F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Just bought the last Injustice CE $69.xx :ps3:. Figured since the statue goes for $35-$45 on eBay it makes the game in the range I wanted to spend. Says may come repackaged and of course DLC may be used but was in "Like New" condition, small wrinkle on packaging.
I believe the game requires an online passcode otherwise that's a pretty sweet price.
It does, you might get lucky though
Alright, just bought the Sony Pulse Elite headset or whatever it's called for $100 like new condition.

Any one have any prior experience with these?
Excellent except for one flaw. The Sidetone feature does not work well. Sidetone is what allows you to hear yourself through the speakers when you are chatting. If you don't plan to use them for much chatting, the sidetone won't matter at all. The sidetone is so low, you can barely hear it. This may or may not be an issue for you personally, but I find it annoying because I can't judge how loud I am speaking and the conversation feels unnatural. You can get used to it (as I have), but it seems like a large flaw for an otherwise great pair of headphones.

As a frame of reference, I have the orginal Pulse headphones and the sidetone (which was patched in after release) works much better. I'm not sure why they couldn't figure it out on the newer version. I also have Turtle Beach X41's and XP500's and don't have an issue with sidetone on those.

LBP Vita is a great game, but I wouldn't spend $22 on it unless the online pass was included. The online stuff is great and you wouldn't want to play without it. So basically another $10 puts this game at about the new price. It has been as low as $20 new, so it might be prudent to wait for a sale.

Also, they just released a $5 Marvel add-on pack with Marvel themed mini-games which is pretty nice. Any LBP fan should check it out.

I find the sound quality to be quite good. On PC I get choppiness(?) in the sound when there is a lot of music (like orchestral stuff), probably this is my system as I can't find other people with the problem.

My only gripe is I need extra cushioning on the top of my head or else it really starts to hurt a lot. Easily remedied, though.

Agreed. I already bought the game in October or November when Amazon had it on sale for $20. I just wanted to give others a heads up.
quick question about AWD, if a game is purchased "like-new" but does not come with original box/manual, what is generally the response offered by Amazon? (Ie: partial refund/replacement/etc)
Partial replacement or they push return. If you're on the rumored blacklist, then they only push returns. You may want to consider a return if possible.

I love mine :) Works on PC great, too! The surround sound only works on PS3, but they still sound great with PC. I get choppiness / signal loss after about 30 feet through a couple walls.

As for use with the PS3, the surround sound is great :) I tend to turn it off in RPG games though. The headset itself is fairly comfy, but they could have added a little more padding. Oh well :D

fuck eBay. I kept missing Fable 3 for $4 so I found a "Like New" copy on eBay for $2 plus $2 shipping. I went ahead and got it.

Check my mail today, there's a plain folder with no padding or wrap at all protecting the game. It's from Red Box with the label in the center of the disc, no manual. The case is pretty good though, surprised it didn't get smashed in shipping though.

Oh well.

Don't forget to return by 9 pm or its an extra $2

Report the seller for selling stolen goods.
Report the seller for selling stolen goods.
You don't know if its stolen, if they had it over the 21 day period and got charged the game is yours.
Report the seller for selling stolen goods.
I know Redbox used to sell used dvd's for I believe $7, maybe they sold some of their used games as well. It's a bit harsh to instantly come to the conclusion that it was stolen.

Got my like new super Mario sunshine and like new harvest moon a wonderful life, both discs are flawless and came with everything, harvest moon even came with the original owners receipt from ebgames in 2004

I left Neutral Feedback, they did ship it pretty fast and I don't think they are the one's that got it from RedBox. It did have the case after all. But, idk what their definition of like new was, no manual, a horrible sticker on the disc and some scratches doesn't equal like new

That's right, and that's the reason I believe neg feedback was in order :p

I'm thinking about selling my copy of Earthbound to Amazon. Does anybody know if they require you to have the box + manual for retro games to get the "Good rating" payment? Only thing wrong with my copy is that it has a minor cosmetic flaw on the game, a small dent, but I don't have the case and manual.

Not sure if older games follow the same guidelines as new, but according to Amazon, the "Good" they have this: "The video game, original manufacturer packaging and all original elements are included, but shows wear from normal use"

Here are their guidelines.

How much is amazon offering? Because cart only copies are easy to sell for good money.

Should have left the neg if only to add to the record in case they make a habit out of selling Redbox games (not to mention ignoring the condition to make a sale). If it had a case they could have just swiped an empty case from Gamestop.

Either way they're annoying just for scamming the world with shoddy goods, $1.50 after fees at a time.

Yeah, that's why I'm curious if anybody has traded in any retro games. Retro games are going to be much harder to find with complete sets, so I wonder if they are a bit more lenient on the rules with it. Especially since Good quality says that the game could have names on it.

180 for Good
130 for Acceptable

you get +20 for their current trade in deal, as well.

Cart only is acceptable.

Yeah, it's hard to beat $150 in Amazon credit since you would have to sell for about $170 on ebay to equal that after fees. 100% expect to get the Acceptable rate (and since it's cart only and a little beat up, that seems completely fair).

If you're looking for the cash then the condition might turn some people to other listings so you won't get top dollar, plus the usual worries about people on ebay or craigslist trying to scam you.
Didn't realize Time Crisis is so valuable! Too bad their trade in price does not go crazy like their set prices.

PS2 Time Crisis 3 with Dual Guncons $848 (LN)
I wish that was the real value. I have 2 guncons as well as TC2 and TC3 CIB.

Damn. That's tempting, since I have two copies. Keep one, trade the other to them.

Haven't sold on AMZ before, but in another thread they brought up the Skyrim CE prices on AMZ. Have a NiB CE that's collecting dust that I should probably sell off since they are up to $250. And unfortunately the TiV is still pretty low.

Is it simple like a posted add? Or do I need to run through the gamut to become a seller?

how the hell is the CE worth that much now? usually when these mass produced CEs (multiple consoles too) are clearanced out for $60 or less no one really wants to buy it anymore.

Some people do want it, eventually...and when they are unavailable at every retailer, their value skyrockets proportional to demand. I picked up a bunch of each (PS3, X360, and PC) when Best Buy and Gamestop clearanced them out, just wish I had cleaned out all the inventory in the city. I've been selling them on craigslist for no less than $200.

Pokemon HeartGold was not Like New. It is missing the outer case and Pokewalker. It only has the case that holds the game, cover slip, and inserts. I already got that for less. I'm sending it back. If anyone wants to know when it should arrive back at Amazon, please let me know so that I can track that for you.

It makes me wonder if I can trade mine for a nice amount as well.

$27.02 + tax on the HeartGold, so it definitely was not worth it for me.

I can give you the code for Club Nintendo. I'm not sure if it works, but the insert was included.
