No you have to have the console in stock for the trade in promo to apply.

But I would definitely upgrade to a new one given you really are taking a chance that Sony will honor a repair for a used console if your system breaks within a year. My NFS console worked flawlessly but it was worth $35 for a non-cigarette smelling controller  :shock: and the 1 yr manufacturer warranty.

They're able to order some bundles apparently. Took the one that wouldn't eject via the button to GS anyway to see if they would accept it and with the manager's consent sold it to a guy who was going to order one of the bundles from them. So everyone wound up happy.

Now I'm back to waffling on an Xbone.

 
Just checked that South Park I ordered however at the beginning of this week and it says it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow but hasn't ever changed from Not Yet Shipped.  Not sure what to think about that one.

The two I was able to pick up from AWD were in about the same condition. Just traded both of them for wii u's and then returned for store credit which in turn was used on amazon giftcards used to purchase new ps4's. Half an hours worth of work netted me some decent pur points and brand new ps4's for 100 cheaper.

Sounds just like the PS4 I got. Tested a game for like 2 hours and knew it was fine. GS is the owner of it now though :D/

 
Are we able to trade in NFS Consoles? What's so special about them anyways. I found out about them today.

Yes, I'm a total noob but I intend to fix that ASAP :)

Probably not, unless they work. No one really knows what's up with them, except that they're not supposed to be sold and are accidentally being released through a back door on the site. Also, the failure rate is really high, last I checked 7 out of the 10 NFS consoles received by members here are completely broken, one actually in pieces (not sure if that one was a NFS though). You'd be better off not trying for one of them.

Speaking of this, I used to get thunder and lightning confused. Then one day it just struck me like a flash of thunder, LIGHTning...like a flash of LIGHT. And since that day I never confused them again. So proud. I don't know why I remember that but I guess it was like a revelation at the time.

I got my dinger :ps3: DMC HD Collection on Wednesday and it was a borderline dinger. One side of the case was crushed and the shrinkwrap was falling off but the disc was mint. Guess it got run over or caught in something, so no complaints really for $10.

Also I bought a LN Skylanders Triple Pack (Whirlwind, Drill Sergeant, Double Trouble) for $7.20, there was 16 left when I ordered.

I almost bought those too, but then I found out new ones just came out, or are coming out. So I am going for those first. I want the new ones to show up already, only one I have seen was rubble rouser

 
I see, but for me since I haven't beaten Giants yet I figured fleshing out my collection at $2.50 a figure (even though I'll have two Whirlwinds) is still a steal. 

 
How come the "Just Arrived" filter doesn't work on AWD? I click that and the video games filter, but it just shows me the same tired old junk that's always there, like that $40 copy of Skyward Sword or that $35 copy of GTA V.

 
There hasn't been a major restock for a while, so they're there. but there's some kind of weird thing happening because Rocksmith 2014 was added then it was bought and some things shuffled places.

I received the exact same description for my console. Only thing it is the system had some very minor scratches at the top otherwise it looked like it was never used. Was considering trading it in to Gamestop for credit but, I think I will just keep it. Wonder what the real story is behind these consoles ? Are they refurbish, or amazon returns from launch perhaps?

My $254.54 NFS PS4 arrived awhile back. This is how it was listed:

Condition: Used - Very Good

Fully playable game is included; downloadable content (DLC) or codes for online play may require additional purchase. Item is in original packaging, but packaging may come damaged. Item has no cosmetic scratches or blemishes. Item has no cracks or dents. All accessories are present and undamaged.
 
The box was beat up and had packing tape all over it. The console itself looked to be in good condition, no scratches or anything. The white foam wrapping bag around the PS4 itself was torn open. The HDMI cable, USB cable and headphones were still wrapped. The controller, however was missing. There was also no paperwork included. Plugging the console in brought up the initial start-up screen asking me to plug the Dualshock 4 controller into the console via USB.
 
I contacted amazon and they eventually gave me a $50.90 refund so I could go buy a controller. Why they picked such an arbitrary amount, I have no idea. Especially since controllers are $60.   Anyway, after buying a controller at Walmart the total cost of the console ended up being $267.20. I can't complain, that's still a pretty good deal.
 
Once I had a controller, I was able to run initial setup and then download the latest update and everything seems to be running fine. I downloaded a couple of demos and they seemed to play fine and I played a couple of blu-ray movies as well. I had to wait until last night to test it with a PS4 disc game and the copy of Tomb Raider I bought off AWD for $40.34 seems to work fine.
 
Considering how long it took for the X-box 360 and the PS3 to drop down to more reasonable prices I wasn't expecting to get a ps4 for several years, so I'm happy. O:)

Neither used to show it to me, now both do.

In other news the Stick of Truth that's supposedly supposed to be here tomorrow is still NYS but the Dishonored I 1 clicked at the same and is scheduled for Wednesday is shipping now.

why it seem like everyone having trouble with shipping lately? Every awd item I have ordered have shipped same night or next day

If I was paying full price then it would be an extremely difficult decision. I've still got a couple more years of student pricing and there's really no alternative on most stuff since I don't pay tax on Amazon (yet).

I'm still pissed about them not getting my Pokemon until a week after release over the summer. :rofl:
