The Vita and PS3 offerings have cratered, those platforms are clearly not their focus at this point.

"fuck you, pay me!" I screwed up bad, I only had 6 months left on my sentence, then inexplicably, I renewed for another year. I'll say this much, the games we're getting with Games with Gold have been infinitely better from what I've seen so far!

Yeah, ever since we started to pay for multiplayer, PS Plus became worse and worse by each month. The thing i don't understand is all the people i see trying to defend Sony with all kinds of excuses.

I mean, are they seriously going to offer a game that everyone already got for free with the "welcome back program" back in 2011?

People are just sheep. Read the comments section on the PS Blog, it'll make you want to throw up! "Awesome lineup guys, thanks!" every other comment. They act like just because we get a free game we should be grateful. Completely disregarding the fact that free games are why most people sign up in the first place and we're getting NES-quality games for our subscription fees.

Thats exactly what i was talking about. I was reading the PS Blog and i can't believe people there defend this, even blind fanboyism has its limits. I read comments of people saying things like "oh but xbox games are still worse" or "PS4 is better than xbox". Sometimes i wonder if im the one wrong and they are right. I guess im getting too old for all this.

On a side note, Gametrailers.com has officially closed. What a shock, seeing how they completely ruined the site. Im surprised it lasted more than a month.

Half the Games with Gold stuff (literally half of what they have this month) has been stuff we got on Plus years ago, so it's not like we're missing out on much.

I implore you, go play an NES game then compare it to anything we've gotten. Pixel graphics =/= 16 bit gameplay.

I do agree the two offerings for PS3 this month are shit (not because they're bad games, but because they're 9 and 7 years old), and I've played Reality Fighters and it is awful.

Lords of the Fallen and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment next month. I'll take those over everything PS+ has given us over the course of the PS4's life.

I own an NES. I play the games on that far more often then the indie slop I get free every month on PS+.

 
Imo ps+ is worth it I will never buy any psn game(not full games or AAA games) since the pc version will be cheaper always, but with ps+ I got to try many different games like rocket league, stick it to the man, the binding of isaac rebirth and others plus the discounts. Not every month you get good games for the ps3 or ps4 or ps vita, but if tou own the 3 it's really worth it for $50 ot $40 if you got a good deal here.

I have nothing against indie games at all. I own many MANY indie games. The issue is lack of variety. Throw in Knack. Shadow Fall. Even a crappy Lego game! Mix it up a little, for the love of god! Every game *except Injustice, to be fair* we've received free from ps+ has been an indie. Every!

Wait a second, i never said the indie games are bad. I never questioned the quality of those indie games, all i said is that after 2 years we still didn't get a disc based big title. Why not offer 1 smaller indie 2D game and 1 bigger disc based game for example.

And for the record, i don't hate indie games. I like them and actually think many of them are better and innovate more than the games from bigger studios.

It's more ridiculous that people still have ps3s hooked up to play games when ps4 has been out for over 2 years
 
Also gameplay will always triumph graphics. Anyone who denies this is the worst kind of gamer. I'll take 12 months of Indies that play great over 12 months of pretty games that are entirely forgettable. Now we don't get 12 months of either, most of the indies they give us are as bland as the free aaa ones, but I'm just saying. The only difference between an indie and a aaa game is the amount of funding they get. If you expect Sony to dish out all that money to aaa publishers you better be willing to pay well more than 50 a year. It's a business not a charity

Not at all. I still play old games from time to time but they're not my go to for everyday gaming. PS3 has been out what, 10 years? In that time you couldn't beat any worthwhile game in your backlog? Complaining about the free PS3 games is to me like people complaining that a 20 year old game is free on steam and not something newer. PS3 games are so cheap now that complaining about the ps+ PS3 selection is just nuts to me. I still play snes games, my point was that some people primarily play on PS3 and don't see the value in ps+ PS3 games when the program is clearly geared towards the ps4 titles.

And yes give me shit for it but part of me does think unless you have a lot of 9/10+ games left to play on PS3 that your time is better spent on the litany of 9/10+ ps4 games currently out. Put that old slow hardware to rest. That comment was more saying all the good PS3 games are remastered on ps4 if you didn't play them yet, and that some people truly are just cheap ass gamers and refuse to upgrade. NOT that there are no good PS3 games. But let's face it, any modern gamer has already played the best PS3 has to offer at this point.

I agree with not bitching about extremely old ps3 games you get on ps+. But for someone who's so keen on retro games and understands that graphics doesn't beat gameplay you're awfully critical about people who still use their ps3s.

I've never owned a Danganronpa game, due to me never having a PSVITA. With the PC port that came through of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, this is one hell of a game and I'm enjoying it so far. I think I've seen it go on sale a couple times in the past and I would recommend it to those of you have the ability to purchase it.

 
for the ps+ stuff , i feel like sony cow milking me every month i see the list of the free games , what i pay for really! stable servers every year which i don't even get , if it's not that i just made all my friends buy ps4's i would've switched months ago.

Any downloaded Farcry Primal from the ps store ? is it really about 12gb or its some type of mistake ? have a code and i want to redeem it but have to make sure of the size first .

prob like most new games thats the core game, then downloads the rest once installed in the background, like SFV was around 6gb, and after it downloaded the rest it came out to 23gb

BTW hi everyone, the whole locked spots thing really has dried things up. Managed to snag a copy of Star Wars Battlefront with a Driveclub swap from brother's, brother in law been busy with that and now SF 5. These install sizes are crazy, will be needing a hard drive upgrade at this rate.

I rented a resell but it acts as if it's only the base game but if you log into the site it says it's the legendary edition, doesn't make any sense.

Did the resell come with the expansions? My destiny is also the base (bought the expansions on a different acc) and it comes up under the legendary edition page because that's the only version of destiny on the store.
