Lol ok,just because I'm a little turned off by how slow somethings go.
As for ammo and stealth, I have that down. I'm playing on hard, 35% done, and have only died twice. Just annoyed at how sometimes you can Sprint quickly while you can't during other times, how Ellie sometimes doesn't move or ends up standing inside of you (a glitch I've encountered a couple of times), and the clickers in general. They freak me out every time lol. Other than that, I still love the game, despite the problems I've faced and the TERRIBLE trophy list.
On a side note , is there anyone interested in my borderlands 2 group? Pm me if you are. I'll probably cancel it if I don't get one more resell and one more phantom by tonight. I'll be looking for a Borderlands 2 share then, so if you have one pm me as well.

I dont know why gamestop and gamefaqs has it listed on the 21st but we'll see. Just finished Last of Us. took me 14 hrs. cant wait for that single player dlc.  Fun Fact: Nolan North is David in last of us. Now on to new game +

lul the hot cosplay of Hilda? Yeah, I like it too but it was time for a change and I'm all hyped for Smash 4 like never before. Having played Melee competitively for eight years, I've gotten really burned out of that game and am really psyched to play Smash 4 knowing it's in between Melee and Brawl in terms of gameplay.

For the Walking Dead DLC, do we physically have to have Walking Dead downloaded? Or do we just have to have a save of the game? I've already beaten the game, but I deleted it and sold off the share so I'm hoping it's the latter.

Are they new or vets? I'd advise you to just message them for now to see how things are going, I did read other people on here that it took a while to download and hear back from phantoms for this game, so it could just be that's the case.

Have you checked their profiles to see when they were last active on the site?

Nope. It's stealth-based but not as fun as say the old Splinter Cell games. Starting to believe most reviewers were just wowed by the graphics. I've been through NG+ on Hard with 61% of the trophies, so I feel I've played it longer than most. Ellie and the graphics are really the only exceptional things about the game. Highly overrated, for sure.

Maybe you were just hyped up too much and it failed to meet your expectations? Not played it myself but it does look really good, does it have a sense of dread when you're surrounded by enemies and hardly any ammo?

Maybe it is just me, but the aiming in this game is far worse than other similar games I've played. It is a real pain and now I've pretty much cut out using guns except in super emergencies because they are such an annoyance. That on top of the fact that the game has very few stealth paths to take that don't have enemies staring right at you. It's enjoyable, but I would give it an 8/10 rather than a 10/10. I do like Ellie and some of the other characters you meet throughout. Plus there are some great high tension moments.

Man, TLOU is the slowest download I've ever encountered. I let it sit for 4-5 hours yesterday and it's at a whopping 9.85% right now. It's gonna be days before I can even play.

Wow thats slow. In about 3 hours i had about 68% and the ability to play.

Nah. The only thing I saw was the TV commercial. I haven't followed a game, looked at trailers or read a review beforehand in years (Wind Waker on GC). There isn't a sense of dread, and ammo was never an issue for me on Hard. On NG+ Joel was maxed out by chapter 7 so that was even easier than my original playthrough. I'll do my Survivor runs next year for the plat because it's just too much right now. Gameplay is tedious and pacing is slow. I see why they added multiplayer now. You'd be pressed to ever want to play this more than once because of those two reasons I listed. It's just not the masterpiece people are claiming, in my opinion.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course, personally I hated games like assassin's creed, red dead redemption, and GTAIV when the general consensus was that they were great games. I could never get into assassin's creed for some reason, probably just not my genre. Red dead and GTA4 had that unbearable control scheme IMO for a 3rd person game and both games seemed like go to point A and B and kill certain targets etc. The Last of Us though has one of the best storylines though thus far, presentation is also top notch and the character development was great. From a story point standpoint, this game is a gem, but yea I can understand how gameplay wise you might be dissuaded, not everyone's cup of tea.

My internet's not usually this slow, but it's been spotty lately. Gonna reset the router and possibly call my ISP.

What you said here actually reminds me of when I first played red dead redemption. I was abroad for 18 months working and had essentially no internet for my own use so never saw any reviews or previews for games and bought the game on my 360 because of red dead revolver. I played it and enjoyed it but when I got back home to England and saw all the praise it got online, I thought it was highly overrated.

 
I think I'll cancel my Borderlands 2 group by tonight if no one shows interest. So instead, I'll just leave a list of games I would like shares of. I only have Paypal.  I also have a Phantom of my main account available with tons of PS+ games (the plus lasts until May 2014), Sonic Adventure 2, and Persona 3 FES.
