Thats the reason. Thats the reason you can't just buy the $40 Taken King expansion on your main account if you have the resell of the account on another account.

I had to log back into my Destiny Resell to buy TTK on that account instead of my main.

 
I have a quick question. I am kinda limited on my gaming time lately and want to get some good quality in gaming. Besides metal gear is taking up my time. Can anyone recommend a good game to burn through that has a great story? Thanks a lot!

The whole point is to start a group prior to the first day and find someone who wants the phantom slot, with you taking the resell slot. Unless snakey gets unbanned, nobody will be selling resells in the first few days a game comes out.

I have Destiny digital on spare account (not main, it cam with the PS4 trade I got). I have new PSN plus card ready and ready to buy the rest of the DLC to put on my main and trade in the Destiny disc when the legendary edition comes out.

How do I play TTK +PSN plus with my main account?

You have to have Destiny Expansion 1 and Expansion 2 on the same account to buy Taken King. If you have the 2 DLC on your main you can buy TTK on your main and still have the game on a separate account, but if the other account has the DLC on it then you have to buy it on there, or buy both Expansions on your main account as well

i heard its patched and you have to add payment method to get the trial.
