What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Get it and sit on it for a few days and maybe you get lucky with a cheaper one. If not, still a solid deal.

I have picked up a few over time (psn and xbox live cards) and gotten lucky with unused codes. Generally they are dingers as in bend or crease on the card. This one sounded like one as well. However, if it is used, contact Amazon and return it for a refund. It shouldn't be a problem.

How were you able to tell how many were available? AWD doesn't let you add more than 5 to your cart (even when there are many more available), so the add 999 trick to check the quantity available doesn't seem to work anymore. Were there actually 75+ different listings? If so, there may have actually been many more actual CEs available since each listing can have its own quantity.

Hey guys so I've been wanting a Wii U and I have a chance to pick up a 32gb off of craigslist with Nintendoland, BO2, and Monster Hunter 3 for $180 but for some reason I can't pull the trigger. I would be cutting it close with the funds right now and honestly I just see the Wii U dropping even lower in price in the future. What I'm hoping for are more bundles and better prices but I just want your guys' opinion on if this is a good price right now to spend money that I barely have on something that will most likely drop in price later.

If it's in good shape then that's an excellent deal, IMO. Even with a price drop I can't see it going under $200 and you are getting 3 games (maybe more if they downloaded any?). MSRP is still $299 and while we see frequent sales even if they dropped MSRP down $100 to $199 this would still be a decent deal since you are getting it at $20 less and with 3 games. Whether or not you have the funds to make the purchase is something you have to decide though ;)

It sounds like you already know the answer. If you're like most of us, you probably already have a backlog of stuff to play. While your deal sounds pretty good, it's pretty easy to get a used WiiU with some games for around $200 and the price is only going to go down. In a few months from now that $180 deal won't sound nearly as good as it does right now.

If you're dying to play it right now or in the next couple months I think that's a good price. A price drop won't happen till after E3 if it does at all, I honestly think it'll be $250 this holiday for a bundle with a GC and would be surprised to see it much lower than that.
 
Thanks guys, but I think I'll have to pass. I don't have much I can resell right now to recoup the cost really quickly and I'm not itching to play it right now. Great deal, just came at the wrong time lol. If this was before the holidays when I had cash to blow, it would've been an amazing deal. Only thing I really want to play right now anyway is Super Mario 3D World, and I don't think that's going on sale any time soon.

Smart decision. SM3DW is just amazing but don't put yourself in a financial bind. I promise they'll still be there. By then it'll have even better games out for it, and you could be like the couple that went crazy in GS last night that realized you could buy earthbound as a VC title. The girl says WHOA...DUDE...WHOA...DUDE...this is worth buying a Wii U for. I guess she didn't realize there are other ways to play it, but I digress.


On another note my 3DS is out for delivery. I have ALBW on hold at GS as well.
 
Figured you'd all be the experts here but if I put a visa gift card on as my billing card for an Amazon puchase and it's a $50 card, and then let's say I buy $75 worth of stuff will Amazon bill $50 to the card and then $25 to my back-up card or will they detect there's not enough on the Visa GC and bill the full $75 to the backup?

your best bet is to use it to buy Amazon Gift cards

then put the balance on your account and pat with your regular card

 
You may have dodged a bullet with that (A) Shield. The description sounded really beat up. Something like "large scratch on item". I'm used to the: bend / scratch stuff on packaging = dinger, but this sounds like it was traded into AWD in rough shape.

 
My Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures just arrived this morning, and it's in great condition. It's the "Player's Choice" version but everything looks great! Definitely one of the better deals I've gotten from this thread!

Does it work? Since Gamestop dumped a bunch of non-working crap during the GameCube clearance sale last year, I've been wary about buying any used GC products.

Man, you are the biggest spender in every lowball, and you buy from AWD, how do you keep track of all your games? Spreadsheet? Microsoft Access?

 
Just got my first Amazon warehouse item. Super Mario 3D Land. Damn near mint for me, came with the booklets and the club points. All for $25. This might be my new addiction.

I actually just use backloggery.com. Everytime I get a new game I add it on there. I usually keep track if a game is Platinum hits or not by the title. I think it's a pretty easy method and it was very time consuming when I began organizing everything. Although, I'm starting to run out of shelf room for my games lol! I just started keeping track of how much I'm spending on games...which might not be good for me to see haha.

You can't set up 1-click ordering w/ Amazon credit though, can you? Thanks & thanks to those that post some good deals up for us.

uh you go to you cart and it shows how many are left it stock or at least everything I've ever added to my cart in saved for later always shows the number.

Is this an instant thing? I'm trying to put an order in right now and want to turn my Visa GC into Amazon credit -- if I order an Amazon Gift Card via email and send it to myself does it arrive instantly?

it's not instantaneous but it does arrive within about 10 minutes or so from what i've found

Thanks but i think this bundle is a little different as all the bonuses are delivered thru e-mail. No physical vouchers are included as in the 250gb holiday bundle.

 
Here's a new one by me: Darkstalkers 2 just arrived and was in one of those Gamestop style little bags to sort of reseal it and with the AWD sticker on the outside.  Wonder if they did that or someone bought it from GS and sent it in like that?  If they did does that mean AWD didn't even check it or they checked it and put it right back in the bag?

My $18 Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon just came in. The description had said there was 'significant tearing' on both the cover art and the manual so I was expecting something pretty bad, but it turns out the game was sealed new (y-fold, everything inside was in there and pristine) with just a tiny cut on the plastic wrap =D Very glad I took a chance on it!

$18 for Luigi's Mansion is a steal no matter the condition. Im still waiting for my friend to sell me his copy for $20
