PCGamesupply has canadian codes for $38 US i believe they work in US too

but Im not getting PS+ lol, i still have ~ 10 monthly codes from IGN that work on new accounts, ... its a scam. The games are mostly broke and ugly or crashing, and the PS+ sales discounts arent real. they just made normal discounts less to give the full discount to ps+ only, no thanks.

So the guy my gf accidentlly bought an account from off eBay is giving me a hard time on a refund. Is it dnen legal to sell accounts on eBay? I feel like it would violate some terms of service for either eBay or Sony. Has anyone heard of ps account sellers on eBay getting shut down?

You could check the ebay policy overview on selling digital goods, see if the seller complies with everything that's there. Doubt selling accounts it's there

They do get shut down, this is highly illegal. A lot of those accounts get funded with stolen credit cards.

yes, selling accounts is illegal on ebay. Don't deal with them directly, just select 'not as described', call ebay customer service and tell them you want a refund. Don't speak to the 'seller'.

Does anyone happen to have an Overwatch resell? Unfortunately, I can't imagine there are too many of these accounts floating around since the phantoms would have been useless.

People are holding the price on the physicals of this like a dog with a bone.

I think the only reason X1 players are separate is because of the way the MS servers are set up, MS wants to be able to control the servers I think and that makes the cross play not possible between all 3 but Somy does allow it on some games but mostly only mmos so far
 
Sony can't have a little success and they go full retard. Yesterday they announce PSPLUS price increase, today they announce PS NOW for PC where you will be able to play PS1\2\3 games and soon PS4 games too. And they announce all this right before they are going to reveal a new console.

They are really determined to slow PS4 sales.

Consoles are gonna diie in one or two gens, pcs are going cheap and with psnow sony it's preparing for that case (IMO)
 
You won't be able to play ps4 games on pc. Only with remote play. And a ten dollar increase per year is seriously so minimal I have no idea why people are flipping out. Back in my day we paid 60 bucks for Xbox live just to play halo 2 and Conker. You are getting good discounts and free games. Even if most months are stinkers with free games there's always one or two that's worth it. And if you don't play multiplayer you don't need ps+ anyway.

Be thankful you get free games. They could just make you pay 60 a year for just multiplayer rights. Not like xbones selection is much better and I think they're 60 a year too.

Why would you feel thankful for Sony financing all their losing divisions with the PlayStation money and getting always greedier? And xbox gold one year is available for $30 plus they got a better network and better free games now... :D

Plus they got EA access.

Sure $60 isnt much if you play online every day, or maybe every weekend. But if you just play once in a while and dont care for buggy indies? :D

There is a reason everyone is getting so mad, if they delivered a better service people wouldnt complain so much...

Anyway some good news, that new Poker game in PSN, its pretty fun :) And its online does not need PS+^^

Yup. I'm willing to bet that either

A) PS4 titles will just be old garbage games or arcade games, and not new games

or

B) PS4 will have a separate PS NOW section that will not have a subscription, and will be an expensive amount per week

Willing to bet it's option A. Doesn't make sense to say 'pay $30 a month and get access to every new game that comes out' - they'd lose out on so much money that it's not even funny. The same way that you don't get the new PS3 games, I think you'd end up with just games like inFamous, Killzone, etc. and stuff that's always on sale. You'll see games on there 6 months-1 yr after they've been out when their sales have dried up.

Plus, who cares, we have Qdizzle. No need to stream anything as long as the savior of the masses is around.

Why is the $10 price increase considered Sony being greedy? You know that they have stuff to maintain on their end, right? Networking and the tools to support it aren't free. Not to mention the people that actually work on these things need to be paid. People who expect improvements or changes without paying for them are the greedy ones.

That's what licensing fees are for though. They already get way more than enough money from that.

Meanwhile PSN doesn't improve and continues to be as shitty as ever, and yet Steam manages to keep being free still.

 
Anyone have a cheap Phantom of GTA IV for PS3? looking for the mainly for the base game only. if not I'll just get physical as that's cheap

Seeing the Ps plus debate reminds me of e3 some years ago when the Sony fanboys were tripping over themselves to clamor about the cheaper and superior. Ps plus service. And how m$ is the worst.

Because PSN hasn't improved one bit since they started to ask money and sometimes it is even shittier than before.
I don't trust Sony one bit when it comes to online and improved stability.
Xbox live on Xbox one a decade ago ran much smoother than PSN ever did.

If Sony would have made improvements since they launch paid online than i wouldn't care about the 10$ price increase, but they didn't so yeah I care that they increase prices for a service than is running worse than a rival service 13 years ago at launch.
They will just use "exchange" rate as an excuse and if they don't do it they will run a loss.

Is there anyone else who just thinks when there's one time size don't matter is when it comes to a console? It's not like they're massive like an old dvd/vcr player or something.

Is it really going to rise for you? Will there still be black friday/christmas sales for PSN at $35-40 for a year? Will that deal now be $45?

Gameshare accounts split the cost on PSN(like I do already)

I mean ill admit ive missed out on the $35-40 deals for PSN for a year but thats my own fault.
