Originally, Rockstar said you would be able to start pre-loading in about 6.5 hours. They have since said that information was incorrect and you can start downloading at midnight Eastern on Tuesday (in about 27.5 hours). However, the info on the store says midnight Pacific, which is in 30.5 hours. Yes, I'm confused as well.

 
They simply didn't update US PSN Store with new time. It was just announced this Friday, the new time it was going up. I would be more wary if it posted by a community manager on playstation forums or something.

Ok so I got some news. Pre-load is only in EU!! US gets fuked and we gotta wait till 12 am est.  also u need to have around 36-37 gb free to install the game also.

Better then 3am Est. I was going to have set up my alarm to wake myself up at 3am to login and start download and then have to go back to sleep (i have hard time going back to sleep once I wake up). I stay up until midnight almost every night so this is perfect for me plus I wasn't go to play it at midnight anyway.

Im shocked they even bothered moving the 12am Est Tuesday (9pm Pacific Time) because I'm not sure if they have done that with any other release.

I think some at Sony are on drugs lol Madden 25 was supposed to be out Midnight PST but it was available at EST

The real scary thing is going to watch how fast resells drop in price. Everyone is getting it day one, highly doubt anyone's going to be ready to sell it for a while and by then everyone will surely have it. Same reason a lot of resells are going for cheap now for newer games, as the community grew so did the number of ppl able to fill groups, meaning 90% of people interested in a game will get in a group before launch.

I know people are having the paypal transitions onto the accounts say unsuccessful, but are any of you guys even able to have paypal balance as one of the payment options? For some reaso, it's only giving me the options to take it off my Bank or CC -.- I usually have options for those and BML and my paypal balance. 

 
I still don't want to believe that the preload will be until tuesday, there's still the hope that preload and download are two very different things.

I will be buying a resell in a few months after I get done with a tough few month stretch at work. So theres still one person who will buy on the secondary market. :)

I am not saying nobody will. But you are in such a small minority that the people who want to get rid of it will have to lower prices to give people an incentive to buy seeing that it's not selling. And like you just said you will buy it way later on down the line, after those prices have been dropped.

See people selling xillia and saints row 4 for $12-13 now even though they're like a month or two old? It's bc anyone who wanted them got in a group for them, just as is happening with GTA. Only GTA is a way more popular game and there are way more groups for it, so finding people that aren't gonna have a copy is gonna be hard. It's sad to say it, but the larger our community grows, the less likely you are to get full resale value on a game.
