I vouch for Michael4991, I timeshared to him twice and had no problems at all.

Question for the thread: how is everyone liking the Spring Fever games? I bought Axiom Verge and Bastion and I have to say, Bastion is so much better than I expected! Axiom Verge... Ugh. That "transport" thing is impossible to make work!

 
I just thought I would share that I finally got hit with the locks today. I haven't played a game since Bloodborne and I have only been turning my system on once a day to check the status of the handful of phantoms I have.

They showed as locked as soon as I scrolled over to them. I never use standby or power saving features so the system was a complete cold boot.

 
I have a question for all those whom have bought pahtoms of main accounts... Did your phantoms got locked? I bought strange's main account phantoms and it is still alive! I wonder if constantly logging in the account avoids the remote license checking

That's a damn good question! I just tracked down who I sold my phantom to, I'll report back on this when he responds.

I've never bought one of a main and I'm still lucky enough that all six phantoms are still good, added mortal Kombat to the list today.

Barely got to play Axiom Verge - a little bit after the first boss. It was pretty good from what I've played though, very metroidvania like.

Played Bastion on 360, really dig the combat/gameplay and the narration is pretty cool. Soundtrack is top notch, not Nier god tier, but still fantastic. Didn't really understand or care for the story though haha.

As for the other Spring Fever games, Hotline 2 is great.. but didn't have the same impact as the first game. Absolutely killer soundtrack though. Jamestown was awesome (local) multiplayer on PC.. expect the same on PS4.

Massive spoiler for those that haven't played Shovel Knight yet: it's amazing.

Mageshadow and smarkbran bought a friend of mine and my main account phantoms respectively... have you guys have had your phantoms locked? although my friend hasn't logged in in two weeks because his PS4 broke and it hasn't arrived from sony yet... if you haven't had any problems let me know I have the account temporarily in my console so I can log in at least once every two days.

 
My phantoms locked last night, including one from my friend's main account, who logs in and plays every day.

One of the phantoms that locked was created 2 weeks ago after the locking started. I was lucky to last this long, I guess.

 
I've been off of here for a while so i'm not caught up on the pricing after the whole phantom debacle, AND with me getting a PS4 in the near future, I want to know what are the resells prices of WWE 2K15, GTA5, Bloodborne, Advanced Warfare, and Mortal Kombat X (all for PS4) each going for?

i gave a friend a phantom of my main account like a day before the update and he lost within the few days. 

 just read an article saying 2.51 was expected to come out today

It might be possible to find all of those except for MKX for $35 or less if the groups were created (a phantom was sold) before the problem started. Currently, phantoms have a chance of being locked if the console goes online. Because of this, you're not going to be able to sell a phantom for the usual $25. The price of a resell would depend on how much you could sell a phantom and/or a locked slot for.

I made a phantom with a friend last night for the sole purpose of deleting it to test out something. If it's in an unlocked state still, the console warns you "this account is activated, would you like to deactivate it first?" The phantoms that have been locked don't do the same thing.

To me, this is proof that locked phantom accounts aren't just losing their license by some method of corruption or on an individual basis. Sony is remotely deactivating those accounts, and that's why phantoms are getting locked.

I know the whole story about them so I figured the price would have jacked up a bit

Might as well ask here while I am at it, for all the PS4 Master Race owners, what should I know (besides the phantom drought of 2015) about it?

This isn't proof of anything.

If the phantom is unlocked, your system thinks it's the primary PS4. This is how phantoms work. Once it gets locked, the system now knows that it's not the primary PS4. This in no way proves that Sony went into your system and manually deactivated your phantoms.

If Sony was resetting individual accounts, all phantoms wouldn't lock at the same time. If they were doing it on a system level, licenses for all accounts would reset.

And again, Sony is not going to internally shift resources to have people resetting accounts.

All this being said, I'm going to do a test phantom later this week/weekend to see if the update changed anything.
