What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Sure we can. It's a rotten practice that I hope dies in the next console generation. Companies need to wise up and realize that this is a failed model. Look to services like Steam that reward players for purchases. Digital media is on the rise and EA's response is inadequate: Punish folks that still like to buy discs used and launch Origin.

Sheesh... Why are you guys so pessimistic? Come on... so one guy posts that he isn't going to buy EA games and it's time to pounce? We are spoiled for choice as gamers nowadays. I'm sure you can lead a happy gaming life and still wave your middle finger in the direction of EA if that's your choice. Good for folks that have the backbone to steer clear because they don't like the way they run their business.
 
EA sucks it's my choice I don't care ... They are assholes always looking to make easy money.. Madden's are a joke .. all EA sport games are... paying money for online access stinks... i'll buy the others that allow me to play online without code.

If you are going to charge for online make it like $1 - $3 ... $10?? really? I pay already for xbl

also I bought the game and you did sell the copy as brand new prior to me buying it so you did make money

and xbl live membership costs me 34.95 a year (if shopped correctly and at the right time)

BB = 3 months were $8 each = $32
Ebay was $37.95 the other day

why would I pay $10 for online for a game??? the game usually costs that hahaha

Yea I am only one person ... that is what many people are ... it's about unity and one less person buying is less money for them. Plus I am spreading the word hoping others will eventually follow. If you wanna buy them do it, however, ultimately your allowing EA to win and causing success from this new scam of making easy $. If we all didn't buy the games other makers would not follow EA.


This idea goes for Ultimate Marvel V Capcom too!!! .. are you kidding me ? this is the same thing! totally BS another $40? they did this with street fighter !!! 3 editions of the same game!!!

have you seen the resale values on EA games? they decline sooooo fast ... y? because of this code and they usually suck (except crysis 2 and some others)


In the end, do as you please.... I know I spend a lot of $ on games .. a lot! I own a retail business .. and I do not have any EA games in my shop at all

Ha. Nice. Not sure why people whine about people who make money for a living wanting to insure that they make a little more and attempting to prevent a company like GameStop making more than they make for their game. Like it or not, new game sales went up with the code implementation.

Debating getting one of these. My Xbox is on the fritz (again!) and it looks like I have no other choice but to replace it. I've never had the red ring issue, but I've had 3 different consoles +1 new disk drive all come up with "open tray" errors. Now that they've been out for a while, can anyone vouch for the quality of the slims?

Yeah, I know, and they indeed were. By Wager Matches, I really meant only Gun Game haha.
And my 360 is banned from Live (bought it that way), so it depends how much of a value it is for single player and split screen. That's why I'll wait for PS3 *possibly*

Does anyone have experience buying textbooks from AWD? The book I need is only in "Good" condition, but I'm only using it for a term, and if it isn't in complete shit condition, I'll be happy.

Oh, and there was an "acceptable" MW3 for 360, with a "large mark" on the disc, I hesitated too much to buy it :(

I bought a like new textbook once, and it was pretty much brand new except for some minor wear
 
mw3 gone. wow tho for 24ish. nice to those that got it. im happy w my $40 new one last week, but that's hot for those that got it
also got my 'good' damaged package ddr bundle, and it was perfect. woot

I'm regretting buying one yesterday, I pulled the trigger because I remembered last getting a BlOps Prestige edition for $60 with the zombie codes. Maybe it'll work out.

Can you return a AWD purchase if you open their shrin wrap?

I've purchased several textbooks from AWD and all of them have been immaculate even if they were only listed as "Acceptable". As long as the description doesn't say pages are missing or something in that nature, you should definitely buy it.

I just returned a game last week that I opened the shrink wrap and removed the price sticker of. So yes.

Thanks for the quick response! Bought the book I needed; there were two listed as "good" one with a description of some wear and writing on pages and the other without description, so just to make sure it has all the pages I went with the first. :D

Edit: Just got an acceptable MW3, for $24, large mark on case instead of disc this time!

My $64 "acceptable" Kinect just showed up. It said there was large scratches on the outer box and case.

The outer sleeve that covers the box was torn to shreds but the box is mint and sealed still. I love Warehouse Deals.
 
I ordered a Mario Land 3DS a few days ago that said it had a cut on the item case. It arrived today with a little dent, but it is still new and sealed.

Would have jumped on a Kinect at $65-$80 for sure.
 
maybe you AWD vets can help me out here, my PS3 crapped out on me, I'm looking for an Uncharted Bundle, saw some earlier for $225, was wondering if that's as cheap as they get? if it's 50/50 i'll wait, but if that's what the standard good deal is, i'll prob pounce next time I see one. any info is helpful. read thru a few pages of the forum but didn't see much info.

I personally do not recall it being any lower.

The only other cheaper option you could do is buy the 160GB PS3 for $160-$170ish i believe, and buy uncharted 3 separate... but i'm sure that extra hard drive is worth the extra $30 or so dollars.

You don't have to play it online and I believe your character has to be in flesh form for them to jump in. I have been playing the game for a few months offline and just went online a day or two ago and no one has popped in.

This is true.

However you can also summon aid.

And in both cases you really won't run into it much anymore, as it's basically dead online at the lower levels.

Do you like bad guys in your games? They try and kill you as well.

You can just play offline or never play in human form( you can stay in soul form the entire game by killing yourself when necessary to do so)

Point is, the game is fantastic, you should give it a shot

Players can't invade unless you have a soul, there is a way to play online (to see everyones messages) and not have to worry about being invaded. If you are paranoid you can just suicide in the nexus every time you kill a boss (killing an boss is what gets you a soul back).
 
If you like RPG's in anyway, I think Demon's Souls is definitely worth a shot. I love the game - I actually wasn't expecting to like it at all (got it for a good trade back then). Then I tried it, loved the responsive controls, and the challenge is just right. What helped me was to read over the instructions in detail (seriously). Simply knowing that a spear will help you in tight spaces can be life-saving. Even when you die, it is still such a fun game - I think you'll also enjoy its world.
