Shocked that you actually spent real cash on it tough. I would have imagined you would have used your BB GC and or GS GC on them if any were left. Either way, looks like you are competing with cjenvy since he got Amazon CC. :lol:

I don't have any of either at this point. When I get it now the amounts are smaller and I have to have someone with time and willingness to trade for me while there's something good going on.

Yes - they would definitely do that. I would do it unless you have a lot of returns/complaints recently.

Was this NFS unit? If so I would try to test the unit somehow to make sure it works before going for credit route but without DS4 that maybe unpractical since the unit could be a dud. Otherwise yes, you can contact CS and request one and see what they have to say.

Wait until summer (July / August) for your turn for trade fun only because by then I have a feeling your bans would have been lifted from both GS and BB.

Yeah, I would try to get the new controller sent to you. I'm not sure if it would help or not, but I might try calling normal daytime hours to have a better chance of speaking to someone in America. I don't know for sure if that would make a difference. It seems like when I get an Amazon CS person overseas, they just read they're script and aren't willing to work with you on much.

Of course like dealseeker said, test the console as much as possible before trying to get a controller.

That is along the lines of acceptable listing since it can be missing accessories but nevertheless contact them, since that is a crucial thing to miss from the box, and see where it goes. More than likely they will honor it especially if you are a customer in good standing and not Eldritch. ;)

Seriously, even if they're like this guy has a lot of open orders or something you would think with the amount of money I spend there they would be a little more helpful when they bend over backwards for everyone else. Of course it's probably because of all those people using up all the credits by complaining about their $62 USB cables.

DS4, power cable, HDMI cable and USB cable. They might be happy enough to take it with a refurb fee but that will be very YMMV and depend entirely upon the store and how eager they are to take in used PS4s.

Yes, you will need the DS4 controller to trade along with a working console, hdmi cable, charging cable for the DS4 controller and power cord. Without DS4 they will not accept the trade in.

Got my G $61.75 Bravely Default CE over a week ago, forgot to post pictures. It was mainly for my wife, and she really doesn't care about the box, just the stuff inside, which was pristine. The box, on the other hand.

... or complaining about a CE that is going into your backlog / getting played eventually by coming in a day or two late. Telling you they are onto you. I am not sure if you are deliberately trying to accomplish the ban trifecta here since I am seeing you complain, as of late, on a lot of things to Amazon. If I notice that then Amazon surely notices that and probably have a mark on your account for the way I see you being treated by them. If I were you, I would tread with caution and save those complaints for serious gripes. Just a friendly advice.

that part I don't know more then likely total across all platforms cause if it is per platform that would mean there will be 105,000 but either way that seem like a lot of copies made considering how big it is and what the price point is so im confident we will see some markdown probably not far down the road as there are pretty big boxes so retailers who have surplus beside those of preorders probably wont want them taking up valuable floor space long.

I've been coming here to complain instead of complaining to them! Only things I've complained about are things that have been destroyed, are full of profanity, or other actual issues. I haven't complained to them about the shitty shipping, the broken delivery dates, late arrivals, cancelled orders or anything else that's been making me wish there was any other option to Amazon lately. Complained about this stupid CE more than I had in the last three months.

Venting here to us is fine, but it looked as if you were venting to them as well. I should have known better but either way, Amazon seems to have an issue with you the way they are handling your complaints. Maybe this will make you happy:

Today was a good day. Got the 277 VG PS4 from AWD. To my surprise, it was brand new. I swapped for the new DS4 controller, took the headset, and redeemed the $10 credit thing. Traded in my 3DSXL to GS that I got for about the same amount from Cowboom and got more than enough to cover the Titanfall Xbox One bundle plus credit. Imagine if this was the 237 PS4, what a deal!

I have gotten the PS2/Xbox, PS3/360, and PS4/XB1 so it looks like I'm not missing out any exclusives this generation. Sorry fanboys.  :D/

They have not banned you right? I had issues with Amazon a few years ago and got banned along with all of my Prime Student accounts (about 6). I relocated with new CC's and have been undetected so far lol

Avoid being banned if you have Amazon Payments. They can and will ban you on that one as well, which sucks because Amazon Payments is so useful for CC bonuses and manufactured spending.

It is tempting and this GS deal + Titanfall XB1 launch made me pull the trigger. But don't get me wrong. PS4 is by far the best system to get IMO. Great upcoming games. With PS+ and maybe a PS3 and PSV to go along with PS4, it's an absolute no-brainer.

...long story short....don't mess with Amazon when it comes to high ticket items. Or rather, just hope nothing happens to said high ticket items. I got unlucky thrice as far as I remember but had a "few intentional" complaints. ;) That was back then when Amazon was lenient and people were mass abusing the complaint system. Amazon is obviously alot stricter now and lays down the banhammer more frequently, but still a heck alot better than some other retailers.

Free Forza with Titanfall.....that's a slick deal. I bet some people will find a way to get it free too lol

Quick question, I've been trading in quite a few Guitar Hero World Tour games and all of them were getting rejected. And they never ship them back to me in a timely manner. So I always do the chat to get my credit. Will they ban me if I do too many of those? I've gotten the full $41.51 a few times and I'm nervous about getting more.

 
It's possible. I believe every time you contact customer service with a problem and they offer compensation it goes on your record and after a certain amount (it might depend on how many orders you place vs how many times you contact them) they will decide it isn't worth it and ban you.

You didn't miss a ton. I'm going to bed though so it should get better.

It's like $280 and the codes could be used, I wouldn't do it. Better to get a new one at that price.
