Amazon Warehouse Deals Thread X

Got a new HDD. Booted into safe mode, and now I'm finally setting up my PS4. If any problems continue it goes off to Sony. So in total I spent $320 or I guess $310 with the PSN credit I got from the system.

Bear in mind the PS4 didn't come with a headset, it comes with some crap Earbud with microphone and I could barely fit the Earbud in my ears.

That earbud thing is awful, but it'll get you about $3.50 at Gamestop w. 30% promo and PUR. Add that to the $397 for the console if you throw them both at a Titanfall XBox One (which you can resell or return) and you're a hair over MSRP. :whistle2:0

My last receipt says $1,161, but I've only been a member since July, so hasn't been a full year. I also haven't going to GS in a couple months and I've been banned from trading. I think my savings stops here.

That is very shady... You knew that the NFS consoles are a "glitch" when you placed an order. Yet you have the gall to contact customer service and complain? :roll:

Read through the last 50 pages or so and that's what most of it is. Meanwhile I can barely get them to take care of legitimate problems I've been having the last couple months.

 
Update on my PS4 system.  I borrowed a controller and everything seems fine.  Initially booted into safe mode with message that it wasn't shut off properly, but the system did a check and everything seems fine.  Has a user profile already.  Tried to see if I could contact them to see and find out WTF with the system, but no luck finding good contact info.

Anyway....any recommendations on testing a  used PS4.  I plan on playing a few blurays and playing a couple of games.  I assume the system will get warm due to use, so the plan is to look for anything that doesn't seem normal.  Any suggestions beyond that.

Dumb nerds think that's $399.99 worth of entertainment? I do like that brand new blue truck their mom and dad bought that kid. Too bad the kid didn't know how to steer the tires onto the PS4. It would have made the video a little more interesting.

You don't want to know the insane and demented things I'm thinking I could do in a YouTube video for $399.99. It would be a lot more entertaining than hitting a black box with a baseball bat.

Your legitimate problems pale in comparison to the hardships these NOT-FOR-SALE PS4 owners have had. Amazon is lucky that these owners haven't contacted the BBB yet. ;)

I bet it feels good to break a videogame console. I bet it would also feel good to donate $400 to a charitable cause that you believe in.

I guess some people will do just about anything dumb to get views and subscribers. If they didn't have money, they would be hitting each other in the junk with baseball bats.

 
They probably aren't rich, just on drugs.  The house and cheap clothing aren't what a rich person would have even if it is a new car in the video.

 
Going to cancel my $277 PS4 in a bit. Want my $296 LN set to arrive Monday, I have a feeling GS TIVS will drop more than the $20 I'd save by waiting an extra 5 days.

do you know if the ps4 tiv @ gamestop dropped any since the end of feb? the last ps4 update on the front page of the gamestop thread was around 2/20

I think that's a good strategy. It's not worth waiting the 5 days. I'd pay $20 more just for the "Like New" rating. Also kudos on giving everyone a heads up on the $277 console on the way. I hope a CAG snags it.

I got banned after about six months and the most recent thing I could find was over $2200.

My AWD purchase is in "preparing for shipment" status now so I can't manually add any more AMZ credit to the order. 

Does anybody know if I call CS whether they'll be able to apply my GC balance to my order before it hits "shipped" status?  Or will it be too late for them to do anything for me as well?  TIA

Probably depends just how far along it is but I've been able to get them to do that in the past.
