Mission 42 in MGS V appears broke for some people, it can mess up your savegame. So it´s maybe best to not do it for now.

yeah i´ve been wondering about it. i only went offline now with mgs 5 , but i still have phantoms working of far cry 4, ass creed 4 and wolfenstein from months ago.... maybe they weren´t reset yet tho.

But pantsu_ was sayintg the offline phantoms didn´t lock for him immediately. So maybe it works fine to download updates, or even add another offline phantom (like fallout 4 which i would love to have next to mgs5)

the pro/elite thing to do tho, would probably be to block the sony authorization servers in your router unless you need them (to activate a new game) but i guess nobody has done this yet.

Well I'm not sure how fast it locked because I wasn't there when it happened. But there was only about an hour between when she did it and when I noticed it was locked.

i hope you werent mad at your wife. she surely didint do this on purpose. And yeah you can just get another offline phantom at like $8 :p still cheaper than what phantoms used to sell for $25?

Lol. Yeah I mean I was a little irritated that I spent the money and lost the Phantom within 24 but I know she didn't do it on purpose. I don't bother explaining the finer points of gamesharing because she only cares that I get the games she's interested in. She didn't know to leave it off.

But yeah, even if I find a rental or something, it'll still be cheaper than an old phantom.

Anyway does anyone know if Rock Band has been a digital game at any point? I will be needing a copy.

 
Long shot but anyone looking to sell locked spot for mgsv? Or a phantom that wont be deactivated for a month or so? With the taken king coming out in couples of weeks i dont think i can finish it quickly so i dont want to waste money renting it.

I have a slot I can rent out on Steins;Gate (EU version, but other than maybe a separate trophy set or game ID there's no difference). Not too keen on actually making a phantom of it but if you don't want a timeshare and no one else comes through I'd consider it.

Not sure about the PS3 games (I seem to recall the 360 getting a Rock Band 3 GoD with all the patches, including the one that unfortunately fixed the free DLC workaround), but I'm pretty sure I saw a post about Rock Band 4 being up for digital preorder on the PS Blog, with a set of exclusive bonus tracks.

Haha twas all good man!

Went snorkeling & sailing, tried to take some underwater pictures with my supposedly waterproof phone.. and broke it the second day there.. but we had a blast, sent it in for repair and they are fixing for no charge

Also went ziplining and did a couple tours, tried some ethnic ass food and spoke a shitload of spanish. Driving was hectic as signs are weird, but we managed alright

One shitty thing was parking.. they charged $25 per day to park underneath the hotels parking... and there was really no other option, so fuck them. Next time we go back I will def have to look a little more into the hotel
