Got my D^3 and man this sucker is heavy. He feels heavier than Bowser, but I decided to weigh them and they're both at 106g. So just shy of 4 ounces.

 
Thought I was in the amiibo trade thread for a minute.

My Dedede, Ike and Mega Man I preordered on December 17th from Walmart.com finally shipped laat night. Meta Knight arrived last night, so I'm done until wave 4 preorders open up.

Dedede must have been the Amiibo that delayed your Walmart order, because Ike was delivered to me on 2/17.

I already have Shulk preordered from Gamestop, still a little hesitant though. I always have this feeling that Skull Kid is more limited compared to the amiibos that may eventually have a restock again? Again, still not sure.

Limited editions will definitely not have restocks especially nintendo...hense "limited". Amiibos due to overwhelmingly high demand and a better chance.

To put it in perspective you already have a shulk on pre-order at MSRP and Falcon/Pit are wave 2 amiibos that were likely affected by the port strike in one way or another, there's at least a chance that they'll pop up somewhere in next month. No one's talking about MM LE restocks at all

 
Woohoo, my 2 Dededes, my Ike, and my Megaman came in. All perfect condition.

Now i just need GS to get my damn Sonic and im done with this wave and can start selling my extras.
 
Tore through 20 boxes of amiibos today. Waiting to open Rosalina, Lucario, Shulk, Mega Man, and Sonic until later. It was actually really thrilling opening them.

Nah, I got two and they were double boxed. Really nicely done. I suspect it just depends on where they ship from and each warehouse has its own protocol.

Nintendo reprinted SM All-Stars LE. Still the only instance I know of where a company reprinted a special edition post-release.

He seems to be the really popular one from the SM series. Sold out pretty quickly everywhere he was available for pre-order.

Well the port stokes just started last Friday so I doubt wave two orders were being as effected as skull kids.
He was originally talking about trading the amiibos for the majoras mask skullkid that's why it was brought up .

He only sold quickly because some people were all like "Toad will be the least produced amiibo in the MP10 line" Then everyone is all "GOTTA GET TOAD!"

If someone said the Yoshi or Donkey kong MP10 was the least produced they would have sold out first

Completely incorrect the port strikes have been going on since last November funnily enough around the same time amiibos even realeased,his theory isnt unreasonable at all although im doubting the strikes severely affected the availability of wave 1 rares but its still a possibility

I figured he sold well because he's the only Toad Amiibo. All of the other ones from that line have a release in the Smash Bros line (and they're all pretty damn common).

Nice try, but either you were too exciting to supposedly put me in my place ... or your reading comprehension is very weak. I have no problem with people buying ONE of each amiibo. I can even live with people buying TWO of each character. If they are carded/loose co-collectors. However, I do have a problem when people order multiple of .... here I am going to warn you in advance so you concentrate .... are you ready - okay a few more seconds for you to focus ........................................... the same character to scalp or "trade". If someone wants to buy one Sonic, one Ike, and one Megaman - more power to them. However, I have a problem when someone buys multiples of the same characters. However, that not what we are arguing about is it. I liked that Gamestop chose to limit people to one of each character even if they had preordered them already. Gamestop had no idea that stock was going to be this low so I do believe they took the original orders in good faith. Now that they are hard to come by, limit them to one a person so you at least make most of your customers happy. Don't see the problem with that. But hey, it's just my opinion. Not like I spend day in and day out trolling a topic to call people socialists or anything. :cool:

P.S. I will go ahead and respond to my other topic cause I have a feeling you "put me in my place" LOL when you read that one as well. I canceled the 1st Ike order before I created the new order with Ike, Sonic, and Megaman. I got no problem with that since it insures more people can get at least one of each character.

This breaks my heart.

The only thing I ordered from target was rosalina and she arrived fine.
Wal-Mart, TRU and all my best buy (who supplied most of my collection) have come boxed and undamaged.
Except Marth who came boxed but looked beat up pre shipping, and villager who came bagged but was miraculously fine.

I did place a Amazon.de order for MTV that I opened for my non display set, and they all were bent up and squashed.

So I'm glad I haven't had shipping problems, but I really sympathize with those of you that have.

At least it's sonic, I bet he's easier to replace.

My bent/torn marth annoys me every time I look at him, but 1/29 is still good odds. Too bad it was one of the most (if not the most) rare.

Ha... not sure if that was a pun or what.:lol:

There is another Rosalina. I just wasn't aware that she was part of the SM line... I thought there was going to be another (a third, along with the SM and Smash Bros lines) for Mario Party since that's how word of her release was broken.

 
As someone who takes amiibo out of the box, I can understand collectors who want to keep them in the package.

Having said that, maybe those type of collectors would be better off joining the fight in store. Clearly most retailers aren't consistent with packaging and shipping. So if you care that much about the packing being pristine or not damaged, go in store. Other than that its the risk you take.

Be grateful you scored an amiibo. There are plenty out there that would love to have said amiibo.

I hope this port strike nonsense is actually true and the market gets flooded like Europe. All the bent box babies will be crying about how the rares are no longer rare and all the figures in store no longer have bent boxes and those with bends will actuall6 be rare! Quick everyone bend your box!

I ordered 5 disney infinity figures from BB and they crammed all 5 in to a box exactly like that. fuck ing annoying as fuck . I feel your pain. I ordered the Sonic Amiibo from Target.com and I still don't even have any tracking information. I'm wondering what the hell is going on. Maybe it's stuck somewhere due to bad weather. I guess if the box is bent to shit, I might as well open it up. I'd like to keep it sealed in mint condition like the rest of my Sonic figures from over the years.
