So I happened to find a list of their games that they are giving some good money on, I guess to compete with Gamestop. Here is a copy of the list. I dont know if you have to trade in more than 1 game to get the deal, but thought others would be able to chime in with their experience. Of note is the hot shots golf trade in for PS3 (if you were able to get it from the sears clearance).

which is handled by the same processor (Dealtree) used for the Best Buy program. In this case, though, you can get PayPal payments instead of Best Buy gift cards. The trade-in values and processing methods seem to be exactly the same.

UPDATED: since it keeps getting asked

1. Can I take them to a physical store?
Games need to be mailed in. If you try to do an instore trade from the website it will redirect you to mailing it in.

2. How many days do I have to mail it in?
30 days from initiating the trade. Mail it in ASAP as the processing time until you get your money differs and could be a wait.

3. Are trade in quotes locked in or do they get valued at time of processing?
Get your games in fast enough and you will not have to worry about this. But the majority believe that you are locked in as long as it gets there before the 30 days are up.

4. Do games have to be complete?
Case, Manual, and working game are your only options. So yes, full credit if you have everything. But we are not too sure on how they determine scratches affecting playability (if they physically test the game during processing). Just clean all smudges and fingerprints prior to mailing, and if you have deep scratches it is up to you to chance them saying the game does not work.

5. What happens if they say the game is worth less than trade in quote?
You can either accept their valuation or PAY to have your game shipped back to you.

Yeah, me too. I just sent in 3 x TSM and 3 x SMB to Gazelle yesterday (for $20 each). I would have cancelled those and resubmitted them to Dealtree. Oh well... And don't count on that BBV B1G1 - they are already running a sale now and I doubt they'd switch back to the B1G1 so soon. Someone just said that because last year there was one in June/July. That means nothing for this year - we really have no idea at this point. I would buy whatever you can using the current B1G1 50% off deal as it is still a good sale, especially given the $5 bump for TSM.

I just wish the B1G1 50% off deal was still doing BOGO on the higher priced games instead of only taking 50% off of the second one. Then I might consider hitting up a bunch of BBV stores for some higher priced/newer titles.
 
Finally got my card... I ended up using it on an Insignia 720p 42" Plasma set. I paid $100 cash and the rest came from flipping games from the credit I got from Nerf. Thanks, BB, for my $100 TV :) I'll be sending in 6 SMB for $150 to buy some movies with, bitches :)
 
wow good thing i didnt have time to get to the PO as i had my 5 assassins creed 2 ready to go and they go and bump up the value $5.

Thanks for responding. I'll probably eat the $5 and send them to Gazelle like I did with my Cars Race O Rama that had a knife cut in it. I wish we had more info about how these places judge art, cases, and discs.
 
Ok, this makes absolutely no sense. The price of Lego Indiana Jones 2 dropped to $19.99 universally a few days ago. The trade-in value sat at $20. Not gonna lie, I got a few copies from GameStop (using credit) to flip to DealTree (GameStop credit to real money is good in my book).

The deal gets even sweeter. With the new TIVs (as of 5/29), the trade in value went UP to $25 dollars (from $20). So I figured I should let you guys know that you should always double check your values before you send them in. Also, I have just alerted the masses to a very easy flip. Watch out ;)

I wish I had had the balls to empty out a few BB stores by me with that Nerf deal and then had the patience to flip them either back to BB or to Gamestop, though I think I'd have worn out my welcome at all of the local GS stores if I did as many as it took to get a 42" plasma tv.:cry:

It is what it is. You can buy enough copies online to get the 25% off from gamestop, use Saver, and make about $9 per copy you buy (Buy at ~$15, get $25)

I am going to buy 10 copies of the Wii version from Gamestop, paying $168.37 for them plus a copy of Glory of Heracles from them, and should get $250 back. Easy as 1-2-3.

Not the greatest flip ever, but very little work on my end to make $80. Could also try to get the Used version if you want to leave it to luck getting covers for them.

As long as it is labeled and is under 13oz, you can drop it in a standard blue mail box.

Buying 10 copies from GS.com would be a good way to get banned. Just saying. Given the deals they are throwing out, I wouldn't do that for $80.
 
i bought 10 copies of lbp about 2 months ago for 150->300 flip. all were used all had case/cover/manual. They didn't ban me, just upgraded my edge card to pro today. if anything they will think you are a great customer.
 
Just a quick question for some of you trade in veterans. I submitted 2 trades of Super Monkey Ball and got an email saying they were verified and to await payment to Paypal within 7 days. I logged in to my account and it doesn't show anything under "accepted estimates"

Is this normal or should I be concerned. I have other games I want to trade in, but I'm just testing the waters first to see how it goes. It's only been 4 days since I got my "verified" email so I was planning on waiting until after 7 days. Any input?

It seems that now they are banning people who are buying mulitple copies, or canceling orders with multiple copies in them.
 
oh for real. that sux. i guess i will just try in store. but store prices are more than online...but you can verify if it is all complete. my lbp order guaranteed it would be complete, but i know that is still a risk. sux tho instore cuz you dont get 25%off... hmmm...but i guess taxfree. i may just pass n try a different best buy for more monkey balls. thanx tho for the flip tip. i dont wanna get banned :)

Ouch. I didn't know on the ban. I did a couple mass orders of same titles in the past couple days but they sent the first one out already so I didn't think anything of it.
 
I've done a few orders of 5+ games and no ban for me. I got LBP x 10, Tiger Woods x 5, and my recent Indiana Jones (360) x 3 and (Wii) x 8. Granted, i only did one fat order every 3 weeks or so

Bannings at GS.com just apply to GS.com - you simply can't order there any more. You can still trade at stores (I think, someone correct me if not) and buy stuff at stores and of course you keep your credit. It would be pretty tough for them to take your credit away without proving massive fraud. Just labelling you as a "dealer" and thus not letting you purchase online any more is not the same as saying you did anything illegal and worthy of having your credit pulled.

Wow, though, it didn't even occur to me to order multiple Lego Indy NEW and use the 25DEAL coupon. I did buy a used copy today in store but they are very rare around here (for any of the 3 systems). I also bought a new one at Best Buy along with some more SMB. Even Best Buy only had ONE new copy of Lego Indy 2 across all 3 systems (and it was for the 360 just like the used one I got).

I'm more worried about Best Buy/Dealtree pulling the value on that and using NorAm tricks to deny the trades. They have no history of doing that but I'd be more concerned over 10+ copies because of that...
 
Just noticed on the best-buy trade-in list that it says the prices are good until June 5th. I know they have dropped values in the past before the expect end date of the current promotion they are running, but if ur planning to trade in any games that jumped up in value like super monkey ball or lego indiana jones 2, i would make sure to lock it in before the 5th cuz you can almost guarantee that those prices will drop by then.

I have never had any luck doing it. The only way I ever found was to make a large purchase that uses all of them at once and then return it. They will return everything all on one giftcard. The only time I found it was worth the effort to do this though was when I had a bunch of $5 and $10 giftcards that had piled up.
 
So did anyone have a similar problem as to the one I posted on the previous page where stuff no longer shows up in your previous trades or is that common practice?

well guess I'm banned then. Made 4 separate orders of lego indy 2 on Friday with 10 off bonus each, all went through. Made 4 yesturday (cancelled in a few hours) and 4 (cancelled in a few minutes) today (all 8 where with 10 off bonus codes). Oh well, still made a profit on the B1G1 glitch.
 
gamestop is trying this new card in 3 cities/states. StL is one of them. I didnt have to buy a new one, i just walked in and the manager(im friends with) told me to give him my card and he just transferred my credit and gave me this shiny new progamer card. its for contests and you earn points n stuff or something.
i was at tru and they have tons of the lego games if you are having trouble finding them. starwars, indy 1/2 and batman all $20 at the register.

nixmahn why would they ban you for making seperate orders? i maybe understand the 10 at once but seperate orders seems crazy to be banned, even cancelled seems odd.

i made those orders with the 10 off coupons and credit. Maybe that was what brought flags, I dunno. I had 12 of them because of the B1G1 glitch. I made 16 orders, 13 got through :)

Well, the original reason was because of "billing address issues" Then I dug deeper and spoke with a supervisor of order fulfillment who informed me it was because I tried to use more 10 dollar coupons than were issues to me (which is false) I would call in and ask them to apply a 10 dollar coupon to my order, which they were okay with. He told me that you cannot use multiple coupon codes-- I said Customer Service was okay with doing this for me and that I can't be held at fault for them doing it.

Then he cited the Wii sports thing, which I told was ridiculous because I had a friend who needed a copy along with me. Then he went back even further for that glitch where if you bought a 40 dollar game, you get a network adapter. He asked why I had four bundles of these in the order, I said because of friends. He told me I was taking advantage of a glitch. Uh, yeah, but all I did was add those items to the cart. The dumb website took care of everything else for me-- I didn't do anything malicious and the orders were cancelled anyway.

Ugh. It pisses me off to no end that I can't order from their dumb site. I even used my girlfriend's credit card which has a different billing address, and my friend's address as a shipping address. They have cancelled both orders I tried with-- I dunno, am I IP banned or something?
 
I got cancellations notices on my second two mass orders this morning. I tried breaking them down into smaller orders. While there are some deals on the website, I won't be too heartbroken if they ban me. Two orders ago, my discs were severely damaged and they didn't even bother to hide the defective stickers on two of the discs. The last order I had, the most expensive game had no disc inside so I had to call them to get the game sent to me.
 
I ended up ordering 6 Lego Indiana 2's, 2 for each :ps3: :wii: :360: from gamestop, and locked the BB/DT prices in for $25 a copy. Turning $80 of GS credit into $150 of BB credit. Not bad, considering the GS Credit is all from BB RZ deals anyways...I'll put it towards my new camera, should BB ever get the damned thing in stock...(Canon T2I)
 
just stopped by gamestop store and picked up 3 legoindy2's perfect condition. B2G1 free with my powerup coupon so $32.38 total flippn for $75 woot. im gonna try to plat it first but heard its a bit glitchy so i wont stress about 100%. thanx for the info :)

Unless your going to do one. Order worth $100 or more and use 25deal. You'd get a better deal if you order used but I'd rather not risk it and just get new copies.
