As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

NOW, it is. BEFORE, it wasn't. They changed the policy in the past week. Before, they were treated as the same title. (similar to how Ghost PS3 and Ghosts 360 would count against the total of 3 prior to the change)

This is correct, Best Buy WAS counting those games as the same for some reason, which was kinda dumb. So it's a good thing that it kept getting brought up because now it's fixed.

 
no, it wasn't. Enuf conflated the TLOUs, the Tomb Raiders into the Pokemons. 

edit: notice how Aaron doesn't say "Pokemon X and Y are NOW considered different titles." why? cos they were always different titles to begin with!

But on 8/5(BEFORE THE RECENT CHANGE) the same Aaron also told us that they WERE in fact the same. Notice how he doesn`t correct me when I say Pokemon is the same & doesn`t single them out for the OP even though the OP directly asked about Pokemon.
That`s also why in the link you oosted Aaron directly mentions my question in regards to Pokemon.
 
I am thinking about returning my copy of TLOU Remastered and getting in on the Target deal this week.  When I placed the order on BB.com, I also ordered a 360 controller on sale and used a $20 certificate.  How much of a hassle would it be returning the game and would I get the cert back?  Or does it not matter since the game was pre-ordered and the 15 day return policy (I dont have Elite or Elite Plus) would not apply anyway?

100% yes, confirmed on 6/20 but you still have to pre-order to get it. However, just putting $5 down on the game itself linked to your BB account & purchasing the console during release will allow you to not have those funds locked up.

So just to make sure, even with the recent change to GCU, this is still one bonus per RZ account, even if I would preorder the same game(Madden) for two different platforms, correct?

So my best bet would be to use a second RZ account for the second preorder?

Next time you pre-order look at their screen and ask them why the pc is instructing them to ask you how much you wanna put down "$5 or another amount"

Yep, 2 accounts needed, this is one fight I backed down on after awhile since it`s free for the 2nd(pre-GCU 20% though) I think the excuse given was supply issues.
I`m like Duh you`ll generate more pre-orders thus more sales isn`t that the goal

Yes, unless you have GCU, in which case I think $12 off the top is better than a $10 reward certificate. Unless there's something I'm missing?

Awesome, my store's doing a midnight launch.  Took the off Mon-Thurs that week, so I should be able to get there early enough for a shirt.  Thanks for the heads up!

 
Might go to get the free shirt and pick up the preorder of the standard version I have.  Will probably return it though since I have the Limited pre-ordered elsewhere.

 
My Best Buy always sets aside the midnight swag for me so that I never have to show up for these midnight launches.  Leaving for my day job at 6:30am makes it too hard to attend these anymore :)
 
I'll probably preorder and then trade the game on release as I want the bonuses. Already getting a cheap copy from the MS STORE trade promo a while back

So, am I wrong in remembering, but I thought you could use rewards certificates to pay for the initial pre-orders. Last night i went in and they said no, I could've sworn I've done this before.

You definitely can on the site, not sure about in store. Should be able to apply it when picking up the game though.
 
Anyone have trouble using the mario kart $10 in store ? I got denied today trying to use it to preorder madden because they couldn't make a carbon copy of it :/

If you mean that "Gas Card" then I've heard a lot of people having issues using those in various stores. Best bet is to order a Gift Card online with it then use that instead.

 
Glad to see that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is on the list.

Gotta say, I wish Best Buy would sell digital games / codes so that I could get the benefit of their great GCU prices and have the game permanently on my hard drive (no disc needed).  For some titles - that I know I will trade in later - having the disc version is preferable.  But I'm going to keep this definitive Halo and want it on my hard drive for ease of access.

Why can't Best Buy make that happen?

(I would've bought The Last of Us: Remastered day 1 if that was possible.)

They probably pay less for games they physically sell in their stores compared to what they would pay for a digital copy of a game. I know Amazon does that but they don't offer 20% off.

 
Was there ever an official announcement whether the white ps4 destiny bundle comes with a physical or digital copy of the game ?

If you look closely at the package contents to the right. It says "Destiny Blu-ray disc". I'm going to assume it will be inside a cardboard sleeve like previous PS3 Bundle games.
