LOL @ the fact that the Vita has bombed so hard, no major retailer is even attempting to push it during Black Friday. That's hilarious.
I was really hoping for some sales on Vita games (Tearaway, Killzone, Batman, and Rayman immediately come to mind). Hopefully they'll show up on Amazon or some unannounced sale elsewhere.

it sucks cause its a great handheld ! tons of indi support, its libary has grown plenty over the last year or so and its at a respectible price (especially compaired to the overpriced 3ds). the vita tv and ps4 remote play along with more games comming to it will give it the long term boost it needs. wii u will do much better after a libary boost and a 250$ price point imo. both consoles will live just fine :D

gamestop will have Killzone($20) and Rayman($25) on sale on BF but I agree there are not enough game deals for the Vita, Amazon and the PSN store are our only hope.

So Wal-Mart says they're price matching all competitors on the front page of their ad - does that mean doorbusters as well?

You guys think the $99 2DS is worth it?  I mainly just want it to play the new Zelda and some of the first party Nintendo games.  I'm not fan of using the stylus though, and I'm not sure which games require it.  I stopped playing Phantom Hourglass cause so much stylus.

I guess I'll get the $99 360 Slim from Walmart. Mine crapped out on me this past weekend. Ah well.. after 5 and a half years I guess its time was up. In for AC4 as well.

Better be prepared to wait in line on Thanksgiving afternoon. I'm sure they'll be gone very quickly.

Man so much good stuff and I don't think I have the money to spend all the things I want. Not only that but I will have to split between Walmart and Best Buy, sadly the only thing I want from BB is that freaking Asus laptop and for that price man you can't beat that. My problem is choosing what games I want to buy, AC 4, B:AO, BF 4, Beyond: TS, Borderland 2: GOTY, Dishonored: GOTY, Tomb Raider, Lego Marvel, Jak Collection, etc... that doesn't include blu-rays movies, and clothes...

I going to be broke this BF...

Go to Target this week, get yourself a 30% coupon and d the B2g1 deal they got going on, its better price than waiting for black friday.

Will Gamestop offer their pre-owned games cheaper than the new versions, along the same lines of BF deals?

Take Deadpool, for instance. It's going to be $20 new on BF (sitting at $40 new, $35 PO). Will a pre-owned version be something like $15 throughout the BF sale, or will pre-owned versions stay at $35?
It's been a while but I remember going to GS on a BF all set to do a B2G1 and the third game I wanted (Virtua Tennis 3) was something like $8 cheaper new that day, and consequently the used version would have been my most expensive game of the three and they wouldn't price match down. So yes, it's possible for new to be cheaper.

Where can I get that coupon? Sounds good if that is the case I may end buying AC 4, B:AO and BF 4.
It pops up randomly if you purchase something from electronics at the front registers where the coupon prints. Easiest way to do it is to buy a few of the $1 game reservation cards, pick like 6 and do separate transactions. The coupon should print out. Afterwards, simply return the cards to the customer service to get your money back and walkout with a 30% coupon.

If Sony would just release the new model over here "some people" (read: me) would snatch one up in an instant, oh well.
You do know the new vitas don't have an OLED screen right? I would prefer shorter battery life (which still lasts 8-10 hours) and a beautiful screen rather than a longer battery life and a LCD screen.

yea i love my launch day model ever since i played uncharted golden abyss on it that day. oled is amazing. not to take anything away from the new model of course

Question still hasn't been answered so I'll ask it again to you TV experts out there. Which store has the best Samsung TV deal? After quickly comparing the Walmart and Best Buy Ads, the 40 and 46 inches from both stores are different models?

Long time reader...first time poster.  I have physically shopped Black Friday's before in my home town (smaller town of about 40,000), but this year I am in my current home in a much bigger city.  I really wish to avoid the chaos this year as we are hosting Thanksgiving and 6pm is silly.  That being said, I have never tried navigating the BF deals online.  Do any of you have any positive experience finding these deals either a) on these stores online storefronts or b) on Amazon price matches?  Are all of you planning on going out hunting, or staying home and shopping in the creature comforts of home?  I don't want to plan to stay in and get hosed...but...well...I am totally in stasis on the matter.  As it is...WalMart and BB look the best but those are the two I want to avoid the most.  Law of averages I guess....

If I remember correctly, last year Amazon announced all of their deals the same way they do their daily goldbox/lightning deals: http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/ref=cs_top_nav_gb27

So they announce them ahead of time and 99% of the time you can assume it'll be a price-match of whatever's out in the wild.

The only problems are that the items tend to sell out in a few seconds and sometimes they just randomly remove stuff after advertising it all day. Last year, for example, Borderlands 2 was supposed to show up at, say, 5pm for $25 but it randomly disappeared around 3pm without a word and the internet went into a frenzy of complaints.

I did fine shopping online during the day last year and going out late at night for a cleanup so I'll probably do the same this year. If you're going for a big ticket item though from like Best Buy or Target online...it's better to assume you're not going to get it than to get your hopes up.

Nothing of worth that I haven't already gotten cheaper elsewhere. All my shopping will be done online this year from Amazon w/ trade in credit.

Best Buy question. The iPad Air listing says "starting at $449" and save $50-70, but has the 16gb listed. Am I correct to assume that the 32gb will also be on sale and at $529? I just bought one on Friday. Is there a restock fee if I return?

I am hoping to score the 65 inch LED Samsung TV at Best Buy. Online or no go for me. I am sad there are no deals on the Vita nor WiiU. I was hoping for a $150 vita deal or $200 WiiU deal.

I couldn't care less about the original Vita's OLED screen, it's colors are more vibrant but it comes at the cost of burn in issues. I'd rather go with the more convenient LCD screen the new model is offering along with the comfier looking design and longer battery life.

Better battery life and USB connection >>> the screen change. Its not like LCD is ugly or anything. Screen aside, the new Vita seems to be an improvement in almost every other way. The LCD isn't that much of a detriment to make me stay away and I don't think it will really matter to most people unless you've already owned a Vita and have something to directly compare it too. Most newcomers wont notice a difference as they wont have that frame of reference

Tell me about it.. ugh. I can't believe they're making you go in at 6PM on Thanksgiving. Is this really necessary?

On that note, do you (or anyone else here) know if the $99 Xbox Slim deal will be available online or if Amazon is doing it? I'd rather just order it and stay home on Thursday.

Killzone triology
Heavy rain
God of war saga collection
Deomon souls
Metal gear Solid  the legacy Collection
Resistance collection
God of War: Ascension

Cant Find any deals for these collections. Anyone knows How much will these games will cost ???

I guess I missed that. What does "guaranteed in stock B&M" mean?
It means if you walk in between 6pm and 7pm and the game on the ad isn't in stock, you can basically pay the $34 and get it shipped to you or pick it up another time. I guess it's to deter people from stampeding in there but you know it's going to happen anyway.

Also, to bump up my other post, does anyone know if Walmart's website will be offering any of these deals (specifically the $99 X360 Slim) or if Amazon will be price matching it? Would be really useful to me since I'd rather not leave the comfort of my home on Thanksgiving night.

Personally I enjoy to go out. The main reason is to people watch. I always start the journey at Walmart. It is the cream of the crop of people watching.

Online... Best Buy typicially crashes. Walmart doesn't offer most of their deals online. Amazon is Amazon... all lightning deals... you have to be on top of when they start. Amazon deals won't go as low as the Walmart B&M. More on par with Best Buy.

The 3d one right? Trying to get that one as well lol.

So where do you guys think the best Wii U sale is?
It seems only two retailers will have it on sale. Kmart and Best Buy.

I'll be picking it up at Best Buy for $320 because it comes with a copy of Nintendoland and a Mario Wii controller.

I'm convinced Nintendo has just given up with the Wii U ... I mean, they've taken huge amounts of criticism for under-selling this past year and now there are absolutely no good offers on Black Friday. I would buy one at $199 or $250 with a decent bundle like the new Mario game ... but they simply aren't willing to compete. They're growing an established user-base with the 3DS and those sales are great, but it makes no sense to me that Nintendo wouldn't want to get as many Wii U's into homes this Christmas as possible.

Do they really think that in 6 months to a year anyone is going to look at the performance of the Wii U from a graphics and online experience perspective and say "Wow, I want to buy that instead of a PS4 or an Xbox One." It's sad really ...
