What is GGT? I think i might know but not sure. Thats where they all hangout in that thread posting random stuff isn't it? Like Indignate, gunnm, whoknows, luxuria, etc.

I finished it a couple of weeks ago and it's more fun co-op than single play, both from the cheap laughs if neither of you platform well (we didn't) and the diversions provided by the little buddy.

Yep. General gaming thread. It's the un-official off topic discussion thread. It includes games (of course) but also goes in the direction of whatever the active users decide to post about. Every now and then it gets nominated for thread of the year. And yep they are some of the regulars of the thread.

Fair enough and that's the part where the ban came into play. I think whoknows is cool. I think some of the new folks probably thought he was serious. If anybody follows the GGT, they'd know that he wasn't.

Doesn't matter if he was being serious or not. Whenever he came in joking around it would throw the whole thread off topic. It's exactly like someone running into an airport yelling that he has a bomb. He could be joking and not really have a bomb, but it will shut down the airport and cancel everyone else's flights.

On another note, I'm just going to keep waiting for the 360 version of Disney Infinity to hit the price of the PS3 ones that keep popping up.

True enough. Those Penny Deals were great. I flipped so many. Now I just need to keep watching for those BD CEs. I want to flip them so I can get a PS4 from AWD.

I've been waiting for the 360 version also. I'm really regretting not buying it new at Best Buy for $38 back in November, but it wasn't in stock online, instore pickup wasn't available, and I didn't have a chance to buy the one in store. If I'm going to play a fun and easy game (geared mainly towards children), then I'm going to earn some easy fuck ing 360 achievements gosh darn it to heck. :shock:

Why has the 360 version been harder too find cheap than Wii, Wii U, and Ps3? The Amazon lightning deals around black friday and Christmas never had the 360 version in stock to begin with. :evil:

Picked up one of those xbox boomerangs for ~$173 after tax. If they take it as good I'll get about $30 and if I'm lucky I'll get more. This will pretty much pay for the Bravely Default CE I eventually get.

Thanks I bought it. I have the wii version and I'm buying Tropical Freeze on Friday. Can someone talk me into cancelling my order because $17.99 is still a nice chunk of change. Am I ever going to find this game cheaper? Or should I just replay it on the Wii. I hardly ever travel enough to warrant a 3DS playthrough but I bet it looks great in 3D.

From the standpoint of my brother just asked me for the game, cancel it! From an honest perspective, no it's a steal. Controls have been modified from the Wii (no shaking) but they're not my favorite since I have to choose between d-pad and circle pad and then I want the button layout of the opposite. The 3D is well done but still not going to compel you to use it for more than a few minutes.

It's the exact same as the Wii version. If you've already played through once it may just sit on your shelf.

...Or...

You could release it back in the wild and put that $18 towards Tropical Freeze.

I may just have ulterior motives though.

Lol. Thanks. If I do cancel it, I'll post here immediately. I see that it's available preowned on bestbuy.com for $22.50 after GCU. It would be around the AWD price during a B2G1.

They got me at GS with the 30% extra TIV when you preorder a game. I preordered Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, planning to buy it and return it for my $50 back. It's gotten such great reviews (as expected), I'm starting to think I should just keep it too.

 
Got my (LN) $296 PS4 today. The box had the blue PS4 sticker over it and the box was kinda I guess 'damaged'. The console itself was still sealed in the plastic and the controller itself had the clear stickers over the pads. So, either it's a new console or the previous owner really took their sweet time to re-pack it to perfection.

I haven't tried any of the codes yet, but from a quick glance, looks good.
