Best $5 PSN Game?

Putting $20 into my PSN account later. I'm going to purchase Joe Danger, leaving me with $5 left over. What's the best game for that price?

I already own the following:

Burn Zombie Burn
Hustle Kings
Greed Corp.
Frogger Returns
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Flow
Zen Pinball
 
if bionic commando rearmed is still 5 go with it. theyve got some solid ps1 games like re2 and re3 or silent hill but i think theyre 5.99. you can get some good dlc for 5.
 
Noby Noby boy is 5 bucks. So are a fair about of Minis (though most are grossly overpriced, like Tetris).

Wolfenstein 3d is 5.
Rampage
Mortal Kombat 2


I'd probably just look in my most recent and sale areas of PSN.

Yeah, I checked out some videos on Noby Noby Boy and it looks like you just kind of...do nothing. You just stretch around and knock things around the world. Looked lame.
 
I'm kind of hooked on PSP/PS3 minis. I love bite sized games like that. I recently bought a mini called VT Tennis, and it's surprisingly good for the money once you get the hang of it. It works on the PSP and PS3.
 
You good at MK2? You better be because if you get that game and play the online, you better be good otherwise it's going to be the most rage inducing fighting game you've ever played.
 
I would probably say gunstar heroes. It's like contra on steroids. The game is short, but a very good game to play through at least once.
 
I thought Shatter was $5, but it's like $7.99

IMO one of the best games on PSN, and by far the best of the 'brick-breaker' genre. Unbelievably good soundtrack to boot.

Actually in Noby Noby Boy you have to eat different things in the game world and then you crap 'em out and they're combined together.:lol:

Weird game.

I would suggest Mortal Kombat II if it's still available on the store though. You can't beat a classic fighting game.:D;)
 
The best game i got for 5 bucks was bionic commando rearmed and flower but i waited for a sale on those. The best game i got for under 5 bucks was critter crunch when it was on sale. Mortal Kombat 2 is good and the best current 5 dollar game i could think of but i never trying playing nobi nobi boy. I have about 13 psn games and only paid full price for like 3 of them while the other 10 were 25 to 50% off. I still think wipeout hd plus its expansion, and zen pinball are worth full price.

He should lose his title of cheapest gamer. Several of my friends still play the ps2. :nottalking:

Should I regale you all AGAIN with this long story? I sold all of my PS2/XBox titles(100 titles or just about) I had from last gen for $450 shipped to another CAG. I also flipped some DVD boxsets I bought for $4 each for $16-20 each at FYE at about the same time, which added another $100 or so to my PS3/GTAIV fund.

Thing is, the bulk of the PS2/Xbox games didn't cost me anywhere near what I got for them, so I made out(and the CAG who bought them got some sought after titles in the lot besides all of the duplicates I had).

I actually paid MSRP for the PS3 and for my copy of GTAIV AND the guide for it(a guide which just recently FINALLY pennied out at numerous stores), so maybe I wasn't a cheapass in buying the PS3. But considering what I paid for those games/dvd's originally I doubled and in the case of the dvd's quadrupled(or more) what I paid for them, so I still felt like I got a deal.:D

Because it was more reliable than a 360 at the time and I didn't want a Wii.

As for my 'anger and rage' it's focused 90% of the time at the stupid fully mandatory garbage updates with all the fluff in them. It's junk I don't need, it takes up my GAMING time and did I mention it's junk I don't need or want? Gimme the bug/glitch fixes for the system, shove the junk the 12 yr olds on the PS Blog keep whining for and Sony keeps giving the lil ankle biters.

Voice chat-useless to me, lemme delete it
Facebook crap-again useless to me, lemme delete it
PS Home-boring
4-6 PS Store icons-clutter for the XMB, lemme delete the extras

and so on and so forth

And like I said in my prior post, if not for getting so much for those older PS2/XBox games which I paid nowhere near what I got for selling them as a lot on here I would NOT have bought a PS3 yet.
 
So $5 games! that's what we're talking about right? Trash Panic is really cool, one of my favorite puzzle games this generation but extremely difficult.

Actually, I also bitch about paying over $5 for any downloadable game from PSN too.:D I also bitch about the higher prices for peripherals this gen($55 for a fuckin' controller specifically:bomb:).
 
I really enjoyed Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess. It was a lot of fun, but the story mode is very short (less than an hour). However, the point of the game is getting the high score by touching all of the platforms and getting all golds so you can unlock an extra level. That took a bit longer.
