You can always open a japanese account and get that 14 days ps plus trial. It doesn't require a credit card or anything and most of the games they release for ps plus there are different from what we get on US and EU ps plus. I got to play Killzone Shadow Fall last month for free althrough the game sucked and I didn't finish it.

Japanese Shadow Fall sucks becouse it's 100% in Kanji:) Same as Natural Doctrine:(

EU is not like US, once you added the cc, you can use it on another account after month. Otherwise every payment will be failed and you can get banned for a while (for purchasing new item, not for PSN access at all).

Shadow Fall was completely in English. The only difference was that the X and O button were inverted.
You are right on Natural Doctrine though, everything was in Japanese there.

If I have a free trial of a game (Killzone Shadow Fall), and I purchase the full game on another account, will I have to redownload everything or does the game just "unlock"?

Not for me. I tried console settings (works on PS3) and in-game menu, voice and text was in Japanese. Whatever, I'll buy it on disc someday.

Just make sure that you're only DMZing your PS3's IP and not your entire network. If you DMZ your entire network, it leaves you very vulnerable to malicious attacks.

DMZ is just a easy/lazy way of port forwarding as it opens every single port.

Check out http://portforward.com , they have walkthroughs for pretty much everything, including giving your system a static IP. And like Marauder said, your first step should be giving your PS3 a static IP.

It's not always a miracle solution for lag and poor connection though. If you have UPnP (automatic port forwarding) enabled on your system and router, and it's doing it's job, you might not see much difference.

Do a connection test on your PS3 and check your NAT Type.

Type 1 - all your ports are open, zero firewall between you and internet (DMZ or no router direct connect to modem)

Type 2 - you're behind a firewall but the proper ports were opened (what most people have and use)

Type 3 - Strict NAT, limited connection, port forwarding needed.

Sometimes DMZ doesn't give you a full Type 1 and still shows as being Type 2.

Not saying he deff did, but since snakey just got banned he might have said fuck it and stole the act

One resell was donated to the library by kv and is currently activated on my system since I called first dibs on it, but I can't log in so I can't help on my end. I think you're SOL. If only 3 ppl besides snakey (me, kv, and you) were the only ones with the info and pass was changed, most likely snakey stole it. Kv already owned a share, you obv didn't change it, and I wouldn't steal a share period let alone such a cheap one. Process of elimination based on intent points to the snake

Also qdizz join Hyperion server. You can't change once you pick one without paying a fee so pick your server carefully. Hyperion is always full hopefully tn I'll get in. Id like to play with ppl on here but only 2 ppl seem to play it and even then not a lot... The ppl I know on Hyperion are addicted, like they go together to in game weddings and shit lol

And in case anyone didn't know the full version comes with 30 days free but not tacked onto leftover trial time

Have any of you started a club in Driveclub? Looking to join one. Hell, do any of you even play lol? Are the weather updates really that substantial? GAF is convinced this is the best racing game EVAR (...wonder why that is), so I'm going to try put some time in this weekend.

I put about 5 hrs into it. Not great whatsoever. Best racer ever was either apex for original Xbox, nfs underground/most wanted (old one) or Forza horizon 1 IMO

If you didn't get far in the game you can always create a new character and go through the tutorial again. I believe you have more than 1 slot for your characters unless it's a paid feature.

 
Pravado - Snake is many things but stealing a share because he was banned is taking it too far. Not putting my head on a block but making a process of elimination based on that isn't cool.

Ff14- the fricken game is free for 14,days jump in bros also Prav have u joined Hyperion already have u created a character if u did then I dont mind heading there. I just need someone to show me around is all.

Also I have 2 phanta left in uncharted trilogy and well looks like no ingrest in final fantasy 7 8 9 if none by Sunday I will put it on my main.
 
Doubt snakey would steal such a small/worthless share

I've been trying FF14 and it's pretty fun, don't now what the fuck I'm doing but I'll probably end up buying a share ( @tokyo still got that voucher for $10? )

I used to play wow and it brings back memories like crazy. Problem is I'll get addicted and I can't because fiance. 

 
yeah thats why im afraid i had a message box open to tell stomp to hold it for me but if i had to jump back into a mmorpg it would be wow as i have 4 expansions to catch up on

lol FF14 is about the only game me and JD play. I am normally on if I am not at work. and normally me and my GF go to the in-game weddings together as well(if I am not at work lol).

I do play later in the day/night into the early morning though normally

 
i didn't join hyperion yet but i plan on joining it. the prob is that it's one of those servers where you have to be on at 2am to be able to get in.... tried 3 days in a row from 6pm til 12am checking here and there and was never able to get in

i said in that post that snakey didn't definitely do it but it was most likely seeing as only 4 people in total had the pass from what i can see: one is already an owner looking for pass that was changed (highly doubt he's trying to cover up him stealing his own acct..), another is a guy that donated his share to the library when he didn't have to (he also had access to the acct/game so why steal it?), third is me, fourth is snakey. again, no concrete evidence but the fact that it just got changed after his ban... i can't think of a better explanation unless one of the phantoms stupidly tried to steal an acct with two active devices on it and no ability to create new phantoms until may, and that's assuming the pass wasn't changed once phantoms were made

just remember that people can break bad. remember zaspera? dude was just as much a regular as snakey and stole sooo many shares when he left, prob figured he had no reason to come back and got greedy knowing nobody could reprimand him. but yeah, not ACCUSING snakey flat out as i don't have evidence, just saying it's suspicious is all

Sometimes Sony resets accounts password just because they can. That would be another explanation, and a totally reasonable one.

if you have the email of the account, try to recover it using the link on the page. if you do not, contact the one who created the account. if you find the email was changed as well, then something wrong is going on, otherwise I would think is just a missunderstanding.

This snakebro, should have an skype or a gtalk account that someone here must know, just try to contact him. IMHO

this answers my questions I just PMed you haha I wasn't sure if the pass got changed once they were in the library, making this my fault, or if the pass stays the same and snakey did it. I guess either way, if you can't log in either then...snakey snaked us
