F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Lol nope, but there are 2 in stock for 190.76 each which is better than the $200+ 3DS XL's people have been complaining about. That's not to say there aren't better deals out there, but it's something.
Hilarious. Hasn't even been a week.
every game goes up within a week nowadays. These arent trade ins, these are damaged shipments. WWE 13 is up, Forza horizon was up last week, Im sure well see a few halos next week.
Big release games available right now such as WWE13, Fifa 13, Assassin's Creed 3, MOH: Warfighter, PES13, Code of Princess.
The only afraid is the online pass..since the price is great.

I think they mean how much below MSRP it is moreso than anything else

For release titles chances are good that they are intact. Normally the description is very telling as in "wrinkle in crease", "damaged packaging", etc. I bit on Assassin's Creed III for ~ $36 with a similar description. I will know soon enough if it was worth the gamble since the PS3 version comes with 4 exclusive single player missions via DLC voucher.

ugh, i'm going to buy it right now, but do you guys think there will be a sale on wired controllers during black friday? i could wait if not i'll just take it now. :O

Probably. However, you have a month to return it if you find something cheaper. You can give that as a reason (found cheaper else where) for return to Amazon if you do find one on sale because it will be true.

darn, i think i'll wait on black friday to save some time and hassle. thanks anyways dude! :)

Also, leaked BF ads will be all over the place in another week or two. Look at them or check back at CAG and you will have an idea. It's that time of the year anyways. My wallet hurts just thinking about it.
Thanks for this i've been looking for a Gamepad for My PC and this is a great price.
Why not wireless? Using it for FPS/competitive games? I use a wireless one just for single player games and it works great along with the wireless adapter.

I just plug the adapter into the PC and plug the PC into my TV and play PC games from the couch. Perfect for a console experience with PC graphics.

Otherwise mine are just going bad.

tv might be too far away from pc, but i'm using a 120hz monitor now so it doesn't really compare on my end.
Hmm Virtue's Last Reward came out on Oct. 23rd. Do you guys think its too early for me to expect some to pop up in the AW?
They could pop up any time. Some examples...there's an MOH Warfighter up right now and it just released around the same time. There were Assassins Creed IIIs up earlier. There were even Assassins Creed III PS3 bundles up before the game released. So who knows. They probably wont be very common though for a month or so.

True they dont have the greatest battery life but I dont think it's too terrible either (I might be wrong though). I'd just get 2 sets of rechargeable batteries and switch them out when necessary.

Someone was just asking a couple weeks ago if they could trade this in with just the steelbook and not the big box. Maybe this was their copy.

You missed out there were several copies from $23.00-$28.00 last week. Might be a tough one to get too, because its a niche product. I don't expect many trade ins for ths one.
What is it you like? I'm on the fence with this.
I like the narrative - the serious tone of the characters. Gameplay is good too - if you enjoyed the previous MoH, then you know what to expect. For multiplayer - I like the 'buddy-system' mechanic.

I found the reviews of Warfighter to be bizarre (almost insulting). Sure there is nothing groundbreaking in terms of gunplay. But there is a touching, real story here. I say the word 'bizarre' because these same reviewers are the ones that complain when military shooters have no story, just run & gun. Put it this way - if there were no characters in the game, no story - all reviews would have said "this game could have used some personality, its just some nameless dudes running around shooting stuff." So it's a lose-lose, never happy no matter what. I think it was October's 'cool to hate' game. Every month has one.

I don't get bothered by much - I'm too old and plus I am a firm believer in 'to each their own, play whatever you want - as long as your having fun.' But the reviews seemed just strange.

You forgot Resident Evil 6 ;). Most people jumped on the hate bandwagon, the moment the reviews started popping out. People bitched about the tank controls in previous games, yet still bitched that RE6 had horrible controls and felt like a GoW clone. You can never please everyone.

I absolutely loved the game and the storyline felt better than anything Resident Evil 5 tried to accomplish, again it's always opinion vs opinion in the end though. Which is why I've never cared what reviews say of a certain game, I'll still try it before bashing it.

Absolutely - me too. I'm loving RE6 thus far. People (for some reason) worry about what others think of them if they enjoy a 'hated' game.

Sure, I first started playing the RE series with RE4, so my perspective of the series is less horror-focused, but still. I still have three other difficulties on which to earn completion medals, and then I have to do it all over again with the other character...

I mean, come on, how many games let you break crates by sliding into them?

As long as a sequel "feels" characteristic within its franchise/series (and I'm a fan), I'll most-likely like it, regardless of the reviews. Based on what I've seen from Warfighter, it seems like it contains elements that I like and don't like in campaigns.

I like campaigns in the vein of Bad Company (or similarly, Rainbow Six, Modern Warfare 1 & 2), where at one moment, you could be walking through a village without an enemy in sight, but suddenly get ambushed by a barrage of soldiers with rocket launchers, who appear or disappear randomly; there's an interaction/dynamism in those games, where you always feel like you have decisions to make in how you position yourself and take out the enemy. I also like how stealth missions are integrated in those games; if you screw up, you just adapt and take out the enemies who are chasing you. For those games, you can play through a section more than once, and it won't play out exactly the same way.

I don't like shooters that are heavily scripted or cinematic in the vein of the more recent Call of Duty games, where you're constantly in intense and elaborate, pre-staged firefights. It's like, "Take him out, Mason! (shoot) Run, Mason!"

Anyway, thanks for your input. I'll check it out.

P.S. I like Resident Evil 6.

I have a question. Does amazon warehouse deal always come with online pass for used games that are recently released ? Like FIFA, pes, AC 3
No guarantee you'll get one, personally out of all the used games I've bought from AWD, one has had a unused pass
Thank a lot. How many games did you buy from in total?

I wouldnt bet on anything purchased after the first 3 weeks. I got a fifa for 27 during the gold box last week and the pass was redeemed.
