F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition does products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. However, some people have reported that games were in no so scratched condition with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I think most of us use the Amazon.com portal instead of going thru the warehousedeals site.

Search for warehouse deals on the Amazon site, then click on the video games category, then scroll down and make sure that the only sellers that are displayed are Warehouse Deals. Then you can use the system sorter and I find it shows you more games then going through the Warehouse Deals main site.

Hope that helps.
What do you mean by making sure that the only sellers are Warehouse Deals? I got the video games category but then I don't follow
I got that, but then where do you go for the recently added items (video games only)
Just arrived, then video games? It might be on the top.

As far as I know there's no way to search specifically for recently added items. but if you're looking for a system then you should sort by highest price, and the new ones will always be on the first page.

Edit: huh, never paid attention to the top of the page. That Just Arrived button does help. Although the sites all screwed up now and I can't get it to properly list prices from high to low.
Bah! Was hoping it was Zone of the Enders 2 and you just left the 2 out! I have the first but not the legendary second.
(doesn't mention he was the one who picked it up a couple days ago for the same price)

Thanks very much ambu-black-ops for the link

What's a good price for any PS3 sku in your opinion, CAGs? I am going to keep an eye on the warehouse to snag one for my motherinlaw who says she wants one but doesn't need it, sigh.

$214.99 seemed like an awesome number. Not sure if the 120 slims that pop up are always at that price.

Not sure if there's any reason to go for the non slims? Seems like when they pop up they're not at that great prices.
last i checked ZOE could easily be picked up at GS for $2.99 USED
In Like New condition? I'd guess not, since it's an old PS2 games

154.99 :p

Most last gen games I've ordered have come not looking quite like new even though they're listed as like new. Haven't really ordered many, but KOTOR 1/2 and GGX2 Reload came with scuffed up cases (some more scratched up than others, little bits of the plastic torn), KOTOR 2 manual looked like new but had tears and wrinkles on the edges. KOTOR 1 disc was decently scratched but looks pretty good aside from that, KOTOR 2/GGX2 look refurbished when held at the right angles.

So not sure if I've just had crap luck with last gen "like new" or if my definition of like new isn't a common one.

They work fine, and I just wanted to own them again so didn't really mind. Just not sure if Amazon Warehouse Deals is the place to go for pristine looking last gen games. (Sure as hell willing to bet they're in way better shape than GS.)

In general they pop up for around $225 at AW. Good luck getting one though, iv been trying for quite some time. Also the PS3 is out of stock everywhere right now and has been for months.

Do you mean B&M as well? I haven't noticed that at all... stores usually have PS3s when I'm there. I would guess that each region of the country is a little different.

Quick question about trading in games to Amazon. Does it matter if a game has gamestop stickers on the case/cover art? Do they reject games for that?

this isn't the right thread for trade-in questions

but that said, you should be fine as long as the original upc/barcode is present and scannable

Yeah sorry about that. I wasn't sure where to ask. Thanks for the reply though.

I honestly have no idea what condition listed means. Just follow the description under the more info part.

Their plain good/very good/ like new conditions always confuse me. More often than not it seems like like new is worse than very good after I read the detailed descriptions.

Absolutely have no need for a third console and I grabbed that Black Wii Bundle. Guess I should stop entertaining the thought of a psp or ds now.
The $200 one is listed as good though as opposed to very good. does that make a difference with warehouse?
well it looks like the only difference is the 200 has a medium crease and the other ones only have a small.

and has ps3 always been shrinkwrapped?

lol, I bought an Xbox 360 and a PS3 Slim; both will be my very first ones. (I have all the last-gen systems though cuz I'm cheap.)

I've still got my eye out for a DSi XL for my mom. (I'm such a good son. :p)

So I bit on one of the PS3's but this has me a bit nervous

"Full game is included, but bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. Eligible for a warranty provided by Square Trade for open box items. Small scratch on outer case. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy. « Show less "

Why does it say full game included and talk about DLC? Anyone know if this is supposed to be a PS3 that comes bundled with a game or what? Just checking because it makes me nervous that its someone listing PS3 games as systems.....I doubt this is the case but trying to be safe.

Regardless I bit at $213ish I couldn't pass and they claim their return policy is the same as basic Amazons soooooo.

Edit - Its just crazy that many of the systems people are getting here are discounted near $100 for freaking box damage. 90% of the time if you try and buy stuff at Walmart or gamestop the box is freaking damaged anyways.
A few PS3s...
I managed to snag one for $200

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...E7U53NWQ&qid=1278186691&sr=1-1&condition=used
4 left @ $212.xx, didn't bother checking their conditions.

Dying for a 360 Slim...

Wow you weren't kidding about the $100 Wiis...there are currently 4 of them. And $73 Wii Fit Plus...and $35 Lego Harry Potter Wii

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...merchant&qid=1278189406&sr=1-2&condition=used

There were also a fuck ton of new blu rays for damn good pricing...Hurt Locker "like new" $13.99. There were two separate entries for the same quality of it, and the first one looks like it's unavailable because if you try to add it to your cart it just tells you it's no longer available. So I added and ordered the second copy...

Pretty sure it's just a cookie cutter warning they put on all games/consoles/ accessories.

Just quickly browsing through they have the warning on games I know for fact don't have DLC and that Logitech Wii keyboard.

360 Slim I bought the other day had that warning as well, which I'm almost positive has no DLC.

Thanks, I figured this was the case but thought id ask. I guess thinking more about it this is not a person fulfilling this its Amazon. Amazon would know better then to ship games to people that ordered consoles.

the wii is at a very good price but since I already own a ps3 and 360 getting a wii also would be going overboard.

man if i had room i would be all over that wii for 100... but im sure you will be able to get white wiis under 100 soon enough

Why couldnt it been a DSI XL for 89.99
^ Wow one of those ps3s is discounted 100$ for what seems like damage to the box? Lol amazon..
they sold a Sealed pokemon heartgold for 14.99 cause the box was ripped

I agree.

Thanks Guys! I got the 2nd to last ps3 at $212.xx. I had it paid for with amazon credit built up, and I figured I'd get rid of my fat 40gb at Gamestop for $200. Cheap upgrade!

2nd Runner was just an incredible game, but I also liked the first in the way that it portrayed a kid as the main pilot--sort of in a boyish fantasy sort of way. It's just too shallow of a game in comparison to the sequel.

Few new things.

360 Lego Harry Potter $34.99. Shrink Wrapped but small cut on case.

Arcade 360 $121.99. Seems pretty meh with that Target deal on Arcades. Blemish on main unit, box damaged, resealed.

Winter 2009 360 Elite Bundle Lego Batman/Pure $177.99. Only says manufacturer sealed.

Black PS2 Slim $40.99
Open box unit. Cosmetic blemishes on main unit. Cosmetic blemishes on accessory. Minor damage to outer box. Package resealed. No idea what going rate on used PS2's is, so not even sure this is a deal.
