Pretty shameful Sony/2K is adding Evolve in the flash sale when it's becoming a free to play tittle.

One of my favorite series ever. Dead Rising 1 has its issues to some extent (the prisoners in the outdoor area, the difficulty early on) but it's still a solid game. Dead Rising 2 is in my top 3 games of all time next to Mega Man Legends and Resident Evil 4 (ironically all Capcom games)

They should just release off the record without the challenges. It's just a better version of 2 but those challenges are dumb. A lot of people are hesitant to start them due to the time restrictions but honestly the restrictions are really not an issue. They give you plenty of time to do the story missions, the real issue is if you want to do mostly all of the sidequests in one playthrough which you shouldn't even be attempting on your first run anyway. The right way to do it is to play casually for your first playthrough and clean up any missing survivors in NG+. I can pretty much do every quest on any playthrough at this point, you just have to know where the good weapons/food are and how to level up quick. Mostly everything carries over into NG+. Can't stress enough how good those games are, especially in co-op. Don't be dissuaded by time limits, as you only technically HAVE to do the story missions in time.

I never played Dead Rising. Still have the original first print release of Dead Rising for Xbox360, still factory sealed. Its supposed to be very rare now, guess i can try sell it on ebay since its coming to PS4.

Dead Rising are horrible, boring games. Stay away.

If you want a fun zombie game get dead island/dying light, cod zombies or 7 days to die.

There was a high curve and difficulty spike, but i wouldn't call them issues. The game was designed to be high in difficulty for replay ability and you weren't supposed to get the true ending first try in. That's why you could level and become better. DR1 was as a structure and pace much better thought out than DR2.
Multiple save points ruined any difficulty there was within the game. The tight time constraint, the one save slot, low level and hard bosses all made DR1 a great and hard experience. Perhaps people will like this more now that "hard" games are the shit, like dark souls etc..

 
It´s not about being right, people just have different tastes and thats fine. However I find it way too odd if people complain about a game (7 days to die) they never even played. I played Dead Rising OTR on ps3 and it´s just not fun. MY opinion of course you can have a different opinion. Its ridiculous anyways like on Neogaf in the recent sales thread they all say "OMG!!! buy Gravitiy Rush for $20!! Best game ever"... Funny tho all who rave about it have some teenage anime avatar. So there´s just different people liking different games ;)

And it´s not even just related to age, some people prefer exploring and fun gameplay, while others mainly focus on a good story. So that´s why it´s always helpful when people say WHY they love some game. If they dont explain the why, their opinion is completely useless. As for me and Dead Rising, the gameplay just isnt fun. When youre coming from COD or even Dead Island, I just dont see any reason why you would bother with such crap gameplay.

You Just played one Dead Rising game and write of the whole franchise? Bassicly doin the same you said is odd other people are doing.
As a zombie game, Dead rising (especially 1 and 2 more or less) are waaay better zombie games than 7 days to die (I have played the better version which is on pc). If you want to compare them. They are both different genres, with zombies. Comparing them is hard.
That and Dead rising is a finished product, something that won't happen for years for 7 days to die.

Ok mate no problems, but whats the benefit of a "finished" product? Do you also prefer a 40 y.o. housewife over a 20 y.o hottie even if she isn´t that experienced? I mean that´s a weird argument. If you prefer to play Dead Rising thats fine but why not just say WHAT you enjoy about Dead Rising ?? Because I don´t see it and frankly on metacritic and other sites many people dislike Dead Rising too. However 7 days to die - to stay with that example - is something fresh on ps4, with basically unlimited building, exploring, grinding and looting possibility :) So if you like the latter, surely 7 days to die is the better game for you.

 
Dead Rising = mass killing zombies in the shopping centre and "the arena" with everything you can grab? IF that's the game, then it sucks. Sucks hard. Played 1&2 on 360. Boring, extremly repetitive and with time clicking. You can't even kill'em for fun because you have no time for it.

Need a RPG, was thinking of getting that on my main or Salt And Sanctuary and maybe even Enter The Gungeon. 

Was not thinking and redeemed a 50 PSN card on main so might as well get something I can play for a while. 

Open to other suggestions as well, just don't suggest 7 Days To Die.

I've only played Salt & Sanctuary, it's fun in an indie-Dark Souls kinda way. I'd say hit up QDizz for a rental, see if it's the kind of game you're into

Man your example about the women is apples and oranges. A finished game won't chance, you can get everything out if it. A early access game can have radical chances making it a horrible experience after enjoying it. So yeah having a game that is fully developed is more enjoyable. It has all the features, and it will not chance radical. Early access games are playable, but don't have all the features, a lot of bugs (some full games have this as well unfortunate), etc...
So it's not weird to prefer full release games over early access.

Dead rising was fun, because it was a challenging game were you needed to hurry to complete every objective. The one slot save made everything even harder and you couldn't make a lot of errors.

The boss battles were awesome and each psycho had such a crazy personality/reason to go crazy that they were varied and fun to play with. Crazy ass clown with dual mini chainsaws. Crazy pervert on roller blades and bombs, etc...
It was something new in the generation and is still fairly unique in it's concept. The zombies are fillers to make everything harder. It was also refreshing that a lot of the environmental items could be used as weapons. Out of swords? Take a bench and kick some zombie ass.

There were a lot of endings and the story (and main character) were all so cheesy it made it a enjoyable game.

Don't know why you would bring Metacritic into this? I mean 7 days to die has a review of 45 and user 4.8 score while Dead rising 1 has 85 and a 7.7 (all other dead rising games are higher as well). So it makes more sense that it should be like this: WHAT is so enjoyable about 7 days to die because frankly i don't see it on metacritic and a lot of users complain about 7 days to die being unfinished and rubbish on console.

It's not really fresh, you got minecraft, don't starve, terraria, the forrest, etc.. on ps4. When DR1 came out no game like it was out.

I have no issue with you liking or prefering 7 days to die (all the better that you enjoy a game), but please don't argue based on having almost no experience with the other games. Especially using apples and oranges comparisons and using metacritic and "other" sites, when the game you are advocating for is far worse on both. That is why people think you're getting paid to promote 7 days to die.

 
Using merely the score on Metacritic is not a valid argument, you have to factor in the number of ratings. You are both arguing opinion for far too long here. If there's a constant counter-argument to a counter-argument based on an opinion, then things have gone south. In an attempt to  persuade the masses that  the opposing party has a bad opinion, you are both (ironically) annoying everyone. At the end of the day there's no need to argue opinion whether it's baseless or not. I mean, you can, but whoever posts an argument next just looks worse by comparison.

TL;DR - Quit the pointless bickering so people can buy/sell shares in peace

Did you enjoy ZTD? I picked it up none the less even though you told me I should play/watch the previous games lmfao. I enjoyed what I got out of it (I'm almost done... but not entirely). I did watch some of the previous games/saw a recap so I got the hang on some of the things. Rumor has it that the previous titles will release on Steam, so I plan on playing them then.

It was great until About 2/3 of the way through then it fell apart. 999 and VLR were better. The sigma/Diana ending was fantastic though. A lot of the story prob makes no sense without playing the previous 2 games. Id say absolutely still worth playing tho even if the end is meh.

Hey guys, I'm from Hungary and I can't buy Mortal Kombat X from the US store now. Anyone can help me out? I have an account, so what I need is only somebody who can use a US paypal or US credit card to buy the game (with the free PS Plus trial it's like 16$ if I'm correct).
Can anyone help me out? I'll pay you 17$ or  you can have my EU Need For Speed (2015) PS4 resell (phantom is also available).
The sale ends tomorrow.

you can just buy some psn card from the psn code trading thread :)

usually they sell $20 psn for $16-$18 depending on the seller
