What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

I'm a sucker for Collector's/Special Editions and I really want this but I'm gonna hold out. BB's and GS's around me still have this locally so I'm hoping one of them drops the price significantly like we've seen them do in the past to clear stock.


It sucks because there's one listed there under AWD that has the description: "Packaging is damaged. Item is in excellent condition." That's usually AWD code for New/Damaged stock being sold as used. That's the description I always look out for and it's how I got my 4GB XBox360 in Used-Good condition that came New/Sealed.

Great stuff with all the CE's/SE's being posted lately guys. Keep it up... :applause:
 
Today I received my Skyrim Collector's Edition that I got for $64.99. It was listed as "Good - Packaging is damaged, but item is in excellent condition."

The packaging was damn near flawless. Way better than any condition I've seen at BB or GS. Everything inside was completely sealed as well.

My Like New Skyrim CE for $75 came today and it was flawless too.
 
Been using that C4Change thing but no luck yet, if someone sees a PS3 pop up and my checker doesnt nab it, hit me with a PM or something (as if it would even last that long, lol).
 
Really? Strange. I saw 2 pop up within the last week and a half. One of them I passed on, but it stayed there for a whole day. The one I ended up grabbing was sitting there for a couple of hours before I decided to bite on it.

People who bought the like new Halo Reach LE, the trade in for the game is $16.20 on Amazon right now. I already had a copy of the game so I'll trade my copy in.

Might wanna lock in a trade but hold off sending it. The TIV was $22.75 for a couple weeks before those recent deals popped up on AWD (I only know because I locked in trades twice at that price, and that was when it was selling New on Amazon for $30.xx). Then the TIV dropped to $6 when AWD started listing them cheap and now the TIV is on the rise again. I think you might have a pretty good chance of it reaching the $20+ TIV price point again.

I still have a sealed one I got off of a Target clearance for $24 in my backlog (actually paid cash for that though so I woulda much rather got in on one of those cheaper AWD options so that I woulda just been paying with AMZ credit). Unfortunately I missed out. I'm hoping they pop back up...

One of them simply says" item may be repackaged" and the other says "Includes manual, cover art, and case. Full game is included, but bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. Cleaning and repair was done as required. Game data from previous use may be present, but can be overwritten or deleted."

Does anyone know which would be the better choice?

I'm not sure - usually I try to cross-reference with the Amazon Trade-In conditions requirements but none of those descriptions line up with those terms.

the first one sounds like maybe it's just in a new box since the original was damaged and the second one sounded like a generic used description until the part aboput being cleaned and repaired and teh game saves being overwritable.
 
This isn't a warehouse deal, but it is a warehouse price.. so forgive me, but this is the only place i figure i could put it since the thread will be deleted if not.

Those of you looking for the PS3 Sony Wireless Stereo Headset, you can but it new for $59.99 (given you have 1500 ptz) on the Web site that shall not be named lol. I'm sure some of you know which i'm talking about.. ends with a Z

The first one is probably a new item that got damaged, whereas the second is probably a trade in.

I bought a like new one that said "Includes manual, cover art, and case. Full game is included, but bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. Game data from previous use may be present, but can be overwritten or deleted." and it was Mint condition except on the top op batman's head there was a scuff of paint missing. Must have hit the front of the package and paint rubbed off, kinda faulty packaging. For the price of $15 for all the CE stuff after turning it into GS for $34+ i'm happy.

Personally, I always try to avoid descriptions where they specifically state that the item may be repackaged. Usually with Consoles, Accessories, Collector's Editions, etc. this means that someone likely traded in Like New/Complete copies of the item but without the original packaging. When I order Like New, I want the original packaging. So if it was me, I'd take a stab at the second one. It's almost definitely a trade-in, but it'll likely be flawless since no damage is noted, etc.

Just my $.02 cents...

Thanks for being my voice of reason, saw the price and was going to click through but with ME3, Amalur, Dark Souls, Sl shaddai, Deus Ex, Record of Agarest War Zero, and Brutal Legend my backlog is too much at the moment.

If you want it for single player don't get it till the game is like $20. I beat the SP campaign in one sitting. I have to now wait for all my buddies to get this so I can do the fucking co-op. :bomb:

Geez, I wish I only had those games, I have over 70 PS3, Wii, and 360 games in my backlog, sealed. I need to stop buying.
