Buzz Quiz Free on PSN

What, what? I have two Buzz games, what is this "Buzz Quiz" you're talking about? Please explain with more information than a vague statement.

Sorry that is all i know is Buzz quiz is free on PSN and it has trophies is all i know lol my info came high jacked with a little espionage :)

But since i got nothing to do I'm check.


BUZZ quiz player is free playable with dualshock3 wireless controllers, this free, downloadable BUZZ game offers players the chance to purchase and enjoy the wide range of quiz packs available on the Playstation store.

Sounds to me like a demo that they released in an attempt to increase DLC sales, but maybe I'm wrong.
 
I agree, it sounds like a demo. I've got Buzz and Buzz Quiz World, both for the PS3. This sounds like a stand alone demo and probably has nothing for me. Oh well, I was hoping they were giving away free quiz packs, those things are way over-priced.
 
It's a full game I'm downloading it now but going slowly I think everyone is downloading it at once at the moment

no it adds a trophy card making you buy more dlc. Good thing i didn't download it lol if i do now i will use my sub account.
 
from what i understand it's just a bare bones quiz game that plays buzz quiz packs.

i own both buzz games + quite a bit of DLC already, so it's of no use to me, but would be good for someone who didn't have the main games
 
on the topic of trophies, alot more psn games have had platinums lately. just noticed worms2 and both alien breeds and splelunker have plats, and kungfu rider fail as a retail game with no plat, lol. im just waiting to rent sly3! :)

I'm checking the store and it says:
"BUZZ: Quiz Player (full game) ...playable with dualshock 3 controller... wide range of quiz packs available". Of course the extra packs cost.

Who was the Grinch that gave this find less than 4 stars? Come on people!

I guess it depends on your definition of "full game." From what's been said in this thread, the game doesn't contain trophies. Considering every PSN game released nowadays contains trophies, and since it only contains 90 "sample questions" (Buzz Quiz World contains over 5000), that all makes me think that it's nothing more than a glorified demo.

But hey, don't let me rain on your parade.

Yup, and you get them one week earlier if you're willing to pay $60 a year!
I just looooove paying for McDonald's ads, Resse's Peanut Butter Cup ads, and I looooove paying to "unlock" the online portions of games I just bought.
 
On the topic of quiz games, does PS3/PSN have anything like 1vs100 (from XBL)? Like, a massively multiplayer online quiz game? I'm really missing that.
 
I hate those "I don't give a fuck about trophies/achievements" comments. Good for you a-holes, but does it really hurt your gaming experience having them in the game? NO! So shut the hell up. It's so stupid really... If you're paying extra to have the achievement/trophy then it's a different story. The games are not cheaper because they have them, end of story!

In this case, the trophies will clearly tell you it's a full version or a demo. You might "feel" like playing a full game, but in actuality, it's a demo.

If it's a demo, you can get tons of free games on the Xbox. But none of them give you achievements.

It isn't a demo. It is a free base game, that needs paid expansions. Sorta like Family Game Night, on the Xbox 360 (is it on the PS3 too?).

If it's a full game, you should see the game title under the trophy list even if you haven't unlock any trophies. Unless this game has no trophies to start with...

I thought that all games since 2009 HAD to have trophies? Maybe an exception?? I wonder if someone buys the DLC packs- do trophies get added?
 
Well not to take a crap on anyone but i mean its only buzz quiz i don't consider it a game anyway just a freebie. It be like if they gave some free card game away 10 year old PC's would run the card games just as well on windows 95 and if i wanted to really play this id just play my Trivial pursuit board game i probably have like 1,000+ unanswered questions.
Who you should feel bad for is the people who pay for BUZZ JK not. You really can't get more casual of a player then that unless you want to go as low as Pong or something.

PS home has a free buzz quiz space. Groups of 30-40 people are in a quiz room with four color spaces on the floor. Multiple choice questions appear, and you have to run to the right colored area (color of the correct answer). Tons of quizes, and you can win prizes for your avatar too.

Thats the closest to what your talking about i think. Its fun for a bit

In the navigator menu, just find buzz quiz space. It wont be under new or featured spaces, since its kind of old now. The section of navigator that lists every single space is where you'll find it
