Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - Gen. Discussion & Info
Would this be Eastern Standard Time? That would make it 11 p.m. PST, and at an Orange Box level activity. On a weekend, I played Bad Company past 2 a.m., and it was very active. So yeah, if Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 represent highly-active online multiplayer games, and Bad Company represents the level below COD4, then Hell's Highway sounds pretty inactive. That's unfortunate, if so. After hearing impressions and reading reviews, I'll give the game a rent. It seems unworthy of a retail purchase.
I'm in Wisconsin so it would be Central time. That makes it what, midnight in Pacific time?

As for buying it, I'm going to do what I did with the other two games and wait for it to come down in price a bit. When it hits the $40 mark, I'll more than likely pick it up asap

edit: oh and though IGN says the AI of the enemies and allies are clueless, I'm almost done with the game and I've never ran into any of those problems

My local GameStop has this game and with this weeks coupon I could get it for around $40. After hearing the complains though I'm not sure if it's worth the $40.

Well, I think I'm going to pick it up. I have 7 days to return it if I don't like it. We shall see.

I beat it this morning and I've got to say, I had quite a bit of fun playing it.

And if you've played the other two games, the story really gets good and it oddly enough has a nice emotional punch to the gut that goes into the extent of the secret that Baker is holding on to

and I don't know if I would call this a spoiler or not but I'm going to put it in spoiler tags anyways

its going to be pretty sweet to see the next game be played out in snow levels

Awesome single player so far..

But the online play is garbage. It lags like hell unless youre hosting, and now the game is unplayable since the major update yesterday... it just auto boots everyone.

Stupid -_-V

Wow ... bumping an old thread but ...

I just Gamefly-ed this game and I actually really enjoyed the single player. Anybody else agree?

The story was told really well, although the framerate chugged quite a bit during many of the scenes. Has anybody finished this game?

Actually Im about to start this. Just finished one game from my backlog and this is next in line. howwq long did it take you to beat the game?

I actually finally got around to playing the demo last week and I thought it was really cool... I am going to pick this up probably once it hits below $20 again since I already have a huge backlog though.

maybe it's the fact that i really really enjoyed "road to hill 30" and, to a lesser extent, "earned in blood", but i didn't like "hell's highway" at all. i finished it, but didn't really have fun with it or enjoy the story. i probably was just expecting too much from it. glad to hear others are liking it, though.
