Was thinking of buying a few xmas gifts from there. Seems like a good site but have never had experience with them. Any feedback is welcome.

They are awesome!! They are located in VA. The trading system is great, you order sumthing they send it to you first and then you ship your trades back. They are pretty goog. I have been using them for a couple of years now.

They're excellent, if you do tradeins, make sure they're in good condition, they're picky. Which results in their games being in excellent condition when you buy from them. Their prices are fairly standard with the occasional deal, usually out of stock most of the time. New games are below MSRP but shipping evens that out.

thanks guys. the prices aren't that great but they have a few games that I can't seem to find anywhere else (custom robo).

I live near their actual original store. Been going there since they first opened (I think 12 years ago or so). The funny thing is, their prices are higher in store than on their website and the trade in prices in store are lower than on-line. I used to find a lot of good deals at the store but since they've been on-line, it's hard to find any rare games at the store for a decent price.

More on topic, I'm pretty sure they're reliable. Definitely not a fly-by-night just opened type of place.

They're reliable, just how everyone that's posted before me have pointed out. And some of the prices for their trade-ins are great (well, better than EBGames and GameStop).

excellent, traded in lots of games an various occasions and ther online customer service is very helpful...i just wish they had every release for the ds available as they come out....

I haven't bought much from them, but the used copy of RE:Gaiden was complete and mint (and sealed, although I've heard that they reseal used titles).

I ordered a *new* copy of it a few months back (OOS), and they *called* me at home to see if I wanted the used one, which was significantly less. THAT is customer service.

I've only dealt with them once and after that experience, I don't think I would do business with them as much as I would have. I pre-ordered Trauma Center and it took them a week to process my order before they shipped the game to me. TOO SLOW. They never contacted me about why it was taking so long.

When you do trade-ins with them, how does it work? Do you have to send out your items and your own expense or do they supply you with something to ship the traded in games back to them?

This page explains how you can do it, in two ways: http://www.estarland.com/index.asp?page=Help&section=Tradein#start

You can either purchase your game with instant credit, and then send your games. Or you can send your games first, and then they'll refund you 10% of the total trade-in value (to make up for your shipping expense).

i have been havoing trouble with them sent my games in 2 weeks ago they have not updated and when i sent them the tracking number and order number they say they will check and never get back to me i am kinda pissed with them

Did you send it media mail? It can take up to 30 days for the package to be delivered by USPS. That is not their fault, its the post office.

if you do instant credit do they charge your credit card the amount of the used games, and then refund you upon receiving them?
I read the help section and it said something about them "pre-authorizing" the amount. I wasn't sure if that meant that amount would be charged, or frozen, or whatever.

Yeah their trade-in system is pretty good. When Gitaroo man was rerpinted, they were buying them for $60 I think, and being that you could buy Gitaroo Man from Barnes and Noble.com for $38 shipped, I was going to buy a couple and send them in to get hyper duel for about $100. Didn't go through though, since I didn't get the games in the mail in time to make the postmark/sendoff deadline. Oh well. Anyway, sometimes theyget good stuff, they had Suikoden II for a while, might have some.

i had brought a Lunar DS game used ($20) and it came sealed and in great condition, probably could have passed as brand new...

i placed an order with them on wednesday. paid with paypal since i sold some junk on Ebay, but the money is still "unclaimed",

does it usually take them this long? I found a few more games i wanted to order from them, but since they have yet to process this order, i just ordered them from somewhere else since i need these by christmas.
