If you had a $15 Kmart gaming coupon, this was $5 on BF (on sale for $19.99). I picked one up. Obviously you only can get it for that if you have a time machine but I thought I would mention it.

Campaign was excellent in this game, didn't even touch the multiplayer(as is the norm for me). I went into it expecting to play one chapter day day, did so for two days, and than wound up staying up until 1 a.m. finishing it last night. I wish more shooters were like this game, good story and buttery smooth controls... I absolutely loved the cover mechanics.

*EDIT*

There are some choices you have to make in the game, so it's probably worth a second playthrough as it also appears to have two separate endings(there are also trophies/achievements for the different choices). Depending on how good you are with shooters, and if you spend any time looking for intel, I'd say it'll run you between 5-7 hours. I wanna say I finished in about 6.

Heard spec ops really made you 'feel' the whole being in war setting. Read it in multiple reviews, sounds like a decent sleeper solo campaign.

Spec Ops was great fun. That being said, I think it's worth no more than $20 just because of how short the campaign is. I didn't touch the multiplayer, so I have no comment on that.

Spec Ops is wonderful. Just started playing it today and I'm not disappointed at all. Clean, great gameplay, gripping visuals and dynamics, and it really captures the feel it's going for well. As for the multiplayer, haven't heard anything good about it. It's one of those tacked on, obligatory MP modes.

But I grabbed it for $5 on the PC, so it's a lot easier to praise a $5 game than it is to praise a $25 game. The graphics on the PC are reasonably prettier too.

I think I'm going to stick with it for the next couple days and see if I can finish it if it is so short. Really want to pick this up for a buddy for x-mas, may do it, if it was $20 or less, definitely would..

It's just OK. Probably would have been better as a rental.

I paid $15 for it, but I think I would have liked it more had I paid $10.
I wouldn't recommend it for $25.

I just started playing this on Friday and got into a few levels on SP. Great game. I normally dislike cover/stop and pop games but for some reason this game is fun, probably because it is fun to play with AI teammates that actually can help during a fight but doesn't do it all for you.

I've heard great things about the Spec Ops TL campaign and am sad I missed it for $15 on Black Friday, but no way I'm paying $25 for some crappy DLC. I'll wait for it to go below $15.

Just to jump into the BF conversation, my 360 copy of Spec Ops was the premium edition with the FUBAR pack. Got it for $15 on the lightning deal. My guess is this will depend on the stock. Much like with the Darkness 2 Best Buy DOTD a few months ago. That was $10 and ended up being the limited edition. It's whatever the warehouse has sitting there. In store pick-up could be harder, depending on what you've seen on the shelf.

I have a gut feeling that this year will not be nearly as good for cheap games like last year. Partially because they were closing out that one warehouse at the same time which, if I recall correctly, is what caused the games to be so cheap.

Damn there are some quality TV shows in there. I could be in for a lot. If The Wire drops below $60 I recommend everyone snatches it up. I bought it on Amazon awhile back, but ended up with a bootleg copy that I settled for. Will buy the real deal if its cheap enough.
