What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Updated roster and more game modes is all for the new one. Though of course, 200 achievement cap on that one if that's your thing.
 
Well my copies of Lost Planet 2-Like New ($7.99) and Dead Space 2-Like New ($12.99) arrived today. Both were in pristine condition but no code for DS2...although I could care less about the MP. I also ordered these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E1Y5O6 (Velcro Ties- $6.78). They are actually really handy for all the cords and stuff I usually bind using old twist ties. They also make a good filler for those without Prime needing to get to $25 for the free shipping.

OT-Noticed Amazon has changed the website look? Not sure how I am liking it...more minimalistic I guess.

where the fuck is this new website look everyone keeps mentioning??!?!

I keep reading about it for the past month and it looks the same for me on chrome, ie, and firefox, hell it even looks the same from my tablet and cell phone.

You know sometimes I get the new site and sometimes I get the old one. Not sure why. I use Firefox also. The new look is just more open...a lot more white on the screen...I have no idea what is going on with it.

Same here, I saw new look only once. It actually looks more like all the button graphic aren't completely loaded.
 
They are testing the new site so some people won't get to see it until it launches with the tablet (the same thing they did when they changed the order history layout and functionality). I've seen some preview pictures and wasn't too fond that they removed the big buttons. The rationalization for the new site was for tablet (primarily for their new tablet) and mobile customers to have a better experience.

Why not use technology properly and have it adjust to the device? It's silly to try to make both look the same when obviously they work differently. I do kind of like the cleaner style but miss the buttons. How is it going to work on a tablet though? You can't hover over like you can with a pointer.

I get the new layout showing up on my one computer, but it doesn't show up any the rest of them. Personally, I hate it. Like Kouleefoh stated, it looks like the page just isn't loading all of the buttons correctly.

Also, I just received my 1st AWD game (Resistance 2 - Like New), and I have to say I am very surprised how excellent the condition is. To top it off, it was a black label, not a GH version :)

That's the way the website lays out for me on my dell streak but none of my other devices. I thought it was a "tablet" version site or something...

i gotta admit I actually do like the way the new one looks. The old one just looks too cluttered.

Sorry, I never saw you ask. I have had this new layout for a while now and I am fairly used to it. It is just "Okay." Nothing too special. Someone posted a picture of it that basically shows everything.

It's cool, it wasn't in this thread though, I know you can lose track of where you post. I wish we had that feature SD has; you get notified when someone replies to one of your posts.

I've read some of these guys use the same sticker to remove it but I prefer to use an adhesive remover. That works for me.

It only seems that the games from that penny fiasco went up by 5 and are all the same price, hoarders probibly cleaned out their stock of these games so the prices on them went up.

Really dude? The 1 cent thing happened over a week ago and just tonight it catches up? I did not get an penny games but that is not the reason. Just a general fluctuation in the prices I would bet. Trying to actually figure out the used game market would make anyone's head spin. Some game on Amazon can be $10 but GS sells it for $25 and GoHastings has it for $15.

I find it funny your first post on this site is some sanctimonious rant about jobs, people's lives and some ripples in the water shit. You want to have a philosophical question and answer period go here http://onlinephilosophyclub.com/. Yeah the fluctuation is one thing but all these games jumped way higher then normal. Hopefully it's only for a week or so (maybe longer looking at what games are coming out soon) and then it goes back to normal.

The mere fact you expect me to know who you are only reinforces your image as a know nothing blowhard. Basic economics? You mean to tell me that a bunch of games (aprox 10 titles) that were sold on Sept 3rd for one cent a piece to a very small number of people caused the sudden rise in many of the games on AWH tonight 9 days later? This after they were selling those same titles at a cheaper price AFTER they already sold the one cent games? I can guarantee you the sale of the games the past 9 days had more to do with this price increase than the 1 cent games sold on one afternoon. Are you claiming that Amazon needs 9 days to figure out their inventories or their sales. And it is a philosophical question when you call into question the moral implications of taking advantage of a "glitch" and its subsequent effects on economics. Should I be worried if you get a worse price if it means getting a better price for myself or if it costs someone their job? Do we value the individual pursuit of happiness over that of the happiness of the whole? These are the things you are implying when calling out those who got their 1 cent games.

Please tell where in your 1st post you are actually talking about "cheap games" like your 2nd post claims. Your first post was squarely referring to the price increase being the fault of "creeps" taking advantage of a glitch. You then proceed to equate that to jobs being hurt somehow without any knowledge of this actually occurring. The next part is some type of rambling about little birds and affiliates yet you then deny referring to any sort of "them" in your second post.

Well I usually try not to get worked up on the net since it is full of nothing but trolls and whack jobs but I bit tonight. Second, I just hope this price jump doesn't have the same trend as last time.
AWD thread was DEAD for nearly 6 fuckn months b/c AWD jacked up all their prices.
I still remember when Poker kept trying to insist that shit would only last a week, err 2 weeks, err a month, errr a couple months...

It's an obvious cycle that they do. After the last cycle, i think everyone was doubtful. Luckily, they ended the high price cycle. Sad to see it may have possibly started again though. Hopefully it doesn't last as long. Many prices are still really good right now though.
