Did all of the CAG groups for Extralife merge? I want to make another donation through the group to Sacred Hearts Children's Hospital, they actually helped my sister alot when she was going there.

Long story short, could someone link me? I got confused with what happened to the groups. And come the 1st of Nov. I would like to donate.

Just decided to drop in and live vicariously through the thread for a minute. I'm not able to get on my PS3 right now so I'm on an all-Vita diet if I'm not around for awhile.

Here's hoping it works for PS4 somehow but the account login thing isn't looking good. I guess we could at least split things, though, if we both can log in at the same time?

you can split 50/50 but only one acct will be able to get trophies on their main

 
Reading about the digital gamesharing info. Makes sense so far, but I have two questions. Let me know if we know either of these things yet or will have to wait a little longer for more info and confirmation. I don't THINK these have been revealed yet but I'm not as up to date either so I figure it doesn't hurt to check.

1) I know any acct can play on the home console (the one that buys the game). But is that "home ps4" status transferable? For instance, if you want to sell your resellable spot to somebody and get rid of it off your ps4, is their ps4 now the home ps3 and they can play on any account or is that always linked to the original one that bought it?

2) Can you still create a phantom through online deactivation? If so, potentially you could have 3 accounts. 1 phantom, the original home ps4, deactivated through website, 1 resellable, the new home ps4 and the only one officially recognized, and then a third slot on someone else's ps4 but they can only play on the account while online.

1) not transferrable, its a one time download for the home console. the other "resell" slot can sell it but the person who buys it will have to be signed into the acct to play it, meaning no trophies on their main

2) right now you can, for ps4 you wont be able to bc again one time download. deactivations don't exist

Ouch....big time ouch. So the days of buying a game digitally and reselling it are pretty much dead UNLESS the guy is willing to play on that acct only. And you'd have to imagine it will need to be sold for a much lower rate to compensate that. No idea what kind of rates will become standard but I could see buying a resellable slot for $45 and selling the gimped version to someone else for $15 and losing $30 in the process. Making it very unappealing for most games.... Plus, if it was originally split when bought $45 resellable and $15 for someone else who can only play on that account, you really can't resell anyway since they obviously can't BOTH play on the account. If you buy it by yourself for $60, then you can reasonably sell it later but again, it's a version that can only be played on the same acct, so you may only be able to get $15 for it anyway. So either way, you basically pay $45 or whatever the standard rate winds up being. If I'm understanding this correctly, it's not looking good.

Edit: Ignore the part about reselling it, that was a mistake as I forgot that it's NOT transferrable.

Yep, and they'd have to re-add their friends if they wanna talk to them or be seen playing whatever.

It's a tough sell for resellables too. Pay $45 for a game they can never resell or pay $55-60 for a physical copy, or even less if they wait or find a deal, and you can resell it and make most your money back. Hell, you can lend it to a friend and they can play on THEIR account. If it's a game that you absolutely want right now and plan on keeping forever, sure, get it for $45 and save $15, that's not a bad idea. But if it's a game you're not 100% sure about or might wanna sell when you're done with it, OR something you don't mind waiting for the price to come down on, I think it makes more sense to get it physical.

BTW, do you have a link or anything for this info? I believe you but I'd like to read more into it. I'm also hoping that MAYBE people will eventually discover some kind of exploit (kinda like the online deactivation took us from 2 slots to 4 on ps3 now)

I buy battlefield 4 for my ps4 on my main home account......my friend wants it? does he have to play it on my main account?

Or could I make a new account on PS4 and make it home on my console, play all the games on my main account and let him use the newly made account? So we could just buy all games and go 50/50 like mentioned on the new account?....I would get trophies on my main and he wouldn't? (he's not bother about trophies)

I'm getting confused....basically me and my friend want to go 50/50 on Games if possible......I'll be setting it all up because he has no clue!
