Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

The new Berserk movies are weird (but the third movie, yum). I don't like the art style. Its a shame that we won't be getting the remastered blurays anytime soon.

Whoa, I was unaware that so many of you ordered from RACS. If I knew I would've let you all know that it sucks compared to RightStuf. I ordered a series from them back in 2007, and a few of the discs were scratched. So they fixed it by sending me even more scratched discs. I asked for a refund but their communication stopped after I asked for it. I believe I ended up doing a charge back on my CC for that one.

$250 on anime? I'll be lucky to buy $60 worth in one year. I need a better job.

Under $20 for those DBZ Blu Rays are exactly what I wanted. I just hope Funimation releases all the episodes this time around.

Blu-Ray.com only has information for Kiki on their Jul 22 release calendar, but I suppose there is always time to add more.

Ordered my Toradora set through Racs as well. Also disappointed, but don't want to go through the trouble of canceling it so going to keep it I guess.

That aside, finally ordered the two sets of Pet Girl I've been wanting, now to decide whether to order more Section 23 titles, as the $30 price point is my sweet spot haha

"The trouble of canceling it"? Based on my experience and others', it would take you 5 minutes to write up the email asking for the cancellation:

"Hello, I would like to cancel this order."

If anything, cancelling your order would be a good way to send RACS a message about how to (or how not to) raise the price of your order without your permission first. I still can't get over how shady that is. If there was an issue with the coupon accidentally working with a product it wasn't supposed to apply to, just email the affected customers about it to clear things up as soon as you notice the mistake. How hard is that?

Why not just do a chargeback if they don't honor their quoted price? I have the order email with the total. I'm sure my credit card wouldn't be happy that RAC is charging more than what they quoted.

They are making 11 1-hour episodes with some edited/new content to retell the first series I think.

that sounds about right... it starts in a week or two as part of the summer anime season, and this fall will be season 2 of psycho pass, and then some time next year is a movie that should continue on from season two...

Hmm, I liked Accel World. Then again, I'm a fan of shallow shonen series. Can't think of one I didn't care much for in recent memory aside from Bleach. I'll probably wait for it to go on sale again because it may get cheaper when TRSI does their Christmas deals. I'm in no rush to get it since it did end on an inconclusive note and doesn't come with any LE goodies.

I think AnoHana for $43.99 is certainly worth it. It's only 11 episodes, but it's definitely one of my favorites and I would highly recommend it.

I liked the first half of accel world, but I find the quality drop off for the second half of accel world to be way way way way way way way way WAY worse then the quality drop off in the second half of sword art online. At least I could still find some enjoyment in sword art online, the second half of accel world just left me angry at the terrible writing in general :/

That being said I wouldn't mind another season of accel world.

I really dug Psycho Pass last year. Glad to see that we're getting more of it throughout the summer.

Even if it is, I think it'll be easier to find for cheap compared to the series sets since I recall seeing it for sub-$15 at several places.
