its just gonna be a bunch of old games everyone has already played/gotten for free from gold/ps+ with a subscription fee. the list of partnered publishers is a joke outside of capcom (unless you like sports games which will prob be last years). Go look at some games "focus home interactive" has made and tell me if you care to play any of them, for example

downloading the games is an improvement over the gaikai technology of ps now which is streaming, but i'd also argue that they are not going for the same thing here. None of the titles will be very expensive to buy in stores because they're only going to put titles on there that people don't buy anymore - not cost effective to put things on that still sell (same idea as ps+)

i guess if you are completely new to current gen it will be worth it but otherwise it's a waste of money. it's also more expensive than PS NOW for the record, and i'm pretty sure microsoft taxes on that whereas sony does not

and how the fk is major nelson still in that position. dude is such a tool and i always got a distant vibe from him like he hates the fanbase

You have good points, i won't disagree with that...

But a few points-
-The monthly subscription is cheaper. So someone using it for select months will pay less. There was no news on a yearly rate, but if there is such a thing, it would probably be lower than PS Now's price (probably).
-xbox game pass will have some compatibility with windows 10.
-games will cycle in and out, which doesn't have to be a bad thing (it can bring in newer games temporarily)
-it could be a great start to someone who's been waiting for scorpio but still wants to play some older games without buying them (I haven't played halo 5 yet so I'm hoping that's not one of the games they switch out... currently don't own an xbo)
-PS Now only has ps3 games and last I checked a few months ago, a lot of the good exclusive games were not available on it.
-this will be a great opportunity for both platforms to compete with each other.

Yes. Its probably discounted from the EA sale that i think is for 2 or 3 weeks, so yeah buying the cheaper wil get you both unless description says otherwise.. Ive had this before and with some bundles/listings it seems when its discounted psn can only add it by giving you a new option next to the normal price, and it does indeed give you the full thing

What happened to this thread? Usually i was getting phantoms instant which i could buy. But now im still waiting for a horizon phantom.

Very high demand for far cry horizon as every sony fan is happy there finally is a good exclusive for ps4. I suggest waiting 3-4 days til everyone is bored of the game.

Just bored as so many other creative and active adults by the always same campaign games, following pointers/corridors/narratives, walking from A to B, meaningless dialogues and always similiar game mechanics and handholding. Oh you have a bow in Horizon and you can level it up. How fresh and new and revolutionary :D

Hopefully there will be some more survival games on PS4 soon as Ark and The Forest, and hopefully with great graphics/performance and lots of player freedom and choice.

I guess I could join the phantom train for Horizon as I'm not really playing anything online at the moment so can easily plug off for a while. Q or anyone else who has one, PM me.
