Phantoms have become Offline only, As soon as you Play the game online (signed into your Main + PSN) the game apparently locks and you cannot play it anymore.
@ "Why?"
On the PS4 you can only Have 1 PS4 Activated with that Account/Game, the "new" PSN checks to see if you actually own the game by checking your PS4's internal key (hardcoded to your PS4's motherboard, just like it was with PS3 and its how Windows can be reinstalled usually without having to reenter the CD Key) with the Game's license to see if the game is still activated with your PS4 or not, when it sees that your Phantom was Deactivated previously (When it initially became a Phantom share) it locks the game on your PS4 because your PS4 virtually does not own the game anymore, Because the same game is activated on another PS4; the Resell's.
Please note most of this is fact but some of it was pulled out of my ass, So I can make sense of what happened to PS4 Gamesharing versus PS3, and also this was the best way I could explain what "May" have happened when this "Purge" hit the PS4. GS-ing is really broken now, Phantoms cant play online, or earn trophies, because as soon as the go online they get locked out of the game.

I'm assuming people with still unlocked Phantoms after the purge, own Phantoms of Resells that have yet to be activated. I have a lot of games that I've phantomed but havent reactivated...because backlog. As above, since only one PS4 is activated with the Account/Game, PSN does not lock the game on your PS4.
