After the bullshit I had to go through to get the $10 off from the Darksiders promo, I'm going to stay far away from these GS "deals". Not like I needed another reason to dislike GS, though...
 
You can actually use this deal on ANY game 49.99 and up. I am getting Borderlands used for 34.99:) (with an Edge card also)
 
Edit: nvm i'm retarded... i thought that deal was only for 2 day shipping, not for $10 off AND 2 day shipping... good find... btw that deal only works for first 1500 customers

Probably won't come with a valid code. There are 2 exclusive maps for MP and Rush is being enabled on a third exclusive "VIP" one on the 30th.

Just FYI. This is a better deal than when I bought it even with a $25 GC
 
Please don't factor the $10 "giftcard" into your decision-making. The $10 coupon is very limited in its use. It does not stack with any other offer, ie. 10% off new, cag16, etc. I still have my $10 coupon from my Darksiders purchase that I have yet to find a use for. I wish it was a $10 gift card instead.
 
Just want to give an update on my purchase, I ordered it yesterday morning and my package arrived today! Also, got my email for the $10 online coupon, so all in all I paid $50 for LE Bad Company 2, $10 coupon, and next day delivered, thanks again OP!!!:applause:

Sharkey1337, is it a $10 gift card number or a coupon code for $10?
 
He doesn't, as there is no confirmation yet on those versions people are receiving.

Besides, I think this might be dead (can't get it to work on the PC version at least).
 
Yeah there is no confirmation that you'll be getting the LE, but the copy I recieved today was the LE. And the coupon is indeed expired as it had a limit of 1500 customer uses.
 
I got my copy today and it was not the LE. I'll be returning my copy to my local store. I should have gone with the amazon deal.
 
Mine arrived today, and it does not say Limited Edition on the front cover. Went to the store with my receipt to exchange it to LE, and the manager said, "that is the Limited Edition". I told him I've seen the case with LE written on the cover, and he said he 's never seen anything like that and as far as he's concerned, this was the LE. oh well..
 
Actually, I looked at my email confirmation again and it does indeed say Limited Edition for my shipment, seems I got one of the last few copies before they switched over to the regular editions. So if it doesn't say Limited Edition in your shipping confirmation email then you're not getting the LE.
 
Same thing happened to me - ordered the limited edition, got the standard edition. I'm returning to my local gamestop today for credit (hopefully I won't have problems). I'm going to jump on the Buy one get one deal and grab something else...

When I called my local gamestop, they said they would trade as long as the game wasn't open. Except they didn't have any copies of the limited edition in stock. :cry:
 
Same thing here, +2 more of my friends. All of ours say Limited Edition on the online order summary. We all received normal editions. I just went to my local store and they were willing to swap it out for LE, but there wasn't any left...so I returned it. Now it'll be interesting to see if they yank the $10 "coupon"...I probably wasn't ever going to use it anyway.
 
Wow, seems like I'm the only lucky one on here who got the LE with this deal. But why are you guys returning the game? The LE only gives you early access to 6 unlockables you can attain, there's nothing exclusive in the LE!!!
 
Is the LE disc different from the regular disc?

I got my LE in the launch week but hadn't had the chance to play it until yesterday. Fired it up and entered the VIP code in the game store. I thought the VIP code unlocked the 4 LE weapon/tank armor things but looked like it actually unlocked 2 new maps instead. When I went to multiplayer the LE weapon/tank armor was there. So they were not unlocked by a code or something, which leads me to believe the LE disc is different from the regular version. Otherwise, how else would they distinguish between the LE and regular if there is no unlock code involved?

Well, I emailed gamestop.com with copy of my email confirm, and I basically told them I was very disappointed that they didn't deliver the correct item that was actually sold to me. They apologized for the inconvenience and gave me $20 off online purchase credit code. so I paid $54 after tax and got $10 and $20 credit from this. Oh well again..
