So I happened to find a list of their games that they are giving some good money on, I guess to compete with Gamestop. Here is a copy of the list. I dont know if you have to trade in more than 1 game to get the deal, but thought others would be able to chime in with their experience. Of note is the hot shots golf trade in for PS3 (if you were able to get it from the sears clearance).

Added by Io: Note that you can also trade games in using this site:
http://ebay.eztradein.com/ebay/
which is handled by the same processor (Dealtree) used for the Best Buy program. In this case, though, you can get PayPal payments instead of Best Buy gift cards. The trade-in values and processing methods seem to be exactly the same.

I tried looking for the $20 and $30 trade in value games but came up empty, if you want to provide the link so I can add it here, let me know via PM.

UPDATED: since it keeps getting asked

1. Can I take them to a physical store?
Games need to be mailed in. If you try to do an instore trade from the website it will redirect you to mailing it in.

2. How many days do I have to mail it in?
30 days from initiating the trade. Mail it in ASAP as the processing time until you get your money differs and could be a wait.

3. Are trade in quotes locked in or do they get valued at time of processing?
Get your games in fast enough and you will not have to worry about this. But the majority believe that you are locked in as long as it gets there before the 30 days are up.

4. Do games have to be complete?
Case, Manual, and working game are your only options. So yes, full credit if you have everything. But we are not too sure on how they determine scratches affecting playability (if they physically test the game during processing). Just clean all smudges and fingerprints prior to mailing, and if you have deep scratches it is up to you to chance them saying the game does not work.

5. What happens if they say the game is worth less than trade in quote?
You can either accept their valuation or PAY to have your game shipped back to you.

I got two more packages of about $210 verified tonight. Most of my stuff has already gotten there by now with my missing big box finally showing up today. A couple of the last stragglers yet to show up. I'm still missing the chunk of stuff from the black period of 5/28 - 6/01, so we will see what happens on those. The big box that arrived today is the one I am anxious for because even though I sent it with more than 3 of a title, it did not get scanned by post office until it arrived today. I am anxiously awaiting what happens with that box and the other one similar that showed up yesterday.

Sent my 2 copies of Motorstorm in last Saturday, got the confirmation of acceptance email this morning. $50 gift card on the way! Very nice deal.

Thanks again to the OP for keeping this thread up to date and alive.

They just deleted a pending quote I had for Assassin Creed 2 for ps3 and 360. Here is what I received:

We have implemented a 3 title limit on our video game trade-in, as it has come to our attention that several people have been abusing our recent promotions. Our records indicate you have quoted several copies of Assassin's Creed II for PS3 and Xbox360, but have not shipped them. Do not ship these items, as we cannot accept them in addition to the items we have already received. If these items are sent, they will be disposed of upon receipt. If you have any questions regarding the legitimacy of the imposition of this limit, please read the following excerpt from the terms and conditions you agree to when you submitted your estimate.
"3. Limitations and Final Determinations. You acknowledge and agree that Dealtree may reject or limit the quantity of Items to be traded in under the Trade-In Program. You agree that all determinations of Dealtree or Best Buy with respect to trade-in and credit value assigned to the Item after its inspection will be accepted as final and are not negotiable."

I haven't bothered to send these in since I was a bit skeptical after they imposed the limit and the term that she quoted is all too favorable to them. If one was to send in games and they decided not to pay you or return them there really is no legal leg to stand on.

wahooo, 9 Dark Voids (20 each) and 3 SMB (25 each, sent 2 @ $20 before that) verified today. I dropped them off the day they changed there policy. Now just waiting for the checks.

6 SMB are now verified on the site but still haven't received an email. (quoted 5/30, shipped 6/3, verified 6/10 - @ $25/ea) I was a little worried about these because of the new 3 game limit and also because there was no scan on the package until 2:22am on 6/4.
What is the difference between gazelle and DT/BB? Are there any pros/cons to using gazelle?
Different companies, Gazelle seems to be quicker in payments and they actually will send you a box to ship things in if you want. DealTree overall gives higher payments but takes forever (and now has a limit of 3 of any item for a year)
Well, my 2 packages of 10x Planet 51 (Yes, I am THAT guy) were delivered yesterday... Now to see if they verify in full
 I did one of those - from Newegg I suppose?

Anyway, I had more verified today but until I get home I can't see if it was everything. I know they still haven't done my 5/28 package though... Interestingly enough, I got emails for the verifications today but not for the ones yesterday.

GoGamer had them for 9.99 in their 48 Hour Madness, the trade in value at the time was $20... So yea. Ha

Oh yeah, they were $14.99 from Newegg...

Might as well resort to Gazelle for now. I need SOMEONE to take my copy of FF

haha, funny how everyone was blaming me for bestbuy trade in only taking 3, when i did my 10 lbps 2 months ago. now im reading of 50 smb tradeins and more groups of 10... see, i didnt kill it!
Yeah, something is up....

Of my 4 trades during that time:
7 game parcel - shipped 5/27; delivered 6/2; verified 6/8; paid 6/8
5 game parcel - shipped 5/27; delivered 6/2; verified 6/4; paid 6/8
2 game first-class - shipped 5/27; delivered 6/1; verified ???
2 game first-class - shipped 5/28; delivered 6/2; verified 6/5; paid 6/8
Still waiting on verification of the one delivered 6/1. :whistle2:\"

Yea my 20 was certainly excessive, but 50? That was the biggest red flag of all
Ha you went for a $5 flip?
Yeah, that's why I only did one. It was easy enough, though, when Dealtree was running smoothly (had I known there would be any issues I probably would have skipped it though). I was diversifying my trade-ins with that and some other stuff. I guess that was pointless given other people doing 50 of the same game...

As I said before, the first package was Verified last Saturday (1 week later), the 2nd package shipped June 1 and has not been Verified yet. At least I didn't get a "No Thank You" email like neiname. I'm hopeful they'll get to it within 14 days.
Got all 50 monkeyballs accepted today. I'm going to the sizzler!
The SIZZLER? Can't you do better than that? Treat yourself to Ruth Chris or something!

EDIT: On a whim, I just checked my Dealtree Account and the other 24 were Verified on June 10. For some reason the first 21 are listed as Payment Pending, but I've already been paid.
Got all 50 monkeyballs accepted today. I'm going to the sizzler!
I feel bad for all 25 of those monkeys.
Dude, get your math right. If you want to be a masterbat....um, master flipper, you must get your math right. $11 (cost + tax) times 50 is $550. That will then turn into $30 BBRZ gift certificates and $1250 from this ebay site.

There is nothing funny about making mad cash.

We ever meet, I'll take you to Mcdonalds and you can order any value meal you want. You can even supersize it. Its on me.

Hey man, buffets are for when I can only flip 30 copies. They still have a place in our society.

Sucks to be you.

Lamesville. You get cash so you can double up on them through their reward zone program. You have much to learn padawan.
Man, where are you located? I traded in 26 copies @ $20. I could only get 29 myself across 6 BB's and that was the most in the 1st week. How did you get that many so late in the trade (@$25)?

I was all set to send them in for the $20 bucks and I also had some locked into Gazelle. Their TIV jumped to $25, resubmitted all my copies and bam, mad money. I never expected the TIV to jump, it was just dumb luck.
Still waiting on verification of the one delivered 6/1. :whistle2:\"
I am still waiting on my verification for games delivered on 6/1 as well... :bomb:

:bomb: I'm hoping the status changes on my trades from verified to payment pending as of tomorrow(7th day after verification), since the long wait between the stages on these trades goes against their own steps they list on the homepage of EZTradein.

Step 4 -- 7 days after receipt of the item we send payment.
It's been a bunch more than 7 days since they received them.

They're still woefully slow in comparison to just going to the neighborhood GS, but at least with them I'm getting cash and it's not taking 10-20% off the value.
I'll take a pic of my money when I get it, how's that?
That'd be nice, but not nearly as entertaining as a giant mountain of one game.
About 12.
Wow, you must've gone out of state. Any tips on getting multiple copies at 1 store?

I sent a package on tuesday via UPS dropbox because it was too big for the blue box. Didn't doesn't show up on USPS tracking, could it be because they have their own tracking system that is different?

Umm, you do know UPS and USPS are two different companies, right? Not to get you all worked up, but they may see a USPS box in there and they may literally go "Postal" on it, no pun intended!

Then why the hell does it say print pre-paid shipping lablel with the UPS logo on the view estimate page?

Mine had the same thing happen but if it says USPS its meant for the Post Office or the blue boxes. Brown boxes are UPS; I hope you aren't up the creek on that one man! Maybe it'll find its way to its destination, or at the very least its returned to you.

Just curious. Is BB actually doing the trade-ins themselves or was it another company behind the scene (like Amazon-NorAm)?

I just called and I was told that it would either be returned to me or it would be given to the USPS and that would be sent to it's destination, hopefully.

I've had 4 or 5 shipments of games that I've dropped off at the UPS store, and all of them were successfully delivered.

I live close to the border of my state. So that helps.

Map out your BB route. Start early, so you can hit them once the shift changes happens on your way back home. Go once to customer service and then go back out and go back in and go to the regular cashiers. If your ugly, which i'm not, you can talk the pretty cashiers babies to scan the coupon twice/ three times. You can also give them 2 coupons on one transaction. Print them out instore. You're not stealing from them, so don't act shady. Just be cool. Took me a total of 3 days to get the 50 but I have help.

I saw people posting that SHC loser should be Cag of the year, but to be honest, hells no. I'm showing you guys ways to make cash, not waste it. So if anyone should be COTY, its me.

Tips on getting more? Grab 3, cash out, then ask the guy if you can grab the rest. You can try bringing more than 3 to the counter, but I have not tried that.

You're like Estebon Beacon Teaches Flipping. Awesome!

(to understand this joke visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mavis_Beacon_Teaches_Typing specifically "The Name" section)

Nevermind. It's not funny when I explain it. Even I'm dissapointed.

Best part of living near a state border like that? Almost always two different "districts." It's like that for me with GS, BB and just about every other store. It's definitely a good thing when you start getting known at your stores ^_^
