Those who pre ordered early before the art book was removed, did the art book line item take long to show up in your order history page? That is, did you see your order without the art book appearing in the history page first, and then few days later see the art book followed?[/quote]
my order appeared as both items right away. i doubt they've gotten in enough books to satiate the more recent orders. maybe a few since the 5/5 cut-off.
also i talked to many of my friend's who are employed at game stops all around, NC, TX, CT, MA, etc etc, and all premiums are first come first serve, if u pre-order or not, if you show up to a midnight release to purchase a game that you did not pre-order you can get a midnight release premium same goes for release date purchases. pre-ordering in-store ONLY garentees you that game, the store will receive a limited number of premiums to give out. this is different than the issue happening with the web premiums. they said they were goign to be very limited, and YES they should have taken down the front page advertisementonce the system read 0 art books left. This isnt the only website beign exploded with people desiring this premium so maybe there will be a second printing befor the ship date.
best way to garentee a premium in store, is be nice, be memorable, make sure they know you are swingign by on release day, and if all else fails call them up in the AM aroudn open and say hey I will be by for ____ can you please hold a premium for me if i cant make it right away?
stores that allow employees to take them and sell them on ebay wont last long, as that is technicly internal theift/buisness abuse and grounds for, in most cases, immediate firing. so if you see any ebay accounts consistign of large ammounts of GS premiums report them to game stop for inspection.
ad liek the other guy said a few pages back if you have a negative(or extremely posative) instance in a GS report it. my friends would never mistreat of guilt trip customers, a good retailer will do wahtever it takes to make the customer happy.
