Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Hedged my bets and snagged a second LN $150 that isn't supposed to ship until after the G arrives. I'll release it if the G is fine and arrives.

Or I can sell/trade one of them here. We'll see.

16gb Acceptable Kindle Fire HD 7" arrived yesterday.  Described as: Cosmetic imperfection associated with regular use. Back has very minor cosmetic imperfection. Device does not come with any warranty.

I don't see any imperfections. Runs well, tested out some apps, played a video, read a chapter out of the 2nd Harry Potter book, holds a charge, so good job AWD. And thanks to whomever posted them.

Since we are all offering our Vita thoughts...

Love my OLED screen. Hate the battery life and really hate the rear touch pads.

Overall, I love my little indie/JRPG machine. Just not enough hours in the day to play everything I want.
airplane mode helps with battery life considerably!

I ordered a couple of vita games on Wednesday because I'm going on a trip and wanted something to keep me occupied and the ETA on them is on the 27th and since its being dropped off at home it'll probably be dropped off late in the day. My airplane leaves the same day at 2pm. Doh!

2 Day Shipping has failed me.

My Acceptable 8GB Kindle Fire with Special Offers came in. Came with the USB but no wall adapter :( Based on the description, I'm missing an adapter. Very small light scratch on the screen that's hard to notice so still a win for half off retail.

How do you guys confirm that your Kindle is the one with special offers?

Some of the Kindles were packaged without the wall adapter, so depending on the model that might have been the case.

Not sure, both of my new ones had a usb only. However, one was a paper white and the other was a regular kindle.

On the "home" area you have the area at the top with books, movies, that sort of stuff and special offers should be on there.
On the far right hand side of the menu bar that you're talking about i see "offers" only. Also I notice there are ads promoting various stuff (like apps, cases, etc) like when i turn it back on or it goes into screensaver mode after leaving my Kindle idle. So it looks like I got the right one?

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. When there's one it will show up in there and on the lock screen. There's also other offers like apparently you can get a not yet released book from a selection for free now and that sort of stuff is in there too.

I have the original and if you hold it in a light a certain way on the backside you can see a "smoothed" out look they might have been referring to that which is usually there.

Cool thanks!

One last question, I remember reading something awhile ago you guys mentioning setting up the special offers notice to notify you via text? How do I do that?

OT - While setting up my Kindle, I just demolished another player on God of War: Ascension after he taunted me with his first kill online. Then he rage quit! lol There should be a rule that you don't talk shit if you don't have the pride to finish out a match. I just had to direct message him a giant "LOL" message to rub it in.

I might be wrong but I've only seen that option once there's one of those hour long deals active and its on the page the offer takes you to.

@eld, how close were you to getting the 5 hour trophy on GoW? Gonna try for the plat when my 64gb comes in but that one seems daunting in the fact that its gonna take 2 playthroughs (mainly because it's been years since i played GoW on ps3 and dont remember anything about it)

Are you talking about the speed run in GOW 1? Its really easy. I did it back in 09 on a different PSN. Just pay attention and learn all the puzzles first play through. Then just run through it.

$3 FFX-2 is up for PS2.

Anyway, first time cooking in my life. Think it went well.

I beat the game at like 3 AM two days ago for my first run and got to challenge 8 but haven't had a chance to play it since. I don't actually think it's going to be that bad on easy with infinite magic. There's a lot of skip able fights, the time resets if you die apparently, and being able to just spam magic should make the long fights quick and easy. If the time didn't reset on death it would be really annoying probably with Kratos the near god and most agile being on Earth being unable to walk across a board consistently.

Yeah, thinking about playing again (ps3 and vita versions). I just couldn't remember the puzzles and things.

Forgot about the inf magic thing, def easier second time then. Wasn't aware of the timer resetting though. And man, I can't believe everyone talking about how hard the planks were. The spiked column was infinitely worse for me IIRC.

Also, can't believe you platted Tearaway. The 3 no death levels will be the death of me.

Those levels in tearaway aren't hard at all. Have you actually played them yet? They sound hard but then you play it and you're like "oh this is easy." You may mess up once or twice but its not that bad at all. :D

It's not that the planks were hard in and of themselves. It's that combined with the camera randomly changing direction on you (and thereby changing your movement direction), the twitchy Vita analog stick, and it just being randomly stupid and inconsistent it just became awful. The spiked box room I got in five or six tries (should have had it in my second but the camera changed suddenly when I went to jump and killed me), and the spiked pillar I got the trophy first try on the first one and the second one wasn't all that bad.

You have to play it twice anyway so you do everything but the challenge and time trophies first, remember everything, do the challenge, then run through it with infinite magic.

So has anyone who ordered a $128 BL2 Vita bundle actually had it ship? I presume megamania got it.
Mine did but it was new.

Are you kidding me?! Look at what was added:

If that's not "that much content", I'd love to know what is!
the 2 new social links don't matter same with the persona. just an added annoyance to getting maxed and like p3p will take even more guide work getting there especially when personas have been shuffled around fusion wise. they had to add in the extra time because its barely possible to max social links as it was.

Not everyone feels like replaying a game just for minor content changes.
