Damn, wanted one, but due to the $35 shipping limit, had to order three.

I get these will get me a few bucks, but not worth the trouble. What could these be possible traded for? Do they still charge shipping if you go and return a part of your order at a BB store?

An article I read said that they would aim to have more Marths with the rest of the Fire Emblem because they are compatible with Project STEAM, which is out 3/13. So in two months.

 
Marth will be out again sometime new fire emblem hit the store :) so far no new super punch out game, animal crossing, wii u fit, f-zero, kid icarus.

Just rewatched that part of the video, all he said was they will release him later this year for people who weren't able to get him the first time. My guess, Fire Emblem Amiibo series later this year for the new 3DS game, although they'd be very limited IMO.
 
They brought Marth up during the Code Name Steam video though, it makes sense, though NoA likes throwing common sense out the window, that he would thus release around the same time.

I knew the risks but they could have easily said something much earlier instead of just hinting about the cards, that's what I'm pissed about.

looking at the price MM limited edition for the 3ds is making me wonder if I should sell my copy and get the regular edition. They are going for 3x the original price on ebay. I pre-ordered at gamestop and already payed for it.

I want to see the quality of the figure first.. If it's like the Wind Waker one in quality and that high I would probably dump it off.

They're not readily available on bestbuy, you wouldn't make much, if anything, by selling it.

 
My best buy fox order was submitted but best buy sent me a message saying it could not be completed, it is now on back order. I cancel my order or wait and see if they get more in
 
With all of these new figures being added and reprints being done the amiibo market will crash if they don't start making them useful. People are getting burnt out etc. Right now it's mostly collector's buying them, but the only way to keep the interest is to actually make them useful in a game. I don't see them having much use right now.

Didnt they just say they will be bringing Marth Back? they didnt specifiy in what form i dont think so it still possible it might only be in card form since the details werent that specific and they didnt specially say Marth Figure will be back just that marth would be available again later in the year

The great Amiibo resell crash of 2015 is near! Hopefully all the Scalpers will move on to the next quick buck item and leave these little guys for people who intend to use them or truly want them for their collection.

Need to grab a Toad, Lucina, and (especially) Ness ASAP so i can relax.

Considering the convergence of Earthbound fans and amiibo fans, i have a feeling Ness is definitely going to become rarest of wave 4.

you have to delete save data to use it in a different game.  

Just been trying to buy the ones I like, but this further stifles my amiibo interest.

I'm wondering if that just effects the duplicated characters though. It wasn't really clear and this was really the first time it was mentioned.

The best news was that the missing Amiibos will be back later this year.

What do you mean? All figures only have enough storage for one game. Games that just require the Amiibo to unlock something permanently don't affect this.

 
So for example, you cannot use the Mario Amiibo from the Smash Bros line in Mario Party? Or you can but you cannot have both Smash Bros and Mario party data saved to 1 single Amiibo? Either way, that is a little strange for the storage to be that limited. We will buy anyway :)

but you can always cancel preorders. If you wait you can't always make the order, so there's no reason not to buy first and think later

Amiibo are basically memory cards with room for one game. If the game has you save any information back to the amiibo, then it will erase the data from any previous games you have saved for that amiibo.

Also, all smash fighters in the Super Mario amiibo line can be used in Smash Bros, and all Smash Bros fighters that appear in Mario Party will work in that game as well.
