F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What if we made a wiki?

Every body who purchased a game or system could list the price they spent and the condition it was listed as... as well as the condition in which it arrived.
Can I offer a suggestion or ask for something? Haha

Poker or whomever -

Can you by any chance update the OP with more detailed information about the conditions? I really think this would help a lot of us...

What do you guys think?
the main thing would be to add a warning to people to check the item description thoroughly because its easy to get screwed if you dont.

Yeah what he said haha

Well, just had my first problem, bought something from another seller, shipping was cheap so figured why not, game came in, but it was the PC version. >_< Now I gotta go out of my way to get this fixed.

I can see the wiki idea turning into a real slopfest in a hurry, plus, prices change all the time (trending downward of course) and condition is normally if not always spot on or better.

I guess I'm just not sure what information you're looking to mine from a wiki with that type of content...?

I've had horrible luck with actual sellers that weren't Amazon or Amazon Warehouse Deals. I'm swearing off buying anything, people make too many mistakes on there and I've had probably 50% of the items I buy in conditions worse then stated.
Got my 12.99 copy of Homefront from AWD - missing disc :).
Thats just bad luck. I received my copy yesterday and it was pristine, but no online code.

If anyone has a spare and feels generous PM please:)

It's just people being lazy again and not wanting to keep an eye out for a copy of the game(s) they want when they come in stock, which may happen at 7 am, 7pm or anytime in between.

I've learned you just have to be vigilant and keep F5'ing the page for the game(s) you want till one comes in stock at the price/condition you want.

Any games you guys recommend from 2011 that have hit the $15 below mark?

Something with online multiplayer or exploration/sand box type.

While it's not really multiplayer or openworld...Bulletstorm

Did Fallout New Vegas release in 2011? I recommend that

Bulletstorm, Homefront, Dead Space 2, Dragon Age II.
Seems like a good deal, does anyone know what the lowest price the 3DS has gone for in AWD?
The lowest I've seen is around $107, but they usually go really fast.

Got my PS3 Move bundle today and it was brand new. The box was open (weird how the PS3 box was in another PS3 box...) but you can tell nothing had ever been used before. Not bad for $245, especially if I can sell the Move stuff since I don't see myself ever using them.

Just Cause 2 for a sandbox game

If you're going to sell your Move, you better get started now. Kmart is going to have the Sports Champions bundle for $50 next week.

Yeah. I got mine at $109. Had to setup a refresher to snag it.

Blah... So I am not going to get much for this thing then am I? Maybe it'll go up on the trading forums then.

Just depends on where you are selling it, you could wait until it is off sale, or you could sell on Ebay where people tend to always overpay anyway. I constantly see games on there that are used or new that I can buy on Amazon for cheaper plus free shipping.

Don't overestimate people!! haha...

try craigslist...there's some people willing to overpay on there

It's worth a decent amount right now. Why wait when the price is just going to keep dropping and he has no interest in the Move? It's best to sell it now before its used value drops more. Sure some people overpay, but the more of these sold means less potential buyers. However it's going for around $60 used on Amazon. Just stick it on Craigslist for 70-60 and see if you get some interest. If not, move it to ebay.

I was gonna order something, but I forgot my Prime ran out. Gah, I don't want to go back to the way it was.

I wonder if I can use my gift card balance to buy it back.

You can't

has anyone had problems with their gift card balance? whenever i return something and they said they processed it and everything, it shows up on history but not on balance. they are trying to fix the problem for me now.

That was prolly mine I just shipped back. I bought it used hoping it had been setup for the ambassador program, but it was basically untouched besides the box being open when I got it. So I returned it, its in freaking great condition. I decided to enjoy my XL awhile longer.

My Xbox copy of Deus Ex in good condition just arrived. I am surprised it's in black case. I put it in my xbox and it's saying media disk. Then I realized it's a PC copy. The code on the manual is still not used and can be redeemed on Steam. Another code in the case also gave me a full Playpass of Deus Ex on Onlive. My computer is shitty but I do have an Online system. I just can't complain too much.
Hehe. Prime is evil. We love it, yet it makes us spend, spend, spend.
Prime + Warehouse Deals + CAG = Empty Wallet...:cry::lol::cry::lol:

I just ordered a used-like new copy of both :ps3: Duke Nukem Forever and :ps3:inFamous earlier for $26.98 total shipped. But has anyone else noticed that the copies of inFamous up on AWD are switching back and forth between used-like new and used-acceptable?

Catherine didn't seem to be quite that limited of a run though.:whistle2:#
Limited Run in US.

How limited can it be if every GameStop around me has a copy? Granted all of the new ones are probably gutted.
How limited can it be if every GameStop around me has a copy? Granted all of the new ones are probably gutted.
Granted anyone who wants these games usually buys them from ATLUS/NIS directly due to the limited pre order bonuses. Why would anyone buy them from GS?

Take it for what it is, but don't base the( for lack of a better word) rarity of an item off the in store inventory when it comes to GS.

Another case is Hyperdimension Neptunia, another game that had very limited run in the US which basically within the first week of being sold in the US gamestop was OOS on the online side of things.

@IamTheCheapestGamer I Kinda wish Catherine was like a lot of the other "Rarer" ATLUS/NIS titles, as it deserves it.

Yeah. It's definitely a very 'unique' title, to say the least.;)

Have you finished the game and/or seen all of the endings? There's EIGHT of them for the record.;)
Prime + Warehouse Deals + CAG = Empty Wallet...:cry::lol::cry::lol:
Revised equation:
Prime + Warehouse Deals + CAG + Best Buy TIVs/promos = :)

I've been stuck on a level for awhile, i guess I'm gonna have to give in and look up a solution to get through it. I am really curious about the ending.
Prime + Warehouse Deals + CAG = Empty Wallet...:cry::lol::cry::lol:
This.

I love that I am saving so much money, but I hate that I am spending more money than I would have... I can't complain though.

I wonder how much the Vita will go for in the warehouse once it launches?

(waiting for Tales of the Abyss on 3DS to get that system, Vita will be a grab it once a base price range is set.)
