Ok, I think I might be getting a PSP soon, just wondering what Wireless router has the best compatibility with the PSP?

Currently, I have a wired D-Link router which I just use for my XBOX. What would be my CHEAPEST option, to buy a NEW wireless router, or just as access point to connect into my wired router? (I will probably leave my XBOX hardwired, since I already have the cable ran...so I would like a router with ethernet ports still)

Is there anything SPECIAL to do after you set-up the wireless network?

Thanks

well psp is only 802.11b so it wont be too expensive. Most wireless routers have ports in the back so that shouldnt be a problem. Just look for a deal on a wireless router and thats that. I suggest linksys, but other brands are fine too

Do all 802.11g have b access also? I would like to get a router that I can eventually hook up a laptop and XBOX 360 (maybe) to it.

Yeah,... Best Buy is currently having a sale on PC accessories.

10% and 15% off 2 and 3 items.

Pick up the Linksys with Speed Booster. It covers all of your gaming and networking needs.
I play my XBox with it, my laptop,... and when Wipeout Pure finally uploads the components,... I'll play my PSP.

The setup is minimal.

I talk via web cam, wirelessly, on my laptop, from here to NJ, and there is no unusual lag, for ADSL. :(
I get a steady 54Mbps while browsing the web on both of my computers, and talking on the web cam. Also,... I walk around the house alot while talking,... and my house is HUGE. The signal is all good.

Check out the sale.
:hot: Free shipping too.:hot:

Thanks....I don't know if I really need the speedbooster anyways....I currently have a D-Link wired router, and my XBOX worked fine for it on AUTO.

That's cool.
I think it was $10 more, and then there was a rebate.

I use a couple of online items at once, and I move around a bit, at varying distances,... that's why I opted for it. The guy at BB told me I really didn't need it,... but it wasn't to expensive.

:)
Anyone use the D-LINK DI-624 wireless router?

Amazon has it for $64-$20 rebate
I have, it works just fine with PSP. I use a D-Link at work and a Linkys at home and they both work with PSP with no problems.

Just set mine up with a D-Link Wireless router. Now I just have to wait for games that use updating or a PSP system update to make use of it...
