CAGiversary!
Pm me the name of the game and it's list price

I will pm you the price that i can sell it to you at.

please allow 3-5 days for a reply

if you like my price and are absolutely sure that you will buy the game then send me the shipping address and i will reply with the billing information.

it will take a few days after the money has arrived before the game will be shipped. This is due to the fact that I first have to buy the games from a friend at microsoft.

i can also get a deal on most all microsoft computer software.

sorry no hardware.

Im not the one who works there so that doesn't matter to me.

besides how are they to know who it is that im buying games from
Doesn't Microsoft frown on this sort of thing. Something about grounds for termination or some such.
Abuse of the company store is grounds for termination, yes. For any of their software products & games.

then it sounds like the OP isnt really a good friend of this guy if he doesnt care what happens to him

"Pssttt....Wanna buy a Xbox game? Nevermind you where I got it from, do you wanna buy it or not?"

Hmm..the OP has no feedback, is a relatively new user, and wants CAG users to send him money before he ships. Don't say someone didn't warn you!

all profits are split 50/50

they are the ones who first suggested the idea.

i find a buyer
they buy the game
i send the game from my address, so if they were to follow a paper trail, unlikely, then it leads back to me
that way they stay anonymous, thus keeping their job.

Explaining the scheme to us doesn't make it any less shady.

I can see it if a Microsoft employee wants to help out a friend by getting him games at reduced cost (although that is still, technically, abuse), but to make a side-business out of it is clearly a bad idea -- that is, if your friend wants to keep the job.

i don't see what is so shady about it

"im just a poor homless child living on the streets. luckily someone who was connected to microsoft pulled me out of a dumpster where i was gathering dinner. and gave me a chance to earn some money, what would you have done in my situation."

THE STATEMENT ABOVE IS NOT TRUE

I'm just doing this because i could use a couple extra bucks on the side.

if you don't want to buy anything thats fine. i won't try to force this on anybody.

but still i realize that this ranks right up there with candy from strangers.

sorry ill have to go.
ill be back on tommorow.
pm me if you feel like arguing the topic further.

Guilty by association. Neither you nor your supplier should be abusing MS discounts and employee reward programs.

It is illegal? Depends.

Is it shady and unethical? You betcha.

i'm curious as to what kind of profit you have to clear to rationalize getting canned from Microsoft. Imagine your next interview.

Steve Jobs: Mr. Dumas, can you tell me why you were terminated from Microsux again?

Mr. Dumas: Well me and my buddy had this wicked deal going down. We would resale games using my MS discount. I got caught buying 18 copies of The Guy Game for other people.

Steve Jobs: ...and how much were you able to clear per game?

Mr. Dumas: Enough...How much of a discount did you say I get on iPod gear?

Too shady.

In this community, it is considered,"bad form" and we do not allow discussion of it here.

Thank you.
