Battletech Miniatures

I've been scouring the net trying to find some cheap plastic ones, or at least a version of the game that comes with them, but alas it isn't going well. I'm going to go to a hobby store soon, but does anyone know of a good way to get these things cheap?

The cardboard cutouts that come with it are more than a bit lame.

Look for Citytech 2nd edition. It came with pretty decent plastic miniatures. It was hard to find even before Wizkids got the license. I recently sold my opened copy on ebay for about $40 (I only spent $30 on it years ago).

I suppose that might be my only option other than that newer Mechwarrior miniature game. I believe that one of the older editions of Battletech had the plastic pieces as well. I also found that they are releasing a new introduction box set that will also include plastic pieces. Such a shame that they never sold plastic ones seperately, I would get them in a heartbeat.
