Should be a good freakin show: Eminem, 50, Lil John, Stat Quo, D12, Pit Bull, + whoever else shows up........ 50 will be missing the first 2 shows of the tour because he's finishing up filming a movie, Ludacris is taking his place these dates.

It kicked off in Indiana last night and is in Columbus tonight. Me and my buddy are going to it tonight.:bouncy: I've never seen Eminem live b4 i'm pumped, saw 50 in Cincinnati a couple years ago when he was on tour with Jay-Z so it's not that bigga loss if he aint there.

Anyone else going?

in the voice of lil john: YYEEAAHHHH!

well, not really...i would, but it would get pretty crazy out here in baltimore...but this is one of the only concerts that i'd like to go to....you just can't beat the line-up....well you can go, but realistically...you can't

I almost went cause of that live 8 deal for 18 bucks a ticket, but I didn't really have anyone to go with since most of the people I know don't really like rap. Some songs are good though, others.. well... But I bet lil john will put on a helluva show

$18 a ticket? Damn we got 2 tickets off ebay for $84 shipped and we though we got a good deal, face value is $66.95 including the $9.95 ticket master charge....

I was reading an indianapolis newspaper online about the show last night and they said Lil John was upstaged by his guest Pit Bull that came out half way through his set. ;)

Isn't pit bull that white dude with the diamond teeth? That guy looks like a crack addict and a skinny bastard... lol When you go lemme know how it is. I'm not the biggest fan of 50 cent and I'd be in a huge minority, but it still might be fun for em.

You forgot San Diego on that list buddy :) Anyways, I really want to go but I don't have tickets to the show so I'm gonna miss out on a lot

Nah that ain't Pitbull, that's Paul Wall. Pitbull is a Puerto Rican guy who likes to feature Lil' Jon on his tracks. His latest album is M.I.A.M.I. and he's the guy who made the song "Back Up" on Fight Night Round 2.

no.

this is quite possibly the worst sounding venue in the U.S. you'd be lucky to be able to decipher more than just the beat. the whole sound blends into varying levels of distortion.

I dunno man, I haven't been to alot of concerts, but wouldn't metal/rock just be alot of distortion blown really loud? I think AM3 put together a great list of groups for those that like rap.

Pretty obvious you haven't been to many concerts.

And that artist list couldn't be any worse.
Okayplayer needs to launch a tour.

I'm trying to go to one of those shows. I need someone to go with that can drive. Once I find someone, I'll look for tickets on eBay or ticket brokers.

 tickets are too expensive, plus there's alot of crap music out there anyways. I like gorrilaz but I couldn't imagine a concert. Breaking benjamin would be another band that I would want to see.

As for AM3, those are some of the biggest rap stars out right now. While it's true lil jon sounds alot better when he's producing someone else's music. For a people that are a fan of mainstream rap, that list is stellar.

GREATEST CONCERT EVAR!!!!!

We got there half way through the LiL Jon set and completely missed Pit Bull, Columbus traffic sucks freakin ass! It took us an hour to go the last 10 miles up the interstate. We had left hella early and got cocky and stopped to eat at a sit down restaurant still leaving plenty of time but hell no!

My streak of rain at concerts is still alive, every one i've ever been to it's poured sometime during the night. I'm not complaining though i love hot soaking wet girls. ;)

I got fuckered up and became a whore according to my friend who went and drove. I was dancing, hugging, loving or grinding on every girl around he said. I spent $60+ on beer (dont remember how much $ i took in with me exactly) and my boy bought me some and some chick bought me a beer. I stopped drinking last year except for occasionally some Henessey or something, so i was feeling pretty good. ;)

Eminem was awesome, easily the best live performance i've ever seen. I'm glad 50 wasn't there because Em was on stage for a hella long time. Easily worth driving 275 miles just to see him alone.

concert tickets: $42
half of gas money:$20
t-shirt at show: $30
beer: $60+
dollar i gave a fat chick: $1 (dont ask lol)
being called a drunk whore by your buddies: PRICELESS

I honestly don't think that guest list could be any worse.

I was supposed to go see Breaking Benjamin tonight, but I've got work. Was also going to go on Wednesday, but I forgot. :(

Next concert: 311 in August.

Consider yourself saved from this one.
I wonder what the ratio of white to blacks will be at those shows lol
Pretty much any kind of music played at an amphitheater, besides Red Rocks in CO and the Gorge in WA, will sound like a lot of distortion. I hate sheds with a passion.
i dont see what listening to rap music has to do with thinking you're black
I'm sorry, have you EVER been to any of these concerts? I HAVE (though with quality rap, not 50cent pop rap bullshit) and almost every white person there is confused about their race.

Is breaking benjamin going on tour? Do you know if they're making any stops in washington?

$hady, concert sounded awesome, was there any fights going on after the concert? I'd guess with so many "gangsters" that some mofo might want to start something. That's part of the reason I didn't want to go, crazy ass people...

I've heard that 50cent sucks in concert. Half-assing his shit.

He sounds awful live, well as live as his "new breed" cd performance was... they made him sound so much better in the studio.

That sucks, I ain't driving down there. They did have a concert here earlier in the year, and tickets were only 15 bucks but I had to work. :whistle2:/

I'm going to AM# August 8th at MSG in New York. I got 4 tix and me and my friends are probably gonna party and then have a great night at the concert. I'm very excited.
