Hey guys-

Long time reader, first time poster. A wave of nostalgia for the N64 has brought me out of hiding to ask for some advice on how to find one. None of the Gamestops in my area have any, and Ebay and the like seem to be a bit expensive ($40 + with shipping). Any suggestions on cheaper options? Does anybody have one they'd like taken off their hands for a reasonable price?

Thanks very much.

Try thrift stores. Although you are unlikely to find one w/ the jumper pak in the system.

I can sell you a working N64 system w/ jumper pak, 1 controller, power cord and AV for $30 shipped if you don't see one elsewhere.

Garage sales, fleamarkets, thrift stores, etc. Or ebay if you cant find one anywhere else. A few Gamestops still carry accessories for the 64, so you may be able to find a expansion/jumper pack and a controller or two.

It wouldn't hurt to check your local craigslist.

I've seen N64s in stock at a couple local GameCrazys. I can't remember how much they were going for, but they weren't cheap.

GameCrazy if I recall has the N64 priced at $40. Classic type accessories seem a bit pricey there. At least the classic games are cheap.

I have a N64 and havent even plugged it in yet. What is this jumper pack and how do I know if I have it or not? Where is it located on the console?

You should have the Jumper Pak if you haven't messed with it as the Ram Expansion Pak is a user option.

N64's are really common, if you go to yard sales you will likely run across one or more, also check thrift stores, but consoles from there can be in really bad condition so be careful.
