F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Son of a fuck! I missed Tales of Destiny II AGAIN!

There is a better port of Tales of Destiny 2, on the PSP titled, Tales of Eternia. It's only released in European territories in English, but works on US PSPs.

I know, I have it. I want the one on Playstation for my collection.

Yeah.. with game-breaking freeze and all. Promptly sold my copy on eBay and used an ISO to bypass the freeze. No point in collecting a broken game, although they did print it later on with the fix... /sigh

Fantastic game though, I wanna pick up a PSX copy as well but damn it's still expensive.

Just saw on SD that AWD is offering $158 TIV for xbox 20 GB.

That's enough to tell me that these prices aren't going down anytime soon. Looks like its the seller's market........Buying cheap or selling high, guess it's still more cash in our pockets right?

At what point in the game does this occur? I played through the entire game on the Ps1 and never experienced anything like this.

It is the PSP import version. If the UMD's firmware is below 2.5, the glitch occurs when you go to fight Volt.

Thankfully I got a non glitched copy :D

I think they are talking about the psp version of the game.

Dropped already, down to $63

Well I spent all of my Amazon credit on a new computer monitor and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Hopefully I figured with these prices the way they were I was better off doing that. Hopefully I don't regret it.

There was actually a couple decent ones last night, but they were mostly consoles and gone quick. A ps3 160gb for $200, a black 3ds for $209, and a dsi xl for $115 (not sure how good that price is, seemed good enough).

I remember when the 3DS just released and they had some for something like $187. THAT was a good deal. $209 is a really good deal too, I am just not sold I need another handheld right now. Especially knowing they are going to release probably 4 different 3DS systems. I may wait for the new one and see if that one is worth getting or maybe getting this one for cheaper.

It seems like it's been so long but there was still great prices during the first few days of this month. I'm noticing a lot more of the items that pop up with good prices are less than "like new" condition also. I think it's worth the gamble for consoles at a good price, but I try not to order games in acceptable condition unless they are really cheap.

Since I can't get a response from any seller......

Has anyone here bought an Onimusha 3 Katana Controller from the warehouse or pieceofmind? If you have, you know why I'm asking.

So far so good still with Like New cartridge games from AWD. Only got one today but Golden Sun: The Lost Age for GBA came complete in excellent condition. I also got lucky and got instructions with an acceptable GBA game. Sadly one package UPS routed incorrectly so I'll have to wait until next week. Also have other stuff coming Monday or Tuesday that includes several Like New cartridge games so that will be the real test.

Read the reviews. It's an anime DVD, upc mixup.

Nice, received Like New Pikmin 2 with the Pikmin 1 manual inside of it. When I had an online chat session with amazon they said I need to call Nintendo to get it fixed. Just sent in an email since I find the chat sessions to be super useless.

Haha. I don't think it matters which method you use, but rather who you talk to. Either way they aren't going to mail you the correct manual if that is what you were hoping for. At best they will give you a discount. If you want the right manual you are better off just returning it. Quite a few Pikmin 2's have been available from AWD lately, though they sell quickly.

I agree. I bit only because I found a lady selling one on craigslist for $180. Still new and sealed. I've tinkered with it a bit, but there's no reason for me to play instead of my DS XL. The 3D camera is cool, but the viewing angle on the thing is pretty precise.

In better news, Hillis is officially the Madden cover athlete. CLE!

Yes sir! That was awesome. I am going to have to buy that game now. Our votes definitely sealed the win for him!
Oh and that is a good price for a new 3DS, so it is completely understandable. $250 is just to high right now, plus there will be a bunch of games out for it once there is a price drop/new version out.

OT but, I got accessories from a company that said was selling stuff made by nintendo... I emailed them and have not got email. I chat with amazon or what?

i have no interest in buying a 3ds until one of the things happen

a major RPG game comes to the 3ds (no a remake does not count)
the online system comes online and you can download the Nes /gba Rpg games

I was thinking about getting a handheld, between the 3DS and NGP, but considering Nintendo is dropping a new console next year, I might as well get the full experience at home.
i'm getting another move bundle for $56.99 like new. :D
thats awesome , and since you already have an eye toy you can sell the second eye toy since you only need 1 to play and make it even a better deal :D

I've never shopped with Amazon warehouse deals before. How is it different from Amazon? Are the items only used?

Also, can I use my gift card credits that are in my Amazon balance if I wanted to purchase something from the warehouse?

If only this information was located in some place everyone could find, like the 1st page of this thread.
got my tales of destiny II. came incomplete :(
Was that the acceptable copy?

anyone know if they read packaging feedback? I left my dissatisfaction with the way a console I purchased was shipped. They shipped the system and all its contents in a plain box with no bubble wrapping, needless to say everything was scuffed and and even dented due to it just being tossed around during shipment. Im returning it, but was just curious if anyone has ever gotten a response to leaving negative packaging feedback.

It seems like I might have in a way. Ups was consistently effing up packages (all box ones). Now I get everything in a bubble mailer shipped by usps, which is both a good and bad thing.

I've complained numerous times and left feedback but I haven't seen them change anything. Some CS person said they even forwarded my message to the packing dept. But they still ship items in bubble mailers via UPS (which is the most sure way of it getting crushed in my experience...versus usps or ontrac). I just returned another crushed game earlier this week.

I also tried ordering many items in an order so it doesn't get shipped in just a bubble mailer...but since the items are in different warehouses sometimes, they still get shipped separate. At least Amazon has a good return policy. I usually just return the damaged one and order another

I'm so tempted to jump on that Divinity II, but the "Acceptable Condition," the large bend described on the packaging, the fact it probably doesn't come with the artbook or cd, my huge backlog and that it will probably be $30 new, soon, makes me hold back. But then again, its only $25

Edit: It's gone, Guess I don't have to think about it anymore.
