $15 that Steam was pushing during their Thanksgiving promo. I'm sold for $6!

Any word on what DRM it has? I know the Steam version was pretty strict and had Tages I think. I can't remember if other versions had an official patch that removed it or not though. Still, for $6, I am in and can't be too fussed at that price. Thanks for the deal!

I'm kinda curious about the DRM too. The Tages in the Steam version is what has kept me from purchasing it from there before.

I'll bet you it's Tages on Risen PC download.
Gamersgate version [for PC download from Internet] uses Tages.

This is just a guess, keep in mind.

Usually, what companies do, to make patching easier and spend less resources on patching - you have a Steam version and a Non-Steam version for DRM.

Remember, Steam version has Tages. I'll bet you all they did was be lazy and just ADD the Steam DRM on top of the Tages.

Retail box of Risen PC uses Tages disc-check. No Internet involved, when disc is in the drive.
What some modern versions of Tages does is when a disc is in the drive, it looks for the disc.
If not, you have whatever the Internet install limits levied are.

Update: It showed up at 3.74 on amazon page and paid 3.74 at check out. Just check the payment again and it charge me $14.99. Was wondering if Tony could help me out with this? I suggest waiting until this is fixed

Here's a question, the Amazon version has an exclusive pet while you get bonus items on the Steam version

If you buy it on Amazon and activate it on Steam do you get the pet PLUS the Steam items or is it pick and choose what perk you like better?

For those wondering this is from Amazon...

I got the steam version awhile back and while the pets are nice for the mid range levels, you will eventually replace them with different ones. That being said, i'm assuming this is the same for the amazon pet but I'm not certain. The question is if you want to play as the huntress and use the portal gun, which will probably also need to be replaced.

P.s. The engineer pet from steam also heals towers that dragon could be the same exact pet more or less.

Edit: Looks like the dragon attacks and heals, so slightly better than the engineer.
