Well awesome news! Since I got screwed with my 60gb (still have yet to try and fix it), my NFS PS4 works flawless, and is about to go to gamestop for a trade in towards the xbox1.

Yup, it's the HDMI pins or some shit with the HDMI port. I unplugged the HDMI from the back of the console and plugged it back in, booted up the system, and no picture. Only the blue light trying to turn on.

Then I unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the console and gently plug it in with some kind of fuck ing Jedi force push and the PS4 boots up perfectly. Is this worth sending back to Sony or should it be pretty easy to fix?

I wouldn't worry too much about that considering Nintendo makes very reliable consoles. The only thing I may worry about is the screen on the Wii U tablet controller. However, I still wouldn't worry because worst case scenario you can always return it. Sure a slight headache but worth it if you get it for the right price.

I'm always seeing deals for their cheap BSG collection to get shipped here for like $60 so there must be some way (not that it's worth it for that).

I didn't buy BSG from amazon.uk, but I bought The Hitchcock masterpiece collection, the Alien collection, and the Predator collection from Amazon UK. They're shipping to America much much faster now. It took about a month and a half to 2 months for Alien and Predator (years ago), but I think it was only about a week or less before I recently received the Hitchcock collection from Amazon.uk.

Didn't realize this would be the case. I did send a 360 in for repair once but that was years ago. I didn't recall it being this way.

 
There is something wonky going on with Killzone Shadowfall in the UK being almost free. Anybody  here know how to buy 5 in UK PSN credits?

My not for sale PS4 just came in. The box was pretty beat up and it was obviously used but it seems to be working fine. I just did the system update and imported my PSN account without any issues. I just popped in Die Hard since it's the only Bluray I had on hand. I'm going to start running that to see what happens. It's started up fine. Here's hoping everything is good with it. I may just trade it into GS and buy a new one to be safe.

I am bummed that the PS+ and $10 codes had already been used. 

Anyone know how the GS trade in works? The base trade in price is $344. With the additional 50% for trading it in towards the purchase of a next gen console, would they really give me $516 for it?

 
Does anyone think the vita will drop in price on AWD? With new models coming out soon. I want to trade mine into gamestop but bcus borderlands 2 is coming out for it soon I might want to pick it up again. Decisions decisions.

I feel like I did have to ask because I took "50% extra in-store credit when you trade any systems towards a new Wii U, Xbox One or PS4" as that they would give me an extra 50% on the PS4 which has a $344 base. Out of curiosity, why would $397 be the most I get?

That $344 base has a 30% bonus kicked in. If you trade in toward a next gen system the 50% overrides the 30%. The actual base value is $265.

 
Gotta love when an (A) game comes in and is in pristine condition, case and all, and the only thing warranting the (A) grade and a deep discount is a missing instruction booklet that doesn't exist!

Ahh! Now that makes more sense. I could only find things saying that the trade in was $344 and I didn't see anything that said it was not the base value. I thought $500+ was nuts for that, but I wouldn't put it passed GS to not think of a loop hole. I think I may still take them up on their $397 though. Thanks.

 
You know with all of these pending NFS returns if you don't order an NFS over the next week, the chances of getting a working PS4 will drop even further.  Everybody will keep their working consoles while the percentage of defective consoles from the pool will only increase from the returns.  More returns from newly manufactured stock is possible but I imagine Sony has corrected a lot of the launch console problems since you don't hear about the problem anymore.

It was "acceptable" but it disappeared from my cart at checkout! The description said:

Keep it. We are hearing from everyone who got a broken one, and a small fraction of the people who got working consoles. It is probably about 3:1 that it works, and if it doesn't you can send it back.

Thanks to that NFS PS4 I am now the owner of an Xbox 1! Lookout here I come X1 games on AWD! Btw it's $397.50 lol I just traded mine in.
