What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Nah, Amazon randomly emailed me saying they deposited a $10 credit into my account and I decided to use that on the double pack. Still don't know why I got that credit.....

I had bought the SR2 L.E. at Sears.com back about 1 or so years ago when it was being clearanced. I don't own the 1st one so this was an attractive price for me.

It was $19.99 + tax (I think it qualified for FS at the time).

Man, Killzone 2 is taking its sweet time to reach $12. It's down to $15.99 (down $3 last time I checked). Heavy Rain went up $2-3.
 
Would anyone recommend Test Drive Unlimited 2?

Is it enjoyable to kick back and explore, after a day of work?

Also, how is the online portion?

IMO, it was one of the worst games I've played in.... forever. Cheesy cut-scenes, below average framerate, shitty textures, clunky physics - just wasn't fun. You'd have more fun playing the original, which is much more well reviewed and liked.

Oh, and I got it on the 9.99 best buy sale a couple months ago - so I'm not just some butt-hurt-wasted-$60-bucks-so-im-mad kinda guy.

Thanks to CAG I discovered Amazon Warehouse deals, and have already spent more than intended... But dang are the deals impressive compared to everything else I have seen so far. (rounded up to the nearest dollar)

Fallout 3 GOTY - $22
Resident Evil 5 - $12
Ghostbusters - $14
The Orange Box - $15
Matt Hazard - $9

And I have a dozen + games in my cart waiting for my next paycheck to really dive into the deals (other deals ate most of my funds) and I was about 5 seconds late on that last Gears 3 copy, I clicked add to cart when just 1 was left, and it was already gone.

Back in March I lost most of my games and blu-ray movies to a house fire, about all that made it were on blu-ray discs (these things are far tougher than anyone can imagine, my game room was the heart of the inferno and most of them survived) I wish I knew about the warehouse deals back then, I would have saved a ton of money over the course of rebuying everything....


A few of the things I would love to replace are my Slimer Edition of Ghostbusters (for the Slimer statue) and the Fallout 3 Lunchbox/ Bobblehead, not even the lunchbox can survive a fire.)

No, but you are a guy who obviously didn't get the update. Because none of those things are a problem now.

I'd recommend it at that price. Always loved the first TDU1. TDU2 is basically a larger TDU1 in terms of places to explore (two islands instead of one, though to be fair the second island isn't huge, you can explore most of it and do everything in less then 20 hours) with the latest content. It's only lacking in Bikes (TDU1 had Bikes) which have been promised as DLC but I think the developers have given up on the game in terms of future support (the last patch took months.) so who knows if we'll see them. The controls *do* taking getting use to, but honestly outside of TDU1 It's the only free roam racer I know with a massive multiplayer enviorment. Heres hoping the next Forza copies it.

Though if I had a choice, and even though they are different racers, I'd go with Blur still over it.
 
A few pics for the curious. The FFXIII pic, the game disc was completly untouched. And Little Nicky's picture didn't get touched by the flame at all, it creeped me out...

I already replaced most of the stuff pictured, going with the Kai blu-ray releases on DBZ, and lucked out with the complete season 1 of Code Geass releasing finally, so that saved me $60. Waiting on Season 2.

It's really hit or miss, I've gotten a few that were really like new with everything and a couple missing booklets. So far I've never received one that was actually missing the case.
 
Agree with this. Also picked it up for $10. I thoroughly enjoy it. I have the cheapo Logitech steering wheel and think it's a blast. never player with a controller so cannot comment on controls being bad.

Black Ops for the 360 at $29.99 which is the lowest I've seen it.

Reach is $16.99 but I think I've seen that lower before.

Black ops has actually been in the lower 20's. As for Reach , I think that is the lowest it has been on AWD.

That's encouraging. I've been holding out for Black Ops but hadn't seen it lower than that. I'll have to keep an eye out then.
 
I got Black Ops about 2 weeks ago for $23.99, which I'm glad I did because I've never seen it cheaper. It was in (basically) brand new condition, too, so I lucked out.

AC:II is a great game. If you even remotely liked the first you will love this one. They worked a lot of the issues that the first one suffered and it is a very polished experience. I am in the middle of playing it and I like it. The great thing is that you have Brotherhood which will be cheaper (although people have gotten it for $15) to keep you busy afterwards so by the time you want to get Revelations it should be cheap.

well to be fair, they did play TB and my pathetic chiefs... but yes they look pretty darn good. Have to see how that D holds up against a decent offense though. :applause:

You make a good point, I'd also like to see how they do against a "quality" team. Being a Broncos fan I'm loving how the Chiefs are playing this year ;), though after the McDaniels mess the last couple years I'm sure we'll come in right above you guys :wall:

Just ordered a Like New version of Gears of War 2 limited edition for $23 from Express media. Thought it was a good price since the next Prime eligible is Acceptable at $39.
 
If you want to help with the thread, just watch items you want from time to time to see if AWD has something good. Then just post when you strike. More people watching, the more likely others here can jump on the deal too.

I understand what you're saying, but in reality Amazon provides all the info you could hope for.

It's best to think of Amazon (in general) the most accurate and best condition of the preowned market. And the nice thing, if it doesn't meet your standards, you send it back and they pay the shipping.
