F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.
I'm not really sure what's wrong with me. Bought the Red Wii Bundle, after deciding I was just going to sell my Wii since I never play it. >.< It's already being prepped for shipping, so I can't cancel it either. *sigh*
Been 1 clicking most my recent purchases in case I'm struck with immediate buyer's remorse.

Thought it would make it easier to waste money by enabling 1 click ordering, but seems like it has been the opposite. 30 minute buffer comes in very handy.

I wasn't aware there was a 30 minute buffer with 1-click. That's actually really convenient.

I'm on live chat with an amazon rep now...trying to cancel LOL

Hmm i kinda want to buy the move at $74.. Then get a $200 PS3 if i can. Good Idea? Or should i just wait for a move bundle for around $250-270?

I know the feeling...I bought a 250GB kinect bundle a while ago and it got canceled a couple of hours later. I have not been able to find any since and I really hope that Amazon will have a good deal on them on BF. Not so sure anymore since they are selling like cup cakes...
Has anyone noticed if iPod touches ever show up in the warehouse?
I bought my current 64 GB one from the warehouse, they always had 32's it seemed.

It was brand new, just the plastic case it comes in was cracked on the back.
Yes. What do you have against the DS?
Sorry, I must have missed this post earlier. Like somebody else said, I have nothing against the DS, and it being accessible to the bathroom doesn't bother me, either. :p What worries me about used DS's in general is the touch screen. If you go off the assumption that it's going to be a slightly damaged box with Warehouse Deals (which you wouldn't be too wrong to do), you don't have anything to worry about. However, there's always a chance you're going to get a used one that was owned by a hyperactive kid, or someone who didn't care about it once they decided they were going to sell it. The touch screen in those cases would probably be pretty torn up. And since it's such a major part of DS gaming, I can't imagine playing with one like that. That's just my two cents about it, though.

Well, there are browser plug-ins that will give you updates on specific pages, but as far as I know, even tracking the "Just Arrived" link won't give you the most accurate results.
Oh and just a heads up, the U2 GOTY comes with a voucher and isn't on disc, if I have read correctly in the past.
That is correct.

Sort of off topic but on topic enough for me to ask...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the stickiness completely removed from the white stickers that are on the back of the game case?

I've learned to leave the stickers alone till the game case is once again room temperature but more often than not they don't pull off cleanly so I've just been leaving them on of late... but they do annoy me so I'm not sure how long that will last.

Thanks for all these updates on game prices lately. I'm not in the market for a new console so I'm really only following this thread for the game finds.

Use packaging tape to remove the residue. Just lay it on over, and rip the tape back up quickly and repeat until it's gone. Removed the residue from the copy of Crash Time I just received from Warehouse Deals

Forgot who recommended that around here.

Goo Gone or WD40 will do the trick. Spread on paper towel or rag, rub/scratch the sticker, and it'll come off like nothing was ever on there.

You can also use a piece of packing tape, put it on the sticker, press it down real good and pull off. Repeat as needed, that way you're not using any chemicals on your cases.
Damn, just missed the sports active one! I'm really hoping more show up.
Yes, same here!

Has anyone tried to get Amazon to use their $20 (200 Points) credit from Black Ops on things shipped by the Amazon Warehouse? I'd like to get RUSE (often appears at the warehouse), because it's much cheaper than Amazon's New price. However, anything I add from the Warehouse doesn't add my $20 credit to it.

I imagine if I called them after I placed the order perhaps? Just curious if anyone did the same.

Makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, I haven't had any bad luck with used consoles in the past so I decided tot take a shot on a used Dsi. I appreciate your advice though.

I'll take that into account. If anything, I assume I could always return anything bought from the Amazon warehouse within an alloted time.

The gaming credits (unlike gift cards) only work if sold directly by Amazon.

What I want to know is if we buy anything starting November from the warehouse, do we benefit from the holiday return policy?

Yes, I already noticed this because I had to return a recent purchase. Jan 31 deadline I believe

Wow. That's exactly what I do. Packing tape is pretty great at removing the residue, but it does make an annoying sound while doing it.

That's certainly true. Buying a used DS from Amazon is definitely different than buying a used DS from some random guy. :p

Also, :360: Blazblue: Continuum Shift is up for $24. Considering Continuum Shift 2 is supposed to come out in December (which is going to be a free download), if you're on the fence about it, now would be a good time to pick it up. Plus, I'm always looking for some competition. :3

Does amazon usually reseal used games? I don't think its new for one I ordered from the warehouse and wrap round the spine seems 'glued' together. Just curious more so then anything; and an awesome deal for $12 for Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

FTW:
for those wondering how my $300 Like New 250GB Kinect bundle would work out: a dent on corner of box, but still has the BOX SEAL INTACT! Woot! Pics up soon!

yes, I'm happy with it!

CS could have been DLC for CT, wouldn't be surprised if CS 2 was turned into a full game.
Time Crisis Razing Storm is $33.99.
Pretty tempting but the reviews are making me pass
